The Speer Family are now all singing in Heaven. The founder and family patriarch Dr G.T. (Dad) Speer went to Heaven on September 7,1966;Mrs Lena(Mom) Speer followed her husband to Heaven on October 6,1967. Bro Brock Speer passed on to Glory March 19th,1999;his sister Mary Tom followed on September 16th,2014;Mrs Faye Speer went to Heaven on October 13th,2015; Dr.Ben Speer went to Heaven on April 7th,2017 and the last surviving member of the original Speer family Mrs Rosa Nell Powell went to Heaven on May 16th,2017. A legendary and pioneering family in Gospel music. The First Family of Gospel Music is indeed a well deserved title.
My heart just rejoices that these Precious SAINTS are all together now in Heaven with Mom and Dad Speer !! We can listen and be BLESSED in 2018 and KNOW that we will ALL be in Heaven, " AFTER WHILE !!" Hallelujah !!
You know when you watch the video now I love the speer family mind you dad speer served in the war with my great grandaddy. But when I was looking closer at the video not that it matters ben was still singing but lips stopped moving several times after 1:50 mark but the song still carries the message regardless I knew been personally though sweet man
Daniel, perhaps God hasn't found the right girl for you yet. Don't give up on God, after all He sent his Son to shed his precious blood on Calvary, so that we humans would have a second chance at forgiveness and Everlasting Life in Heaven when all of our time is ul and God calls us Home to live Eternally. I'll pray for you Daniel that you find your way back to God.
Heavenly Father I come before you now and I ask Lord that you wrap your Loving arms around Daniel and you Fill him with such a longing that he can't do anything but come back to You Lord. Touch his life and guide Him with Your Love, take away his hurt and send him the Right Girl to walk beside him on his journey through this life. I ask this and all in the name of Your Precious Son, Jesus Christ who shed His blood on Calvaries Tree that we may be forgiven of our sins. In His Holy Name Amen.
