Ten years prior to this recording Dr Ben Speer with sisters Mary Tom and Rosa Nell sang this song as Bro Brock Speer lay dying in Nashville,Tennessee. It was at the Gaither Homecoming taped at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis and was recorded just hours before Bro Brock Speer went Home to be with the Lord. What a treat to see and hear Mary Tom singing lead.
What I appreciate is the crowd of singers saluting & honoring The 4 Speers. Oh what singing! Oh what a great & glorious day is awaiting us in Christ Jesus - yes, a happy never ending day.
Fantastic Choir. Amazing Pianist and Director. Always loved this song... and how sweet to have the legendary Speer Family right there,,, with just a teaser of what Heaven's Choir will be.
The choir is being directed by Bro. Tom Powell, who is the eldest son of Mrs. Rosa Nell Speer-Powell and the Reverend Dr. Edwin Powell. Tom is also the second eldest grandson of Dad and Mom Speer the co-founders of the Stamps-Baxter School Of Music. His maternal uncle Dr. Ben Speer coordinated and directed the school after Dad Speer’s passing until 2016 when he became unable due to his declining health. His nephew Brian and his son Darren now organize and coordinate the school.
Ben, Mary Tom, Rose Neil, & Faye Speer.....Rose Neil, the eldest here, passed away last......Oh how I loved & miss them all, especially Brock....A Great Man of God he surely was!!!

Even in 2024 I still love listening to this family thank you 😊
The algorithm must’ve known I needed this. I lost my grandmother last September. I miss her dearly and can’t wait ‘til that meeting.
Amen. I lost Mom and Dad. What a day that will be.😂
I lost my Dad in 1970 and my Mum in 2001. I’ll
meet them in the air one day. A wonderful meeting that will be.

Such a sad story
Not a sad story at all for the believer whom rests assured in the presence of Christ the King!
WHEN BEN SANG THIS IN CONCERT, I SAW TEARS IN HIS EYES!
God bless old school Christians
WHEN I HEAR THIS SONG NOW, I THINK OF THE ORIGINAL SPEER FAMILY, BUT, I ALSO THINK OF THE MEETING WITH MY FAMILY!

Love seeing The Speers singing together. A beautiful song. I look forward to ‘The meeting in the air”
It´s such a joy to see that they´re enjoying it. Maybe you´re old, have some pains and troubles... But music always helps! This is the living proof!
Mary Tom was still singing about our great God!
What a Blessing to hear the Spear Family sing one of Dad Spear’s songs!🎶🎼🎶
