Ol' Johnny boy seems particularly zany and unhinged with this one fellas🎉 If he bites you, well.. you shouldn't have been minding your own business like that
Yeah, I got Turning Point Fall of Liberty at release on Xbox 360. I think I even got the sweet metal box version, but didn't keep it. They did the same for Clive Barkers Jericho too. Enjoyed the concept for Turning Point. And we did an actual great FPS in this kind of alternate history setting with Wolfenstein The New Order and The Old Blood. It got savaged by reviews too, but I actually liked Legendary that also made by the same dev who did Turning Point.
So I'm normally working on stuff and am listening/watching on another screen, but every now and again I have to put actual work down and rewind. 14:55-15:05 LMAO. I had to re-listen to that sentence like twice to make sure I wasn't just crazy and hearing things. Dude, when you hit those random moments of pure surrealism, it's magic.
I liked Legendary. Recently played through their Call of Duty game for PS2. Fun, except for some difficulty spikes near the end of the game. Shame they went out with Lost Planet 3.
@@HyperTensionJohnny that’s the one. Before it was released, the game was originally supposed to be called, “Legendary: The Box. Which I always thought was much more stupid and fun name.
Even Michael Ironside as Dan probably couldn't have saved TP. This channel is the best! The music, the humor, and the tone when delivering sarcasm RULE. Probably the only VG channel that I consistently turn my speakers up for. 😃
Would you believe me if I said Michael Giacchino of recent The Batman fame did the music score for this game? He also did the music score for pretty much all the Medal of Honour PS2 and PC games, the early Call of Duty games, Black and Mercenaries Playground of Destruction. If you played Medal of Honour Frontline and remember that intro song, that was him or the haunting memorable music of Mercenaries Playground of Destruction all him. This guy did the music for many people's childhood games.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft had the gall to make Sam Fisher a member of Rainbow 6 by keeping his franchise ☠️ but having him be a senior advisor of some sort to the “new” R6 in R6 Siege. It’s every bit as bad as it sounds
The shotty IS a Winchester but I think it's more likely it was modelled after the M1897 rather than the Model 12, as the Model 12 is hammerless. Great video, nonetheless.
I live close to where that monster killed those 3 little girls last year - the UK (or should that be airstrip one?) really is a horror show right now man, shit's all shades of messed up 😔 he got sentenced to 52 years in jail yesterday but it's not going to bring those innocent children back sadly. May they rest in peace. On the game itself, I've actually never even heard of this until now but when I saw the overturned Chrysler building it reminded me of Freedom Fighters where you'd see destroyed New York landmarks off in the distance at times while battling through the streets and alleyways. Speaking of Freedom Fighters.... I'd love to see that game get the flowers it deserves, you know what to do 😉
Sadly, the criminals in the ivory towers have nothing to say until the trouble comes to their door. As long as the votes and the money keep rolling in. Of course, the trouble doesn't reach them because they have armed guards, which is irony thicker than redwood, but I digress. Every single time I see that Freedom Fighters icon on my desktop, my inner voice screams, "Do it."
I bought this game for PS3 when it came out, hoping that it was going to be the next Freedom Fighters (which is a severely underrated game that has a similar plot)... Sadly, it was not.
Funny you should mention Freedom Fighters. When I saw Turning Point it gave me those same vibes. But when I played it however, oh boy... that was a mistake. Great concept, but terrible execution this was. Just felt like every other generic WW2 shooter and by then we were swimming in countless WW2 shooters
Aw hell yeah time for slavjank trying to be a AAA "real boy" game. You need to tap the deep crevices of trash; esoteric, famous, forgotten, damn near unknown.. exploring the wide world of multicultural vidyagaem tirefires id always much appreciated.
5:01 Willy Blazkowicz did awright, right? and down with his lineage - Commander Keen saved a galaxy working alone. ...on a pogo stick. Even further - Keen's grandgrand...-son stopped hellish invasion, remember? All that doom ( ;-D ) 'cos of some poor rabbit. or bunny. or hare. well, u know. Zbigniew Błaszczykiewicz started it all, Polska gurom!
7:48 damn this was an UE3 game right iirc? It looks like the stereotypes describing the "Brown & Bloom™" era of the 7th Gen were all gathered up into a little fцскеd Katamari.. and just kept rolling until it became the worst 5$ roll of toilet paper (it keeps gashing my nards, pls help) you could stumble upon. I suppose diving into a dumpster, formerly known as a "GameStop" or "Electronics Boutique," is typically thrilling in it's own right.. and if you get a Turning Point stuck to your shoe for the price of 5 bucks at least you'll defo make that back from YTBux and rando's donos?
My dude.... if you want to play a truly terrible game, give "Hidden Invasion" for PS2 a whirl.. it is still the very worst game i've ever played (and i've been playing games since the late 80's). It makes Turning Point seem like high art, by comparison.. It's worth noting that i own a copy of turning point, and played through it, and didn't think it was all that bad....because i've played so many other WORSE games. i can appreciate games that are rough around the edges, and can forgive faults, if there are elements of the game i enjoy.. In the case of Turning Point, the alternate history premise and setting, soundtrack, and story appealed to me. Yes, some things about it were ass, but i could overlook those things, because there were other things about the game that i genuinely liked. Again, check out that PS2 game i suggested.... it is SO ass, it may even be worth a video.
@HyperTensionJohnny People say State of Emergency 2 us bad but I liked it. There is also the PS2 version of Mercenaries 2 World in Flames you could try out.
He did bad job if that was a salute for the naughty moustache man. He didn't even tap his feet together, hand wasn't straight and arm was off at an awkward angle and didn't even say the words. Spoke about giving his heart to the crowd. Did it all wrong.
Two seconds in and I'm already in tears 😂
Dude, you NEED to do more comedic videos. I like when you're off the leash and just talking shit
@walkerdean5045 yeah well I thought it was funny. Who gives a fuck if you didn't? I mean, really.
Dude you should totally do a freedom fighters video. I still go back and play the hell out of that game.
It's sitting in my GOG library. I'm definitely going to sometime
'Alright already... gsssh" my mans channeling Andrew Dice Clay within the first few minutes! You got yourself a sub.

I really have to get to Jericho...
Legendary was fun I've been trying to play it on my Ally but it's hard to get the controllers mapped out

Oh Spark Unlimited.
I have an affinity for their stuff. It’s bad.
But it was so strange- look into Legendary. It’s bad, but it’s insane.

Yaiba- Ninja Gaiden. That one was a weird one too haha. But kinda fun
@digitalhauntology, Oh yeah, Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z. Everyone ripped that one apart back then. Still better than base Ninja Gaiden 3 and its censorship.
Is that the one with the Griffin on the cover?

The shotgun in game is the Winchester M1897 trench gun not the M1912.
Wolfenstein at home.
Funny, well written, edited, narrated, etc. Fantastic analysis of an awful game
