PPV posters truly were amazing and unique back then. The amount of effort into them was outstanding and despite how weird some of them are, it was still great to see the amount of detail everything had back then. Great video, homie, and it’s always a blast seeing your content and seeing you healthy and happy.🙂👍
Nikateen is genuinely my favourite channel for wrestling content. He talks to you as a fellow fan rather than talking down to you like a lot of wrestling RUclips channels do
Posters before were weird but definitely unique. Also to me that slambroee poster it looks like luger was in a master lock but it wasn't fully locked in
Nice to see posters get talked about... now if only someone can talk about the lost art of the titantron. Seriously. Getting hyped up from seeing what is essentially a 1-minute loop of your favourite wrestler kicking ass and maybe a little flair added by something to do with the nickname or whatever... was the hypest stuff growing up. Back then, when you saw a titantron, you instantly remember Stone Cold's glass shattering, a shot of a rattlesnake, multiple stunners etc. When you saw The Rock's titantron, you saw the Brahma Bull logo, electricity everywhere, People's Elbows and Rock Bottoms. When you saw Undertaker's titantron, you saw shots of the full moon, tombstones, creepy girls, fire, Taker in his Ministry outfit etc etc etc. Nowadays, you have an abstract moving background ripped straight outta Pixabay and some word art from Microsoft Word 98 stating the wrestler's name. That doesn't get me hyped.... at all. It comes across as cheap and lazy. I've seen better trons made on RUclips than multi-billion dollar wrestling promotions.
4:28 this poster is like the equivalent of that god awful Mega Man 1 NES box art lol 5:34 and this one is like the equivalent of Zoolander's Blue Steel face
THIS is a great idea... maybe you could go even further into the world of wrestling promotional stuff in the future? Possibly from WWF or ECW? Even NWA had some janky promo stuff... and I'm sure the further down the "wrestling promotion ladder" you go, the jankier stuff will get. Lovin' the new stuff, Nik! I also love lasagna...
Yeah those PPVs were weird however some of those PPVs were at the end of WCW life at the time are u going to be doing more Spotlight Video Game reviews by any chance and could u review some Xbox 360 and Xbox One games by any chance and did u ever get a chance to watch the New Twisted Metal series on Peacock and is it ok or no and also will u do a review of AEW Fight Forever let me know Mike
3:49 Booker is hugging the belt😂 4:30 Who's is behind on left of "2004 Sid/Mark" DDP? 8:15 Why is Jeff Hardy on The Halloween Havoc 2000 poster😂? I know it's supposed to be Sting but he like doing a Jeff Hardy pose.

5:10 Bagwell with the Rizz face 2000s style
3:46 Booker T is holding on for dear life 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Always looking forward to your new Videos
This was great. I love looking at those weird but nostalgic 90s WCW posters.
An episode about wrestling magazines would be great. Miss seeing them at the store. You would do it justice.
Theres NOTHING they WONT do to hold the gold 🥵
Posters before were weird but definitely unique. Also to me that slambroee poster it looks like luger was in a master lock but it wasn't fully locked in
The N64 music really is the cherry on top of the video. Pilot Wings was so fun.
2:08 that was really good
The poster from Wcw mayhem 2000 with Scott Steiner in a insane asylum breaking out of a straight jacket was always odd to me as a kid

Mayhem 2000 is another strange one.

Lovin' the new stuff, Nik!
I also love lasagna...
I think the one with Buff Bagwell it's amaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing .... I think it's amazing!!
That buff bagwell George Michael poster had me geekin
The last one looks like the magazine ad of some mid-tier at best video game from the time that's only memorable because of its ad.
Maybe the designer for Halloween Havoc 1999’s poster was a big Animorphs fan?
Totally looks like Animorphs!
I love the Buff Bagwell blue steel poster
Why yes, I do love me some Lasagna, thanks for asking!
I always thought that creature on the Halloween havoc 1999 poster looked like a half Goldberg half Lion
#1 was truly nightmare fuel! 😆
This may be an example of when you sacrifice the promotion aspect of it, but try to hype it with some abstract art instead.
Number 10 was Lex Luger in an abdominal stretch applied by The Giant.

nice to see you again :)
WWE randomly had R-Truth on a Hell in a Cell poster a few years ago and the guy hadn't been on TV in ages😂
Hell in a Cell 2013 was more than a few years ago and he officially returned to TV on the Raw after. He was also on the pre show panel for that PPV.
You think you can cover something just as weird like the WCW Slam Jam Album with a bunch of wrestlers theme songs?
Lol, good idea!
The Superbrawl 2000 one was strange since it was months before Booker T was suddenly elevated to the top spot
I knew Halloween Havoc 99 would be #1 on this
Great choices dude.
3:49 Booker is hugging the belt😂
4:30 Who's is behind on left of "2004 Sid/Mark" DDP?
8:15 Why is Jeff Hardy on The Halloween Havoc 2000 poster😂?

Thank you for the new video 💯
That's not Booker T on the SuperBrawl 2000 poster. Booker has those shoulder scars. I think it's Hard Work Bobby Walker, of all people.
Will you do top 10 weirdest WWF PPV Posters someday?
I hope to do that soon!
there was two posters i was scared of
starrcade 98 poster is awsome imo
😆
I hope ur doing fine with the survivor series as video😉👍👌
Slamboree 1997 I'm gonna say is Arn Anderson with an abdominal stretch.
Arn! Makes sense. I was trying to think of who else other than Luger wore plain black trunks at the time.
@@NikateeN it's the hairy forearm :) I think it's him, I could be wrong. Happy to corrected if I am.
I agree I think it's Arn Anderson who has Lex in the abdominal stretch.
Nice list
HECK YEAH
Good video!!!
Sup with none of these fools answering the real question posed here? Lasagna rules.
Yes!
I keep asking the same question but get no real answer but will u be making more wwe/wcw video game reviews or any other wwe/wcw video game videos
It’s more than likely but as of right now I don’t have any in the works.
@NikateeN are you going to review AEW Fight forever?
8:00 I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be a panther.
🤢
Good old cringy times...
I love lasagna
Any plans on a Fight forever review
I was hoping to be started on it but I haven’t had a chance to even play the game yet.
@@NikateeN We were told it was 'like' revenge/no mercy, but I'm not so sure. Will be Interesting to hear your perspective
