Caesar's Palace deserves an honorable mention, it was the first outdoor Wrestlemania, and even though the show itself wasn't great, the theme and visuals were fun
What id give for wrestling to go back to having awesome venues. I loved the stergis road wild 1s from WCW. They was the kings of awesome venues for sure.
I’ll admit, seeing all of the venues WCW went to, from Pool Clubs, actual beaches, a motorcycle event, Big Bear, etc., I would kill to have at least, 1 modern WWE event take at one of these locations, especially a pool club, as the visual of the ring being surrounded by a pool is so dope. Also, I’d love to try Jericho’s cruise one day, as it seems so awesome. Nice video, homie.🙂👍
WCW Nitro sounds like an interesting riddle Q:What starts in a mall in Minnesota and ends on a beach in Miami? A:WCW Nitro Also I've been on two of those Jericho cruises and the atmosphere is simply you have to experience it if your a wrestling fan. A bunch of wrestlers and fans partying and chillin for four days
I always loved the look of the first couple tribute to the troops when they would go to Iraq I remember when Lilian Garcia singing the national anthem I got teary eyes along with her
AEW should legit host a Dynamite or a Collision in a club like Vela idk a ton about Florida or the clubs that are next to the beach but if they can find one that looks similar to Vela they should definitely host a Dynamite I’ll be cool especially if it takes place around spring break
I may of not been able to be there at the mall of the america Nitro episode on lack of being born yet, but September of last year a MN indie wrestling company named first wrestling and they held show at the Mall of America just like wcw did all those ago and i went actually got to see that show there. I can comfort its a cool and unique venue for a wrestling show. I also brought a PastaMania sign to the show so its legend will never die Brother!
I was looking to see if there were any matches that actually took place during that event but I couldn’t find anything. It looks like the ring was just setup for promotional shots, but I could be wrong.
I like how wcw tended to get creative with ppv themes. Halloween Havoc, Bash at the Beach, Hog Wild. I wish WWE would try to do this kind of thing more. I guess they blow their entire budget trying to turn shitty e-celebs into wrestlers.
You may be surprised to know that wrestling events have taken place in venues like parking lots of grocery stores and street markets here in Mexico. I've even heard that Rey Mysterio's first match took place outside a church. In 2020, there was a PPV called Rancho de México for which the ring was set up in the middle of the countryside.
Yes! The venue matters just as much if not MORE than the arena design... There was always something special about MSG, with its short, centered entryway... no matter what "branding" was plastered all over the joint... it still was obviously MSG. I was also always partial to outdoor venues, like WM9 in Vegas, or the Nitro shows with the pools, or at the MGM (which you mentioned)... Then there was Penn Station... possibly the WWFs most unique venue ever. Too bad it didn't last. But these days, all venues AND arenas look the same. Long live the Golden Age! Long live the Attitude Era! Long live WWF AND WCW! Lest we forget where WCW started... the NWA!
Yeah, the fact MSG got rid of that center screen entryway has ruined it as a wrestling venue because now it just looks like any other generic arena. I'm sure the knicks sell more tickets now, but at what cost? WWE seemed to boycott then for years because of it lol But yeah. WCW doing outdoor nitros was always really cool to me, it was a completely unique look that WWF never really did anything remotely like it. I also liked the nitro at the georgia dome because of how silly it looked with a gigantic stadium with the tiny little nitro set in it. It looked pretty cool despite the silliness
I always thought a Wrestlemania at Disney with the Magic Castle as the stage would be amazing. The amount of effects they can project on it now a days is incredible. Also the fire works and entrances would be so damn unique. No creativity on wrestling anymore tho!
If I ever had a chance go to beach brawl ,club La Vela ,or Rockin ranger at sea….. I’m going dripped out and lookin like a million bucks, at a wrestling event and find me a baddie.
First time I’ve seen you mention AEW. Not sure if you are a fan but curios to see if you plan on checking out the new fight forever game made by yukes with the old AKI engine?
@@NikateeN Good deal. Keep up the good work I enjoy all of the classic wrestling nostalgia on your channel. Looking forward to all your future content.
I'm not sure what's worse: being shot at by terrorists in an illegal war overseas or having to watch Ruthless Aggression era wrestling. I'd hate to do both at the same time lol
@@NikateeN well, it wasn't really for me, too much silly stuff. Some good action here and there but overall forgettable. Glad I got this with my FITE points, saved me 20 bucks.

There's an amazing venue in Japan that has a massive stained glass window that makes everything look so epic
I’m going to look into that!

The Jeri-Cruise!
Please touch grass.
All the WCW ones are cool, I watched WCW religiously in the late 90's as well and did not know about the mtv shows.
Beach Brawl and snowbrawl I watched live on MTV. The 90s Wrestling BOOM was awesome

I think FMW once did a match in a jungle. It was just one match though, so it wouldn't be eligible for the list. Still, an odd venue (for one match.😂)
Wrestling ring mk3 subway style looks like fun

I can now see why the developers of WCW Nitro & Thunder added those goofy arenas to the game
Also, In Your House for PS1 and Saturn. That one featured rings in some strange locations.
My brother talked me into going on the first Jericho Cruise and it was one of the best things I have ever done. If I had the money I'd go every year.
Nice list! I remember the Nitros from the Club and from MGM.
I am not sure if it was televised but WWF show from Wall Street, when they went public, looked cool af

WWE should really consider holding a Summerslam at a beach venue!
Yeah, I’m not sure why they haven’t. Especially in the 90s, it would seem like something they would have done.
I just like venues that have sunlight without a roof. It's how the shows used to be 100 years ago
I was hoping you’d talk about Shotgun Saturday Night…great video!

Mind if I say it?
This should be Interesting
I think that WWE"s crown jewel PLE deserves a mention just because it happens to take place in Saudi Arabia each year.
Spoiler: Backstage Assault is #1
Could you do a video about Wrestle Kingdom 2 for the ps2? 🙏
