Wii U had some great games. Sad that Nintendo made such weird/bad decisions when making the console. I'm glad a lot of these amazing games are getting the love they deserve and a new life on the switch though.
The Wii U is my favorite Nintendo console, even above Switch. It might take a while to be sufficiently appreciated, but having such incredible games, full backwards comparability with Wii including a built-in sensor bar on the game pad, and access to GBA and DS games makes it the best, in my opinion. Nintendo’s greatest asset is their willingness to innovate around really imaginative ideas, and that’s on full display here. Poor sales and people continuing to complain today about “misguided” design choices convince me that this console was incredibly ahead of its time. Hopefully more people realize how incredible this thing is but if not, at least I’ll still have my favorite console and a ton of awesome games to play with my friends.

Dungeons and Dragons, the 2 games Arcade compilation it's a Wii U exclusive and it has online features. Two wonderful games, specially Shadow over Mystara.
Yoshi's woolly world is basically yoshi's crafted world, twilight princess and wind waker are both remakes, and both splatoon and mario maker also each have sequels on the switch that could scratch the itch
wind waker and twilight princess hd not being ported to the switch makes no sense considering skyward sword hd was ported..hopefully by this christmas 2024
Nintendo messed up big time with the Wii U. If they had matched the PS4 and Xbox One Specs and put a better name and a better marketing campaign, it would have done well.
Nintendoland alone makes the Wii u extremely underrated.

Who would have thought that Splatoon is originally a WiiU game and up until Christmas 2022 the first Splatoon is still a WiiU exclusive.
Because Splatoon 2 was better in every way and also made better on Switch, thus this game taking an unnecessary spot on the list.

Xeno X is that unbelievable. It's clunky and faulty yet the best of its kind by such a margin. It even has some of the best (and worst) OST out there.
