Just finished my first class after procrastinating it forever. I walked in and as I was signing a waiver they put my go on a table right next to a purple belt. I ended up taking the belt on accident and putting it on. What a start.
First class ever in a Gi (after trial class in plainclothes) and everyone lines up around the mat. As I'm fussing with my belt tying I lined up next to the blackbelts, = got paraded around back to the white belts, oops

*UPDATED 9/11/2022* Its been 9 months since ive commented on this video, still at it. BJJ 3-4 times a week. Today marks the day of my first tournament im competing in!! Literally just got home from my first class. IF YOU are a procrastinator and/or are nervous to get started. Just go, everyone is so damn friendly and welcoming. Right away everyone welcome me with open arms, jumped right into the warm up routines with shrimping and rolling. Spent some time learning a single leg take down, and a couple of open guard submissions, utilizing the Gi. End of the class I was introduced to “rolling” I was told to pair up and to “survive”. I felt like I did alright lol. Can’t wait to continue going back, keep up the videos. Definitely helped me for my first day. Cheers.
@@benharrold8467 I looked this up recently because I had the same question. Some schools will allow you to take a trial class without a gi, but others require you to wear (buy) a gi.
I started at the age of 47 ,been training for 4 years and was really surprised at how helpful everyone was at my school . Don’t wait to start do it now. Everyone is different in their ability and fitness, don’t worry about it, you will learn from other students. If you have kids get them into it as soon as they’re old enough to learn. Jui jitsu is the best way to de stress, it’s character building and very humbling as well as being a really good workout.
This comment sealed the deal. I’m in. I’ve been wanting to get my 11 year old son going and it occurred to me that this may be exactly what I need, too! I’m 48.
I've been doing Jiu Jitsu for about 9 years since I was 19. Four days a week with very rare three or five, maybe even six full days of training, 2 - 3 hours a day. I compete four times a year. Here's some things you have to know before you COMMIT to a dojo. #1 Unless u train 6 days a week, 6 hours a day, or unless ur gifted and talented, ur not getting that black belt in 6 years like some internet sites say u will... It took me 7 years to get my purple belt, and it's not cus I'm slow or non-athletic, I would actually consider myself above average, and a decent player, I do well. If u see a gym with alot of students who got their purple belts in three years, leave. I can understand if ur gifted, if ur this amazing beginner that's just kicking ass, yeah, you deserve the ranking, but then ur a rarity, u don't want a gym that gives out candy man... Chase the skill, not the belt color. #2 Training twice a week is nothing... Three days a week is honestly like the bare minimum, if ur not training that, then ur wasting ur time, put in extra hours, do the work, find a gym that can work with ur schedule, believe me on that. #3 It's normal if u still suck after one year... One year ain't jack shit, I get so many people that feel like they're not getting it after only one year (and by that, I mean they continue to lose to the higher ranks), keep training and learn proper technique, at my gym, it takes the average person two years before u get ur blue belt and maybe three to five years afterwards to get ur purple, from then on, Master Cyborg sort of keeps an eye on u during each seminar, and OMG is he tough on u man, he's blunt, he's brutal about ur sloppy technique, but trust me, it's good for u. Gotta be honest tho, Blue sucks more than white, cus then u got a target on ur back, and u feel like u gotta prove urself all the time. Purple is alot more fun as it should be. #4 If ur serious about Jiu Jitsu, then u gotta go up against the people ur afraid of. U know those guys that kick ur ass every single day, keep training with them, ask them questions, try not to lose, but don't let losing get to u. Don't just try to win, try to learn man. Me being in the Ultra Heavyweight, I've always had no choice but to go up against big guys, we've had high ranking big people and low ranking big people, and trust me, they're always more difficult than the smaller opponents. Those black belt ultra heavyweights man, jeeeeeezus, they're insanely scary. I get alot of people that avoid us, but sometimes, I do have to force students to go up against me and some of the other larger students, not for us, but for them. Not all of ur opponents are gonna be ur size, remember that, and whatever u can do to a large opponent, u can do to a little one. #5 You gotta shop around, I cannot stress this enough, you have to find a dojo that meets ur wants. Just my opinion, find a gym that incorporates good wrestling and is open to all submissions, even the unorthodox ones, and get into a dojo where yes, opponents are gonna be rough with u, now there is a difference between malicious and rough, a dojo that babies you too much, is probably not good for you if ur serious about learning how to defend yourself or competition, but hey if it's just a gentle hobby u want, then go for the gym that'll take excessive care of you, also be aware of the gyms that have fake black belts, check with other gyms, ask questions, good instructors will answer you, as they have more experience in the Fighting community and will more than likely know almost everyone, even in bigger cities.
Thanks, very helpful. I was in a bjj class for a year or so when i was around 11, i just turned 16 and really trying to find a place to train at again, it was pretty fun and i miss it lol, the video and your tips helped me get back into the mindset a bit and im looking forward to getting back into a class
Great points. However, I think this is very dependent on what you are seeking to gain from BJJ. In my opinion, the above comment is more directed towards those who train to be competitors. There are many whom train more as hobbyists, rather than train with the intent to compete. This may apply more specifically to those older in age and would prefer to play it "safe" with their training methods to avoid possible injuries. Regardless, everyone who sticks with it will improve over time and everyone will acquire improvements in their life from the benefits of BJJ. Train smart!
Isaac Crimmins sometimes you got to travel for what you want homie. I wanted to become a serious lifter and all I had was cheap gyms around me. I drove 30 minutes faithfully to my buddy’s strongman gym to get the results I was seeking. Don’t be scared of the travel. If you have no transportation then check them out. Why not. If they are not your speed then there are many ways to train for bjj. There are plenty of gym programs that will prepare you for certain skills you will need in bjj. Such as grip strength , core , etc.
im just starting jiu jitsu but what i have found most importand in my years of combat sports is that if you wish to learn YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR PRIDE OUTSIDE
I just started my 1st class today at Renzo Gracie in NJ, I was super concerned about feeling dumb and looking stupid, but everyone was very kind and really helpful
Fun fact : I’m from one of the original Gracie schools here in rio, brazil And the most valuable thing any jj practitioner should know is that the hips are everything, they are what makes good scapes and they really dictate those “scramble” moments ( the shrimp crawl is called “rolling of the hips” in Portuguese here in Brazil , that’s just to show how important hips are)
Yoga helps. I was raised on Yoga, and having extremely flexible hips gave me a definitive edge over the other beginners. My rubber guard developed fast due to this fact as well. I can’t agree more
At 54 years old I want to learn the basics of jujitsu. I have no martial arts training of any form. This video was by far the most informative I’ve seen! Thank you for your time and for posting this.
Do not try and learn from videos if you are not actually training at a gym…all you are doing is giving yourself a false sense of security…It’s the equivalent of going to a gunfight without bullets. Go get real training, nobody is going out of their way to hurt someone who is 56 and there are plenty of people training all the way up to their 70’s….that’s the beauty of BJJ, it’s pretty low impact.
35 and out of shape. First class was this morning. I was very nervous. Everyone there made it easy by keeping things simple. Didn’t really “fight” me just taught me some positions and moves, including the fall, get up, and shrimp in this video. I think I found a new hobby.
Are you still going? I'm 39, not in great shape (but at least not over-weight, so it's not like I need a huge diet before I can start) and I'm considering starting this. How often do you go? I guess one concern I have is that I'd have to train at least three times a week. But I've also got other hobbies and that's not gonna be possible...
@@Ezechielpitau I strained an oblique shortly after posting this so I've been resting it. Going back tomorrow night! I had been going twice a week... Once to a beginners class and once to open mat. I'm planning on pulling back to once/week. Enough to learn and stay motivated but not enough to prepare for tournaments, which I care nothing about. If you're just looking for a psychological edge and development of basic fundamentals once/week is enough.
Just got done with my first class. I feel so silly for being nervous before going in. The instructors know how uncomfortable it can be to start a new class. I guarantee you, they will help you more than you’re expecting. Their expectations for you are pretty much 0 so don’t be afraid to mess up.
Same here I’m about 5 classes in now and with the work schedule I have I really can only make the advanced classes which is very overwhelming. We all have to start somewhere. Tho so fuck it lol.
Love jiujitsu take it away is like taking one of my kids . This art took me from a young street punk to a respectable man . Also made me a better father son husband friend ect . The thing im most thankful for from jiujitsu is it made me cross paths with ppl i normally wouldnt .Those same ppl took me in like they knew me all my life .
Second day of training, I need to get used to the soreness and dealing with pressure on the body. Workout is amazing. I’m learning a lot and taking it day by day.
Had my first jits class last night and got crushed by 140kg dude and I'm 118kg, I loved every second of it. I hobbled out of class and I'm looking forward to the next one. 42 years old here. Lookin to get down to 90kg again through jiujitsu. Thank you for the video it was very helpful. Cheers from Tassie Australia.
This is so humbling. I'm 45 years old, and just attending my first Jiu jitsu class ever. I'm weak, have had a bunch of surgeries, and have so much to learn. It's intimidating and overwhelming, but I think that's part of the reason why I should do this.
Thank you so much for this. Taking my first class on Monday at the age of 55 after recovering from severe covid and looking forward to it. This was really helpful and I'll be practicing some of the movements before hand.
@@whereverismia It was fun very freindly class. Unfortunately injured my ribs on the first lesson rolling (sparring) ,pushed myself too hard, so have to wait for that to heal before going back. Hope you enjoy it.
had my first class before knowing anything about it and gotta say, they didnt explain any of this to me I just got made to follow along with the rest of the class and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Everyone was very nice to me, but I felt extremely overwhelmed and a little bit stupid. It's a lot of information to take in, but you know what? It was still a lot of fun so I think I'm just gonna be that slow kid in the class who cant do anything right and keep trying until i get at least something right.
I’m a bit late, but I have my very first class on Saturday, granted it’s the free trial class, but I’m doing everything I can to ensure that I can continue with practicing jujitsu. I am very excited to actually begin the journey, this video is very insightful loaded with good information, I feel a bit more confident knowing some baseline information. I’ve been watching jujitsu competitions, and jujitsu techniques for a long time, and now it’s time to finally be able to get started!
Very helpful. I used to train when I was a kid a got out as I got older. A million different distractions. I’m ready to get back into and so is my wife and our daughter is really excited about starting! She LOVES to wrestle and “play the beat up game.” This was definitely a great refresher as I remember a lot but have forgotten the basics, which is the key. Thanks for these type of videos.
I been trying to find a martial arts to join for a few weeks now and after watching endless videos on different ones I think I am finally convinced to join BJJ! Thank you for the info and putting me a little more at ease
I feel like him gives the most inmidiet reward , when you are learning the technique you will feel it when it's done right while other martial arts that focus on striking can only get you that confirmation once you spar with some one
Iv been practicing for 8 years and anyone who is nervous about starting your not alone everyone Iv asked has always said they were nervous for their first class but I promise you the nerves will be gone after the first week. Every school Iv been to every one is really nice and if there are gym bullies they are usually kicked out within the first week higher belts do not take that lightly so don’t be worried about getting killed every one will be friendly. And remember tap the second you feel pressure don’t wait for tunnel vision that’s how you get hurt or pass out.
@@teawithc8303 I received my first stripe on my white belt in June. I go as often as I can, but that averages around 3-4 times a week. I freaking love it and wish I had started years ago!

Thank u so much for that. I am 49 yrs young I just came out of a 20 year battle with poor physical & mental health. I have wanted to take it up for so long. The only thing that might be a problem is I may need to have a canvas tent & 2 belts connected together there is a lot of me. Can't wait to get gp all clear now.
The "osu" sound made in Japanese martial arts is a verbal acknowledgement that you have heard and understood when given an instruction. So it's usually made by a student to an instructor after they have told them to do something. You have exactly the same thing in the military when a drill instructor gives an order. A standard verbal acknowledgement is required. Something that you could have included in an introduction video is that after your first class, if you are not used to this sort of activity then you are likely to feel very stiff and sore the next morning. This is perfectly normal, will be a lot less after even just a second class and quickly goes away altogether.
I had my first day today! It was an open mat i was invited by a friend. I think the most important thing for me now Is to learn how to breathe properly. I was going exhausted and very quickly. I am very excited for this new adventure learning Ninjutsu .Thank you for your instruction it was very informative!
In our dojo we're actually really traditional, we call our teachers "Sensei", we do bow on/off the mat, and before/after randori. (I am from Canada). I think your tip for "When in Rome do as the Romans" is a great tip, actually most of them are, keep up the great work!
I just had my 1st class last night, I ended up watching Rener Gracie's belt tutorial. I felt like such a Noob, but very glad I went, tonight will be a Fundamentals class. Looking forward to the journey, currently 48yrs old, glad to see I wasn't the only older fellow in class.
Brilliant. I've come from a krav maga background and now training in bjj. Just done around 5 classes and it's almost like i have to unlearn aome of my training. That to one side BJJ is a lot more complex than i thought, but I can see why it is so effective and this video just irons out those "silly"questions got don't want to ask in class. Thank you
Thanks for this video! I had my first two classes before watching this. The most uncomfortable part was not knowing the class flow or what any of the terminologies were. The handshake style and clap after instruction were all new to me. As well as lining up in order of belt rank to start the class. I look forward to many years to come of bjj.
After a few very bad experiences with Jiu Jitsu a couple of years ago....I had fear and anxiety to get back into it....mind you I only took no more than 10 classes prior and rolling right away (UFC Gym)...I recently build up the courage to look into one locally....AND let me tell you...what an experience going to a professional academy...taking the fundamentals now and feel super comfortable....so many thoughts and heart raising....but it turn out to be ok...starting with 2 classes per week.....leave the ego behind and just enjoy the art
This was great. Thank you. My first class(es), I joined the group "already in progress." I had to mimic. I really appreciate this "basics" video. Please make more. This was my first video on your channel so you might have dozens or hundreds more 'basics' videos. Great channel. Thanks again.

@@Danny-ux1bv yea I’ve been there for about 2 weeks. Honestly it’s fun and I’m not that nervous after a while. You’ll learn and the people there should be nice
thanks guys, this really helped. I joined a gym just this week that, unfortunately, does not have a fundamentals course. I drilled these exercises for like...15 reps per day per side for just a few days before going to the first class and... it really helped. If yay'll didn't have this up I would've been really, really lost. ...Especially rolling, but damn did I get dizzy after front rolling across the whole floor, but I could do it thanks to watching this.
Aaahh I loved this. I haven’t rolled in years but going back this coming week…. So thanks for brushing off the old cobwebs and familiarising me with the etiquette.
Thanks so much great tips just got back from my first class and got smashed . It was a nice kind of smashed though felt like every mussel was used can’t wait to go back . Keep sending tips as I need it 56 years old and still so much to learn and do
Super good my six positions that I teach at first is mount, cross body, the guard, crab, shell, & standing. I still work on Half guard, and when I get to purple I really start working on there’s north-south stuff and what I do is I work on their take downs in the throws. So what I do is I have about 36 to maybe 60 techniques and white belt I try to do about six or so techniques from every position. When they get to the next rank which is blue I have them work on the opposite of everything from that position so it’s the guy that’s in cross body on the bottom it’s the guy in the guard on top stuff like that. Then on the shrimping I do that that’s very important but I also do butt scooting and I do everything from cartwheels to round off the back falling and different kinds of rolling! Yeah and my ruling is exactly like yours except for my back was a little bit different I do that do another way, and I just want to say thanks for being a great instructor brother my instructor is Professor Pedro Sauer:)
One thing about rolling forward also I make sure my guys actually term because I teach is a self-defense thinking because when they get thrown or they get rolling like that they should turn around and face their attacker
Something I'm interested in is...well. I've boxed, wrestle "roman", and done Tai Kwondo. BJJ is so respected, but too me it just seems so un-orthidox. People say wresting isn't as good as ju jitsu, and I wont argue since plenty of UFC and MMA fighter use the style. COuld you tell me why this is true for you, since your an actual instructor and I've only done more straight forward combat sports.
I've always wanted to do Jiu Jistu I've had a natural feel and love for combat sports and I hope of being a pro wrestler and I know Jiu Jistu is a brilliant way to help get used to things like transitional holds, bumps, and basic footwork
Cool video. Heard a bunch of guys talking about how the warmup and the class will be one of the hardest things most people will have done physically. I would encourage people to spend, at minimum, the month before their first class getting the body ready. I feel like I alleviated some of that shock to the system focusing on functional movements: kettlebell swings, Turkish get-ups, goblet squats etc. I think it really helped me as I move through my first month here in BJJ.
This video was made 3yrs ago but here I am. 😂 First class is tomorrow evening and I’m very nervous. I’m hoping it goes well. EDIT: Been doing it for 3 weeks now and absolutely love it already. I shouldn’t have been as nervous as I was and it was intimidating at first. Anyone who wants to try it out should. I recommend it! It’s so fun but may be scary at first. :)
Yes basic fundamentals for ground fighting or jujitsu. I haven't heard that called thread the needle but we've done it in catch wrestling it does come in handy .keep it up .
I have been putting off martial arts since i was a kid. About 15 years now since it started becoming clear that i should join. Finally made an appointment and going in tomorrow.
I know you’re in the gym, but something about this lighting makes it look like a green screen hahaha, thank you for the video! I’m looking into martial arts and i’m very excited to start
Thanks. I wish I watched this yesterday... BEFORE my first class, cuz on the front roll I forgot to go towards the side and felt my neck kind of crunch as I rolled straight over it. I didn't let on how painful it was cuz I was the only female there... didn't want to look like a wimp lol. Was in pretty bad pain all night and today but I think it's just a sprain or strain (more of a whiplash), but man I'm so angry at myself for not focusing. I'm going back today (won't be doing any front or back rolls till my neck heals), but what a great lesson that I have to focus. Thanks for the awesome tips!
Love the video!! My first class, I was very nervous but I knew a little of what to expect because I observed a class already. The instructors were great (Garrett and Scott)!! They would demonstrate a technique and when the class would work on that technique, they would come over and explain the technique and why it exists and answer any questions I had about it. After the class, Garrett stuck around for a while and answered any questions I had about the school, the curriculum, rolling, etiquette, etc. Totally put me at ease about training there. Still got nervous about looking dumb though. :)
I am very happy to find that the place I just started with is giving the exact same instruction as you are. It feels very consistent across the discipline.
At 60 years old, I had my first class this morning with some dedicated practitioners (6 AM class). They went easy on me and were incredibly nice folks...who could have killed me in seconds.
Im a teakwando blackbelt and i also did boxing one year now i am a bjj yellow belt and before i thought bjj was laying on the ground and it was very easy but bjj is really helpful for mma or yust fighting
My first class is tonight. I’ve been meaning to do this for so long and turns out my college offers free classes so I said screw it im going. Thank you guys for making me feel more confident going in. I’ll be back for updates
@@gracieohio just got back from the class it was awesome. I learned the full guard, half guard, mount, and side control. I struggled a bit with rolling backwards and also felt pretty weird when I was rolling with people. I didn’t really feel like I knew what was going on but I embraced it. I’m going to keep going once a week!!
Tonight was my first class. And since leaving class I’ve found myself frustrated in trying to memorize “do I do this before that or vice versa”. Seems like there’s a lot to memorize.
I've been doing boxing for years but have been on the fence about BJJ for a while. Your summary is excellent for a novice like me. I'm going to go to my first class this month!
Even though this video seems to be made quite a bit ago, I can say this was supremely helpful. Not only that but it was FUN to watch. You can tell you really love your art and very humble people. Makes me wish I lived closer so I could study there. Thank you for the overview!!
thank you for this tutorial. You are very generous to share openly any portion of your craft despite living in a commercial society. I like your attitudes about respecting the virtues of other communities you visit, and also I don't know the "correct" way of tying a gi belt but I see many advantages in your technique(primarily those that avoid a not "digging" into the body.) I will likely tie such a belt in this manner until further notice. Everything matters.
Oh and also I meant to express appreciation for choosing this subject of acclimation for a tutorial. Some of these guidance can no doubt play a crucial role in giving a newcomer confidence in the decision to even just visit a training center.
I just started also. And I just turned 53. My very first classes I felt went really well. Only problem is that some of the guys I’m rolling with are quite big and also white belts and there isn’t a lot of control going on so I’m getting smashed pretty good. I leave with a sore back and it takes me several days to recover. I do a lot of core work on my own and so I anticipate this continuing to be a problem unless I figure out what I’m doing wrong. I think maybe I am trying to use too much strength to get out of problems and may be causing the pain myself.
Kudos to you! I started 3 years ago at age 40. Had to lose a ton of weight and now just really starting to understand the fundamentals, but it's super fun when bigger newbies come in who are half your age, and you can keep them off you and work all sorts of submissions. The surprised look on their faces as a smaller older person manhandles them is priceless...THIS STUFF WORKS! Just listen to your body, eat and sleep right, roll intelligently, and never never quit. Good luck!
I've wanted to start for a couple of years and always thought it wasn't for me and made excuses. Really it was just nerves and worried about being embarrased. This week I've done 2 classes and now I'm so glad I went. It's a must do and no one should be worried as I imagine all academies are as friendly as the one I went to.
The same thing has happened to me. I’ve been interested since I was in high school but always had an excuse on why I couldn’t start. Most of which were because of the nerves, but now I’m almost finished college and I’m looking to start in about a week.
@@user-nq4hw5eb9d its amazing. I broke my finger 3 months ago though and haven't been able to go back since. Just after I bought myself a Gi. I'm gutted. Hopefully soon.

I signed my 10 year old up and hes been going about a month. Hes having a blast, i was even approached by his instructor that he wanted to get him into private lessons to hone in on his quick aggression and give him structure to really advance with some of his other higher level students. Only thing is now that ive been taking him, all i do is watch him and the adults rolling. Now i want in. I dabbled a very long time ago and it was fun, now that im older and not so nimble (to say the least, mid 30s can be rough) i do get a little nervous of the thought. But if my little dude can do it, id like to show him that his ol dad can as well.

Everyone is different in their ability and fitness, don’t worry about it, you will learn from other students. If you have kids get them into it as soon as they’re old enough to learn. Jui jitsu is the best way to de stress, it’s character building and very humbling as well as being a really good workout.
thank you, I’m 50 and am still a little hesitant
This comment sealed the deal. I’m in. I’ve been wanting to get my 11 year old son going and it occurred to me that this may be exactly what I need, too! I’m 48.

Awesome! I did my first class last night at age 47. Loved it. Can’t wait to learn and grow

Super informative thanks
What if you only have 1 gym in your area? Just take it or leave it I assume
HALLELUYAH, thank you sir!
Lol I'm hearing this alot
I just started my 1st class today at Renzo Gracie in NJ, I was super concerned about feeling dumb and looking stupid, but everyone was very kind and really helpful
Awesome! Stick with it!
I'm actually looking to go to Gracie's gym also. How has it been so far?
Fun fact : I’m from one of the original Gracie schools here in rio, brazil
And the most valuable thing any jj practitioner should know is that the hips are everything, they are what makes good scapes and they really dictate those “scramble” moments
( the shrimp crawl is called “rolling of the hips” in Portuguese here in Brazil , that’s just to show how important hips are)

Did my first class last night and took as much of these lessons as I could with me, good call on practicing the shrimp crawl before the class.

Taking my first bjj class next week and I just turned 34, it’s never too late.. can’t wait, I’ve always wanted to train bjj and I’m finally doing it..
Best introduction online! You may have finally swayed me to get to a beginners class...
Can u say where in Canada I was hoping to start bjj soon
@@gamerlover9898 I’m in Nova Scotia :)
We say "Professor" in Northwest Indiana and bow upon entering and leaving mat. "Sensei" is mostly used in Karate or TKD.

How is it going for you now?

Got my first class in the New Year. Wanted to do some research before turning up. Thanks for the info.
I've always wanted to do Jiu Jistu I've had a natural feel and love for combat sports and I hope of being a pro wrestler and I know Jiu Jistu is a brilliant way to help get used to things like transitional holds, bumps, and basic footwork
Finished my second class last night and your video helped a lot. Thanks!
Yup! The soreness I experienced after my 1st class, I wouldnt wish on anybody. Gotta work out often.

This has to be the most wholesome and on-point video on BJJ I've seen
thank you for this tutorial.
Loved this video! What a great teacher… looks like such a nice guy also :)
Just had my first class and I was wonderfully humbled the coach was great and today I'm sore can't wait to go back and get humbled some more!
My first class is this week. 43 years old. I'm nervous and excited as well

Yeah the belt tie at my first class was way more convoluted than that. Thanks for the video though. I experienced a lot of the same things.
Thank you so very very much for that introduction! I have just listened to a brilliant pod cast with Lewis howes interviewing Rener Gracie, he has written a book called 32 principles of Jim jitsu. It got me really interested. Thing is I am a 66 year old female and wonder if this is a barrier! Its really good to see the moves you use.
Cool video- always great content! My first class consisted of everyone sizing me up then choking the snot out of me- good times.
Rojoification R thanks!
Really helpful video! Thank you. You guys are actually only an hour away from where I live. Looking forward to hopefully meeting in person sometime soon!
Outstanding video... well done. Humble, welcoming, and informative! Wish I lived in Ohio and would love to visit your academy.
Kevin Stillman welcome anytime! Thank you for the kind words.
Well wish me luck! Going to a new Gracie Barra gym tonight for my first practice. I’ve kickboxed before so I don’t know why I’m so nervous but at 47 it’s something I want to try… at least once!
Good luck! You’re gonna love it!
My first class starts in 20 minutes and I'm literally sitting in the car watching this video mid anxiety attack 😂😂
We need Updates!!!
2nd class tomorrow! Wish i watched this but holy crap what an amazingly informative video. And your personalities shine through!
Go for it!
