Not just her thighs but all of her is the Crusades' most powerful "weapon" She is one of the most powerful Human Light-wielding priests in recent memory (to the point that she could rez HERSELF from death). Her personality inspires both dread and awe. and her body causes those under her to lust for her, and therefor want to both serve and protect her. Sally Whitemane IS the face of the Scarlet Crusade. Or was, until blizzard decided that we cannot have nice things and had her killed then turned undead.

I get that the Ashbringer is strong, and Lights Wrath is impressive but neither match the sheer strength and power of Whitemane’s thighs.
They are also one of the best recruiting tools available to them.

The Scarlet Crusade is always so cool. It’s an amazing concept that The Light is able to be used by such fanatics.
My favourite piece of lore about the Light is that it will more or less work for the user so long as they believe what they're doing is righteous; regardless of how heinous their actions actually are.

Today I have no idea If this is even canon anymore since they seem to retcon the lore every time Danuser gets a genocide boner for Sylvanas.
But a concept I thought was interesting about how the light worked was that it only worked if you truly thought your cause and actions were righteous. Arthas canonicaly lost his connection to the light after stratholme since he started to doubt his actions after being forced to kill his own people.
Which makes the scarlet crusade more interesting since all of them despite their heinous actions truly believes without a doubt what they are doing is for the greater good and their actions are righteous.
It is a cool concept of how a demon managed to twist a force of good into a weapon of evil by exploiting their faith in the light and their burning desire to do good things to save their homeland from the undead.
Why is no one talking about the AWESOME work with animation done here?

Scarlet Crusade was so cool as a minor but serious threat. It's funny how bosses with one or two lines of dialogue will be remembered more than J'Lor years from now

I think it works to their advantage that they didn't have the spotlight shone on them for too long. Any more time and Blizz would have found the way to ruin or plot-twist them to ridiculousness.

Madness is doing the same thing over and over and expect different results.
I think one of the greatest achievements of Legion was the artifacts and the lore behind them, Blizzard managed to make over twenty new weapons of power with fleshed out backgrounds, conceivable plots and story threads that added to the game rather than taking away from it.
Of course some of the artifacts were already pre-established relics but so many more were added and developed to the point where you felt like you was using artifacts of the past, items of untold power and potential. Very few classes felt like they got the short end of the stick when it came to the weapons.
There are way too many "Why haven't we heard of these before?" artifacts. I can see the DH ones and Xal'atalth being unknown until Legion because they're supposed to be alien/super-secret, but like, Light's Wrath borders on not knowing you live next door to a nuclear test site. Sadly, other than Ashbringer, Scythe of Elune, Doomhammer, Knifu, and a couple of others, they only really existed for a single patch (because there just wasn't enough of a story to keep you emotionally invested for the two years you had the weapon, and only a couple had memorable interactions).
Too be honest most of the background was in texts and not experienced....not everyone enjoys reading 30 pages of in-game lore
In my opinion, most of the powerful and awesome artifacts lose their value and story when they are given to player characters. It works for single player games, but MMO games the power and value of the artifacts kind of feels watered down. I like the idea of discovering and/or retrieving a powerful artifact, but wielding it as a player character is not that good idea lore wise. When Ashbringer was returned in WOTLK it was a good choice to give it a story character to be wielded when thinking the lore behind it. And yes, Corrupted Ashbringer was an epic loot in vanilla wow.
@@aaabee5687 That was kind of my opinion, too. They should have been powerful to justify us getting them, but not be the major lore weapons like Doomhammer and Ashbringer. Xal'atath and Aluneth were the perfect examples of how they should haven been done: very memorable interactions while not being super-consequential to pre-existing lore. Blizz learned long ago that the OG megaweapons shouldn't have gone to players (Frostmourne and the like) because things like Gorehowl and Ashkandi being random raid drops really took away from the story of the weapon.

Most times to be succesful you just need to try a lot
The problem is they fighting against players which is stronger than literaly everthing in warcraft universe .
Thats literally how all Fanatics depicted, they have purpose and they didn't pick their mean, they are not bounded by law, morals or ethics.
Basically a terrorist, you fear them even if they small in number.
They are the remnant of an entire kingdom, which probably helped.
They are a saturday cartoon villain at this point.
To be honest it’s similar to the Arcane mage staff, minus the fact Light’s wrath isn’t sentient. Also a perfect weapon for crazy fanatical people, that are willing to be martyrs for their cause.
Man I love the Scarlet Crusade. There can be so much more with this faction, I sure hope they come back with a vengeance.

Scarlet crusade will always be a great faction to cover, and definitely can't wait for them to potentially be brought back into events.
Be careful what you wish for. If they brought them back it would probably be a poor execution that spits and ruins any pre existing lore.

Scarlet Crusade content is always interesting. They themselves are interesting because they symbolize desperate people, using desperate (and sometimes pretty unethical) methods to overcome race-extinction events. They are like (a failed) Inquisition from Warhammer and would definately fit in there more than WoW's universe and theme.
The past few weeks have been absolute shit for me, your videos make everything seem alright, please keep doing what you do! you're a true gift!

This was my favourite artifact in legion. I hated PVP and the mage tower but I ground out all the variations.

Scarlet Crusade is super underrated, too bad they’re up against the Player Character
HEY NOW. Dark riders are cool and I wish they used them more. Imagine a revamped classic+ where if you were wielding certain weapons there was a random chance outside of core faction territories a dark rider would spawn and begin to hunt you. Alone you stand no chance. A 5 man party stands no chance. You either must get enough people for a 40 man raid to defeat it (for random epic loot drops) or just run until it despawns.

Wait, so that means that if Balnazzar hadn't stopped and corrupted the ritual in Time, then Light's wrath would have been a LOT more deadly?, Just think about it, twice the power that the corrupted one had BUT it doesn't make you a living bomb, that honestly sounds like a horrifying weapon. And hell, with that the Scarlet Crusade would have crushed the scourge, forsaken and anyone who stood in their path with Little to no problem.... Honestly, i Wonder how the story would have changed with a pure light's wrath in the hand of the Crusade.

Ive been through your best of wow Playlist multiple times now. I'm a new ff14 player and have been wanting to know more about wow's story since its my main reason to play ff14, and I've really loved listening to your videos while playing through the MSQ! One thing I'd love to see from your channel if you want to do a vid about it is the rest of the story about wow's worst King! I was on the edge of my seat at the end of part 2 and I desperately wanna know more in the way you describe it! These scarlet crusade videos have been really great too, your editing gives it such Palpable character that other lore vids just don't hit the same.
