  • Sorry for the messy conglomeration of poorly edited thoughts. If you can stick with it hopefully there are some unique points. I'm happy to add more or address comments in the comment section.

Insightful commentary. Exactly...Do not try to buy attention, love or respect. What's better than money?...retiring on my 55th birthday w/ happiness-stability....having rock-solid marriage for 35 years, eating well....sucessfully rebuilding my farm truck's 700R4 transmission on the picnic table for $240. alone. That said...I've got to get my 61 year old ex-engineer self...on over to the farm and get my exercise in. One thing I could add to you commentary....is having a personal relationship with God Our Father...money and/or materials-equipment comes Divinely. Nothing wrong with appreciating God and asking Him for help during our short stay here on Earth..."Keep the Faith" it moves mountains. Great to have you back Lorax....Big Fan of yours.

When I see ads from these people who have made so much money that they're just "living the life" I always think, if you have so much financial freedom, why are you spending so much time and effort trying to sell me one of your overpriced courses?

Yeah, you know I do notice a heavy focus on making money in self-help content in recent years. I really can’t tell if that’s me, or if things have changed to where that’s more of the focus for some reason. Perhaps I just gravitate towards such content.
OTOH I love the idea of earning a free, enjoyable, connected life without much money, but through other means. This seems like a healthy topic that should be promoted. God bless you.

I´m curious. How old are you now? I was watching one of your old videos on anger from like 16 years ago and another video on how you found freedom. What do you think happens when we die?

I’m 56 in a few days and started doing videos at age 38. Not certain about the form of an afterlife but generally believe/feel that conscious is conserved in some form and also that things are in balance. In short something like an afterlife and karma. I also suppose that too much focus on afterlife is a form of clinging to self-identification, so I try to focus on now although I fail at this as much as anyone probably.

Hi @@lorax2013 I've been watching your videos for 16 years. Yes I think you're right, but recently I think of religion as more a guiding pathway not to waste one's life on purposeless stuff, like greedily accumulating money; rather serving others. Rather than we're afraid of death or oblivion or punishment, which is often how it's seen by others. Certainly some are, but others; not.
