I agree with what you said. It's what I've always thought and you nailed it. Especially with diet. I have gone through quite a bit of issues not needing to bring them up I just want to talk about being 233 lbs at the most. From fast food and candy, pasta, pizza, TV dinners, processed food, now I've been on a completely whole food non processed diet for 100 days and I have lost 33 lbs. I am the best at 175 to 185 being 5'11" and 38 years. But the process of losing weight wasn't the point at all. It was to feel whole and alive. I bucked the school system my entire life, I hated everything they tried to put me through. I passed all the tests got fed up dropped out to explore life and counter culture literature philosophy, my own understanding of what life means to me, my own politics. Got my GED at 18, went to College, dropped out, now creating my purpose and livelihood myself
I just wanted to leave you a comment on another video. I saw that you made some Corona virus videos and I just wanted to say I was happy to see you make some videos again. Yours was one of the first channels many years ago that really changed my life and I was just happy to see your face again. take care your videos have been a tremendous help for me over the years and I've done very well because of them. keep beeming that wonderful heart and mind
Excellent video. Especially the part where you talk about asking what "life" do I want to have when I grow up. I'm reading the book "how I found freedom in an unfree world" Harry Browne, and that book ties into that question. This is a video to watch often..much wisdom in it.

I do 100% understand what you are stating and agree with you on the majority. However, there has been a huge shift in education. All change occurs at a pace determined by the individual and institution. Unfortunately, those individuals and institutions are dictated by resources. I would love for you to experience my school. I teach in the same high school that I graduated from 30 years ago. I have the perspective of the old educational system that you refer to, but also see the progressive work my colleges and I participate in daily. We do teach some the books you refer to. We do teach with the end in mind. We ask, beg, plead, push, cheer on our students daily to do the majority of thing you say education does not do. Could it be better? Of course, the answer is, yes! I just wanted you to know that if a school system in northern "backward thinking" Indiana is making great changes to the antiquated educational system, there is hope for this world!!! Please keep spreading your message, but please know there is great work being done to empower and truly educate the next generation. A perfect example will be when I share your video with my students and ask them to understand your perspective and ask them what they can learn from your wise words! Thank you so much!

Do you think that working with money/wealth is different in Finland considering that we've had the so called "luck constant"? Thanks, great video. I have never heard anyone talk like this before. I did not get on very well with the education system. But I don't feel my family were very good educators either. Actually living life is a great educator. Even the books you quote make their truths only accessible to the few cloaking their nuggets of truth ib 100's of pages when often their point could be put across in 10 bullet points as you have. The salesperson who has taken on board the philosophies of the books you mention uses the information against the common man. Some salespeople and advertisers are the worst of humanity. The IT industry has quickly figured out that university degrees are basically worthless. In an industry where knowledge has a very short shelf life, education that focuses on knowledge isn't particularly valuable, at least not for long.
