To everyone reading this in the year 2024. There was a massive Pokemon leak, and this cutscene now has an actual proper explanation. The egg is the egg of the god Aus, created out of cosmic nothing. It's shell cracked, and the pieces became titans. After a major battle, Aus was victorious. After the battle a wounded Aus would create two other gods, one of which was Ea. When Ea was born, time begun to flow. The diagram Arceus is standing on in the cutscene is actually an internal theology map of the pokemon world you can now look up. Each dot represents a pokemon, and their relationship to other deities (including Pseudo-Legendaries being confirmed to be special. Which was only a fan thing before now)
@@breakdanceinghobo It's beta content/concepts. This isn't internal lore or anything, it's just concepts for the region's story/mythos. What an epic way to deliver a baby. And since Dialga/Palkia/Giratina DID just hatch and are level 1, I think their size in the overworld when walking behind you might actually be accurate. Unfortunately, if the egg doesssn’t hatch into the mossst meta relevant one with perfect IVsss and the bessst nature for it, then it will be mercccilesssssly mutilated with a crowbar and flung off a cliff into a ssstormy sssea filled with jagged rocksss, to be impaled, drowned, devoured, bled out, exhausssted, or who knowsss what elssse.
@@justasplanned8023 Yeah, but not as big as they are supposed to be in scale. Since they are in chibi form, they appear much MUCH smaller than they actually are, like a head or two taller than you when they are supposed to be AT LEAST twice your full height (chibi wise that may be 3 or 4 heads idk).
Imagine seeing this cutscene for the first time as a 10 year old at midnight. You see the Unown show up, see the screen go black, and expect to just obtain your new Giratina and walk away. But then the drums kick in, and you see Arceus's face appearing and fading slowly, only his eye remaining on screen, before this repeats itself again, and then the music gets even more intense, as random photos of the REAL WORLD show up, with Arceus standing in the center of the screen, surrounded by circles. You try your best to not scream, knowing that this will wake up your parents, but inside, you scream in fear like you've seen the world ending right before you, even though you have essentially witnessed a world being created right before you. The next morning, your friends ask you why you're so tired, and you try to explain what you've seen, however you cannot prove anything. You're the only witness of that madness, and knowing nobody will believe your claims, you sit alone with your new Giratina, and together try to get some sleep and PTSD treatment.
This cutscene is so weird. It’s hard to interpret. It seems like Arceus is reminiscent of how it created the universe and is just now realizing that it has the power to destroy it if it needs to. It starts out with its eye glowing red, and then it flashes to all the beautiful creations of mankind. But then, the music changes and we switch to natural disasters. Hurricanes, volcanos, thunderstorms. Arceus then looks deep into human anatomy, and realizes how frail and weak humans are. Then, it looks at the galaxy as a whole. And then it looks at a smaller part of the galaxy. The black hole. A symbol of destruction across the universe. It then focuses on planet earth, and understands that it has the power to do what it needs to destroy humanity if need be. It has power over the creation trio, and as it has just learned, the power to create is also the power to destroy.
i am so glad i didn't see this as a kid, that would have scarred me for life, lol imagine being on your own in your room at night, maybe in bed and playing your fun pokemon game, and then this plays, jesus

hulk men I had a legit Arceus and I still have it to this day lmao. Since I live in Canada, I literally had to cross the border to a Buffalo Toys R Us to get it lol
I love this cutscene. Because depending on what you chose you are witness the creation of the embodiment of Time or Space or Antimatter. This is such a cool and creative way to show that grand of a concept.
Honestly I wish that instead of you needing to get arceus from a event than taking it here you should have been able to go here with the 3 sinoh box legendarys to play that cutscene and fight arceus
This is a reflection of how Arceus and his Creations created the universe. Arceus now uses the same power to create a newborn Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina.
In the beginning it was chaos From chaos an egg was formed When the chaos subsidies the egg hatches From the egg came AUS From the discarded shells came giants The Giants attacked the infant Aus, but he grew rapidly and killed them all From the bodies of two who resembled him the most he poured his blood and came the Light and Time From Light and Time came Eyes, Voice and Thought From Light and Time came Sky, Ground and Sea And from these three all life came to be Those that resemble the mother are called Pokemon Those that resemble the father are called humans From
Imagine this event being remastered in DP remake someday, showing us more magnificent jpegs from google such as black hole image from EHT, pale blue dot from voyager, DNA structure, or microscope image of COVID-19 in FHD resolution lmao
The whole chip and buildings bit, implies that technology and civilization - and by further extent war/conflict and progression, are all part of them making an egg with the cold, effortless stare is pretty nihilistic and dark for a children's game that starts off with you fighting rats and birds.
Funniest thing is, it starts with the Big Bang, then ends on cells, representing new life and creation. Which is exactly what is happening during the event.
This feels like the part of a movie when the bad guy is finally finished with his big plan and unleashes it onto the world, the ominous music also helps btw
This feels like somebody made this as a temporary animation to test things were working, but somebody else didn’t get the memo and used it in the full game anyway.
A reminder that these creatures we can stuff in little capsule balls are still eldritch entities who can be safely called "gods". And this one is the one with the capital G.
The plot of the Sinjoh Ruins basically boils down to Arceus taking their new favorite pet human to the ruins, giving them a history lessen and then giving them a baby god to take care of.
The image at 0:36 shows a highway with some cars on it. That means that unbeknownst to those people driving, they are technically the first real humans ever in a Pokémon game. We finally got some answers after so many years...
Which was only a fan thing before now)
None of that is even canon, it's unused concepts at best.
But...here it is in the game. Even if it is only internal, their internal lore is still canon.
@@breakdanceinghobo It's beta content/concepts. This isn't internal lore or anything, it's just concepts for the region's story/mythos. A lot of it is similar to what we have, but there's also a lot of contradictions, things missing, etc. Probably because this was made before D/P even released. That's why pokemon who are VERY important to this region like Giratina aren't even mentioned. Beta=/=Canon
@@smugcu3073 The mere fact they wrote all the pokesex in the first place is still really funny tho.
In case you people didn't get it, Aus is the early concept for Arceus. Ea is Palkia. Ia is Dialga.
What an epic way to deliver a baby.
And since Dialga/Palkia/Giratina DID just hatch and are level 1, I think their size in the overworld when walking behind you might actually be accurate.
I love the mental image of a baby creator god as tall as yourself walking around behind you among people and Pokémon.
(alssso 69th like)
How do you mean? Legendary Pokémon had big over world sprites in these games. They weren’t small
This was the first pokemon
The first anything..
It created everything
*and can easily take it all away*
Somebody put this cutscene in a spacecraft's data and send it to aliens. Have them discover the awe of what this is.
This is so cryptic*. Please bring this kind of shit back.
I think you mean cryptic
@@pastel_pink possibly as I am not a native english speaker 😅 i mix up the two
@@yopi_yopi oh shit, well you’re doing pretty well considering English is a really dumb language. Good on you for learning!
@@pastel_pink ahahaha thanks a lot 😅
@@yopi_yopi Hey
Can't believe Magikarp was part of the gods this entire time
The only time when pokemon used REAL LIFE IMAGES EVER💀
I get the impression that Arceus knows it is a video game character based on the real life images.
you just witnessed arceus recreate the universe from the ground up, all for an egg.
"This is gonna be extremely rare anyway so let just do some insane shit, it's not like the ESRB are gonna find this"
This cutscene is so weird.
But what about egg
Very good sir very good
Okok dayum we get it
@@ignister2880 The ability to start again, to create life anew if need be.
Maybe Arceus should have eradicated Cyrus
Ever since the leak, the pattern at 0:33 suddenly made sense.
It's 2022 and I only just today became aware of this cutscene's existence.
"Do not be afraid" -Arceus to the 11 year olds playing this game
i am so glad i didn't see this as a kid, that would have scarred me for life, lol
imagine being on your own in your room at night, maybe in bed and playing your fun pokemon game, and then this plays, jesus
ShanimexZ and the google images :(
Yea it too much for a kid to handle and process
ShanimexZ bruh I was 10 when I first saw this lmao
Unfortunately only a small amount of fans experienced this legitimately it was apart of an event back in 2010/11 not too many people have a legitimate arceus
hulk men I had a legit Arceus and I still have it to this day lmao. Since I live in Canada, I literally had to cross the border to a Buffalo Toys R Us to get it lol
Well this makes more sense now I guess
I love this cutscene. Because depending on what you chose you are witness the creation of the embodiment of Time or Space or Antimatter. This is such a cool and creative way to show that grand of a concept.
We had this japanese kid in school with an arceus and he lent it to me to do this, I picked Dialga.
NananNanNNNannananNaanaaananNMmammanammananskkdmsnsnannMNna
Dialga is the best one!
Luckgy

And now the table talking about the power of the Giants finally makes sense
i think about this event on a regular basis
tfw when this gives you an existential crisis at age 10
Still gave me chills.
Cynthia: Incredible...
Trainer: Hey, Arc-chan! You okay? I bet you want a Puff! Bet you dooo! You dooo! Who's a gud boi?!
Dude did you draw that pfp
Arceus: This is what I have to deal with...
Imagine saying that to a god
Honestly I wish that instead of you needing to get arceus from a event than taking it here you should have been able to go here with the 3 sinoh box legendarys to play that cutscene and fight arceus
This is a reflection of how Arceus and his Creations created the universe. Arceus now uses the same power to create a newborn Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina.
You know its serious when pokemon brings real life images to a game
Thanks to leaks we finally know what this means...
We finally know what it all means! Whooooooo
As a kid, I saved before the cutscene and reloaded so many times, I watched that shit like 30 times lmao
In the beginning it was chaos
From chaos an egg was formed
When the chaos subsidies the egg hatches
From the egg came AUS
From the discarded shells came giants
The Giants attacked the infant Aus, but he grew rapidly and killed them all
From the bodies of two who resembled him the most he poured his blood and came the Light and Time
From Light and Time came Eyes, Voice and Thought
From Light and Time came Sky, Ground and Sea
And from these three all life came to be
Those that resemble the mother are called Pokemon
Those that resemble the father are called humans
From
Actually those that resemble the father (Dialga) are Pokemon, and those that resemble the mother (Palkia) are humans.
Imagine this event being remastered in DP remake someday, showing us more magnificent jpegs from google such as black hole image from EHT, pale blue dot from voyager, DNA structure, or microscope image of COVID-19 in FHD resolution lmao
I would much rather have a new region than sinnoh remakes, but if we have to have them then they better have this shit.
Scenes from World War, riots, and other social issues😂
Let’s Go Johto games with this scene because we see that despite Let’s Go being different, they weren’t afraid to make Pokémon Tower upsetting
Bolf of you to assume the *current* Gamefreak will ever doing something like that
This is Johto not Sinnoh
The whole chip and buildings bit, implies that technology and civilization - and by further extent war/conflict and progression, are all part of them making an egg with the cold, effortless stare is pretty nihilistic and dark for a children's game that starts off with you fighting rats and birds.
Ah, good old Apollo 17 earth picture
Funniest thing is, it starts with the Big Bang, then ends on cells, representing new life and creation. Which is exactly what is happening during the event.
This feels like the part of a movie when the bad guy is finally finished with his big plan and unleashes it onto the world, the ominous music also helps btw
You dammit, Arceus! I just asked if you wanted Eggs and Bacon for breakfast!
😂😂😂
This feels like somebody made this as a temporary animation to test things were working, but somebody else didn’t get the memo and used it in the full game anyway.
Who’s here after the leaks
Me lol
Wow, this is deeply disturbing... Especially in the end when you can see Earth
No it just straight up created that new history for that baby
Out of everything Pokemon has ever shown us, this is the weirdest thing I've ever seen.
The image at 0:36 shows a highway with some cars on it. That means that unbeknownst to those people driving, they are technically the first real humans ever in a Pokémon game. Kinda crazy to think about. Some kid could’ve been riding in one of those cars, only to one day play this event and “see” himself in the game, and they would never even know.
This scared the hell out of me when i was a kid
truly next level post game. probably one of the best in ds series
>it's real
It’s super cool that the pattern in this scene was on the Hall of Origin in Legends Arceus!
God shows you his collection of cool stock pictures and lays an egg
