"The only way to access the Sinjoh Ruins is by bringing an Arceus from an event distribution or the Hall of Origin to the Ruins of Alph. The event is triggered by having Arceus as the player's walking Pokémon and entering the Ruins of Alph. (However, due to the Azure Flute never being officially released in Generation IV, it is not possible to officially obtain an Arceus from the Hall of Origin.)"
Arceus was obtained by loading up the Pokemon Toys R Us Arceus Distribution NDS Rom which distributed Arceus at participating Toys "R" Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico from November 7 to 15, 2009.

A round of applause once again for the astonishing cutscene from Arceus. If i encountered this on the DS i would be blown away. I'm still blown away now with now prestigious it is. Not something id think would come from a DS thats for sure.

Somewhere, Volo is smiling down, because he finally understands why his god rejected him. It was because he did not realize that making a new, better world is what you do every day, simply by being what is right. He was, all along, from the very beginning, an instrument of his god's will. And now he sees that he did, in fact, create a new a better world. A future.
I think it's hilarious how Cynthia and Cyrus have been enemies up through their lineage... but Cynthia's line became heroic and Cyrus' line became villainous
@quillquickcard8824 that hiker might be volo. It's implied that Volo is immortal due to him saying he'll achieve his goal even if it takes centuries to complete and his knowledge and attire if the Celestica people. This would have been about 200 years later. Not that Gamefreak would have had that planned, but they may have taken this event into account when creating his character. Who knows, but it's fun to speculate.
Edit: Maybe if we get a johto revisit soon like people think they'll do a little retcon and expand on that. Would be cool

I was so fortunate to have an arceus in my diamond game, so I could see this with my own two eyes.
Imagine being a 10 year old kid who just wanted to go catch every single Pokémon out there, but suddenly get wound up with GOD himself and he literally takes you to watch him erect an egg because you said so. Then you come across the trainer that literally ANYONE would be terrified of. That’s a story to tell the grandkids now…

If this was to get a full 3D reanimation, I would like for the statues of the Pokemon before the stage to be of the nobles like in Legends Arceus. Maybe if we get a Legends Celebi or something they can have Hisui's nobles on one side and the Johto equivalent on the other side.
Thought it might be fake but low and behold, tried it myself with an arceus and it works. Surprised this isn’t Talked more about as it’s significant to the lore if it’s really how pokemon eggs are made.
Less how normal eggs are made more how legendary eggs are made imo
Fun fact: this is the only way to legitimately obtain the Griseous orb for Giratina in the gen 4 games so this is the only way to get Origin forme Giratina
You can get the Griseous Orb in the Turnback Cave Distortion World Portal in Platinum, so it’s not the only way to get it

Not sure what your point was since it's the same for the Adamant Orb and Lustrous Orb in HG/SS.
Now, the Griseous Orb did not exist in D/P. It began to exist from Pt onward.

Bro omg i literally and randomly decided to find a video about this event today just to experience the feels and then i discover u did this the 4th of November 2022, exactly 1 year ago.
Good lord. I remember this event so fondly. I remember a used Pokémon HeartGold cartridge being my first experience with Pokémon as a whole. That save file had done practically everything except defeating Red, but that's a story for another day. The file just happened to have an Arceus on it, and I unknowingly put LITERAL GOD on my team just because I thought the wacky deer looked cool. I then just randomly decided to take my Arceus to the Ruins of Alph for whatever reason (I was young, I had NO IDEA this event existed), and I just happened to bump into the right door to trigger the event.
I remember everything. The dumbo-mumbo-jumbo who was crazy about Unown who's purpose I STILL don't know, getting Isekai'd out of nowhere to the Sinjoh Ruins, everything. I remember first entering the cabin, and meeting this "Cynthia" that I've never heard of. As previously stated, HeartGold was my first Pokémon game, so I hadn't played any of the Sinnoh ones yet (Ironically, to this day, I still haven't played any Sinnoh games, with the exception of Legends: Arceus, but whether that can be considered a "Sinnoh" game is up for debate).
I remember she took me to the Mystri stage, and telling me to put my other Pokémon in the boxes, which I did. I then heard her talk about the Creation Trio, and without really knowing much about any of them, I ended up choosing Palkia, the creator of space. Then the cutscene. GOOD GOD THE CUTSCENE. Did it look like a PowerPoint presentation? Yes. Did it still look really fucking epic? Yes. Seeing that whole thing made young me finally realize, "Okay, this thing is way to powerful for a 10-year old to be carrying around." Arceus' imposing and intimidating theme really added to that cutscene as a whole.
I just stood there in true awe, as Arceus handed me the egg, which then took the form of a Level 1 Palkia. Now this is where it gets pretty funny: After seeing the other members of the Creation Trio, I remember crying like a bitch that I wanted a Dialga because I thought they looked cooler (Admit it, as kids: we all determineda Pokémon's strength by how cool it looked). Then, fast-forward to today, and Palkia is now my favorite member of the Creation Trio, including design (I can't really say much about his Origin Forme, though, he really got the short end of the stick).
Anyway, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. I'll be back at 10AM on Sunday.

@@assopfr9165 super late reply but the mystery gifts are random… just keep doing it and you’ll get Arceus. Arceus is a DPPT event only. I don’t think you get him in HGSS through mystery gift

@@assopfr9165 strangely enough there is no official way to get it , in some regions at least, just use a DS replay device and you're good by getting an Arceus

I finally figured out what the BDSP pokemon game mark (which shows which game the pokemon came from) represent, it's meant to represent the hall of origins.
It would be pretty cool if during the final Pokémon game ever to be released, they did an event like this for Celebi and the Johto Trio, Deoxys and the Weather Trio, Genesect and the Tao Trio, and Diancie and the Aura Trio.
It would be interesting to see.
Ho-oh transforming the nameless Pokémon that perished in the Brass Tower into the Legendary Beasts.
And seeing how the Original Dragon split into the Tao Trio and assembling them back together.
I am not sure how this would work with the Weather Trio and Aura Trio. I assume they came from the Original Dragon for thematic reasons.

You can use codes to hack in an event Arceus into your hgss games, and bringing it to these ruins will activate the event!
For Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, it can connect to normal connection (if you are playing on a 3DS or 2DS system, but for DS systems, it follows the same instructions as the other games I listed
But you will still need to have an open connection and Auto Obtain DNS off, with the same Primary and Secondary DNS as I listed before.
Some Pokémon are exclusive to Black 2/White 2, such as Deoxys, Cloyster and Genesect, but the rest can be obtained in Black White Black 2 and White 2.
And Generations 1->3 & 6->9, their events are either timed wifi events or in person distributions.
For example: Deoxys's "Aurora Ticket" in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Fire Red/Leaf Green is a distribution event, so the only way to obtain it, is either modifying your game (Action Replay, GameShark, etc) or having a distribution cartridge next to you and transferring it into the game.
And X/Y and Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon had times Wi-Fi events, so you can't redeem any codes/passwords,serial numbers, etc. The only things you can get as gifts are BPs from Pokémon Bank or in-game NPC trades/gifts, like Porygon, Cosmog, etc.

It's in game, the event is always available. Are you sure you have the right Arceus with you? It needs to be an Event Arceus or the Hall of Origin Arceus.

sadly for me I never got this legitimately on my DS back then. I was pretty much oblivious from these kinds of ingame events as a kid and I only cared about finishing the game and the pokedex. I only knew about this event years later as a teen, and I really wanna see it for myself but sadly I don't have my old DS anymore so I resorted to emulation and just action replayed the thing just to see that cutscene 😂.

Nope! Very much real. Triggering it is the hard part since you need an event Arceus.

How do you activate the event?
Arceus must be first in your party & walking behind you (you can't be on the bike) then enter the research building at Ruins of Alph. Not sure if it only works with an event arceus, or if azure flute one works too. May need to be only pokemon in party but idk.
