@@FirePuff12 hi ! first i m issue of the 2d FGC (SF5, DBFZ, GG...) but i dont really like ssbu, this game never hyped me and at the time I knew NOTHING on melee. A year ago ive watched the Emplemon doc on Hungrybox i was really interested but not enroll. few months later a french youtuber started a doc series on melee gods (if you are not affraid to hear some french i advise you to watch the docs they have sub-tittles) i was really hyped but still, not enroll. Few days ago, i was at a friend house, and we started to play melee in poor conditions (PAL version, 3th party controller) but, to play, reminds me all the hype this game can be, and I fell in love with melee. so i went back home went on blippi and i think you can guess the end of the story Love you all
Smash players use of "cheese" seems so nebulous compared to its usage in traditional fighters. A lot of these seem like subtle ways to outplay your opponent in neutral or during punish/oki situations.
@AlexKfridges I don't think that's the case. I quickly clicked through the video to refresh what was discussed and I saw stuff like fullhop to drift back, covering the top platform with up air, doing high lasers in a falco mirror, SDI'ing falcon's nair as marth, empty land bair with drift to cover a roll/be safe. Mango does like 90% of these things in game and I don't think most consider him to be cheesy lol. Timing mixups are part of every fighting games neutral (hell, divekick is basically centered around timing mixups and mind games).
I use that first Sheik one in like every game haha, it's up there with double poof and walljump bair as one of my favorite recovery mixups. I do the second trick too, but I generally prefer to wd back and grab their thoughtless approaching aerial instead of ftilting. Also, some of those Fox ones are very upsetting, but at least I can try to more actively watch out for them now!
Another one with fox I’ve never seen. Fullhop backair covers high side B AND low side b because you can grab ledge right after the backair runs out without having to land first
My fav marth cheese: perfect ledge dash into down smash. 1. It comes out so fast nobody is ready for it. 2. hits front and back. 3. can sometimes tipper hit floaties for a kill.
I’m a sheik main and foxes do the full hop shine edge guard on me all the time and it’s super annoying because there really just aren’t many good options to avoid it.

ledgestalling then going on randall to get like 20 galint

A few days ago I started my journey to melee. Your ytb channel is a must have when you begin. Thank you Kira
Its so insane how many new players have joined recently.

Us smash players get salty so we call any knowledge check "cheese"

None of these are cheese. They're just tips and general match-up knowledge.
the meta is cheesy in general
@@hm-jt3os you’re cheesy in general
See, when you're a Luigi main, everything you do is cheese.
I'm fueled by the cheesey smell of his slippery shoes.
Man the thumbnail has shine and says "unreactable" 😭 of course its frame 1
These timestamps are great
the atlus waveland trick looks so similar to the way slingshot is used in ult thats crazy
OH SNAP THEY’RE BACK
Ah good old Melee. Smells so fresh. zwz nothing like waking up to SSBM Tutorials. Thx Kira. zwz

“thoughtless approaching aerial” is definitely only a phrase i’d hear from a samus or sheik player lmao
@@GayTier1Operator I don't follow tbh. I'm not saying every approaching aerial is thoughtless, just the one people do in this situation.
@@SSB_Seal im saying that even assessing an aerial as "thoughful" or "thoughless" is a shiek or samus main mentality lol
@@GayTier1Operator I disagree then. Any decent player regardless of main recognizes that people frequently do aerials without thinking.
SSB_Seal only a sheik main would say it in that way too lol
Amazing video, I learned so much! Now to work on applying it
These are pretty top tier tips dude

We have different definitions for cheese
Reply with your favorite kind of cheese, mine is provolone.
Swiss
Colby Jack
Falco dair at ledge
Gouda
Chanco
Only more evidence fox is actually the cheesiest char in the cast
I only play one of the characters mentioned in this video. But at least I know how to counter whenever someone does this to me in Slippi
Best video yet!
Excellent video, will make sure to practice all this techniques
marth waveland off top plat -> fall through side plat is somehow goated
Now this is my kind of video!
The best way to cheese your opponent is to play samus, there’s so much cheese if they don’t know the match up
This man just hates Falcon mains huh 😢
notice there aren’t any falcon tips because that entire characters kit is cheese
THE KING HAS ONCE AGAIN RETURNED TO HIS THRONE

only 1 marf option ? Sadness. I need more cheese

try protecting yourself with an upair if the situation allows it
watching this as a marth main with the shortest section :(
SSBM can you make a tutorial for Kirby because i am not afraid to say that i main Kirby.
I used to CC downsmash with Falco religiously! Used to make my friend Josh so mad lol
Every fox thing just exposed me as a cheeser... you exposed my game plans god dammit
Why do I do all of these lmao fuck me
Kira dont had friends.
Yesss
Kira a true homie
Literally like maybe two of these are cheese lol
All of these are fox facts so far
Edit: nevermind I didn't notice the time stamps

New vid! Yooo
Wow
"its impossible to rtc online" wut
Wtf is cheese really.. no one really says it anymore, melee is literally all cheese, aka mix ups
Dang in class so I can’t practice
You dont really wanna practice these that much. These aren't end all be all answers and have of them won't ever work on ppl that are good.
