I lived in Scottsdale for several years and played TPC a half dozen times or so. Terrific course, beautiful setting. One time a group of us mid-teens handicappers decided to move to the pro tees for our round. From the first tee, the view was intimidating, but we were feeling our oats (and probably the barley and hops we’d already consumed). A marshall rather quickly approached us, asked our handicaps and moved us forward where we belonged. Huge respect to all those who can navigate this desert gem.
Love that you're doing these videos again, whole reason u sub'd 3 years ago was your course vids. Your golf has improved a lot since your last course vid. Love watching you play and hearing your commentary on your round.
Hey Kyle, I just want you to know how much I enjoy, appreciate and am in awe of your talent+effort or TE factor. Thanks for sharing all of this content with us. Sincerely, Matthew
Honestly, I LOVE the return of the old format. Love hearing the commentary throughout and sometimes the selfie cam made me dizzy 😅 also love seeing a course I've been lucky enough to play, as well. Sweet little bonus. Keep it up!
Hey Kyle love your content and honestly you are an inspiration to all of us and your humility and courage carries the sport forward. I would love for you to create a video about what you do to heal your body after intense training. Thanks!
Once again really close to PGA tour standards in many respects and great putting generally It's always a pleasure to watch you play and I enjoy this style of video thoroughly since it's fun to be inside the box and along for the ride with you taking on some magnificent piece of golfing property. Your understated, almost contemplative tone coupled and somewhat contrasted with your outlandish but controlled power and other talents makes for compelling viewing. Cheers.
@@1362pc yeah i was surprised he was able to get away with some of the shots on tougher courses you wont be able to miss fairways by 70 plus yards and still have a shot at the green. has to be tough to make transition from speed focus to accuracy which is why these guys arent on tour.
That was very fun to watch. When I was in my 20 & up into my 40's I won a room full of prizes in scrambles with my long drives. Now with my back being messed up I can't swing a club anymore. Maybe someday I can get it fixed and maybe play again.
Drop the second video please and thank you haha. As always thanks for all the time you put it making these videos! So interesting to see how your distance makes it around the course. 🤙 love this course as I live in Gilbert. Let me know if you want to play encanterra or gold canyon I can get you on
What's crazy is those greens are shaggy compared to when the tour plays. Such a big difference between tour golf and any other month of the year for that course.
Kyle, great video! You mentioned where you come across some bad streak in your rounds occasionally. The great golfers or the ones who win tournaments have what they call, “golf amnesia “! The ability to block out or forget the previous shot or score. You got great talent… but the most important part to succeed Is the mental portion my friend. You can easily achieve what you’re looking for, it’s all in the head!
You're a great golfer Kyle, if you get that short game to the level to which you started the round consistently, you could play on a pro level! Either or, it's entertaining watching you play with how much of an advantage you get off the tee, keep up the great content!
I remember when I played here and 7 was playing within a couple yards of what you played it at. I birdied it with a 6 off the tee. Hitting an 8 there is absolutely insane lol.
Love the videos. Just as a challenge, I'd be curious to see what your score would look like if you blasted driver then placed your next shot at the same yardage but always in the center of the fairway. Just to see if your scores are about the same, or improve noticeably. Most of us hit half as far as you on a good day and seldom find the fairway. Having your second shot in a good spot is a definite advantage. For those of you that drive 300+ I'm definitely not referring to you, kudos.
You should sign up for pro-ams on the PGA tour. It'd be hilarious to watch you bomb it 40 yards past Rory, et al. Happy New Year to the longest man on Earth.
Kyle I honestly don’t know why you don’t have 1 million subscribers, but I’m a RUclips junky, and I’m telling you: stay in shape, keep your distance, and we will come. All of us
I played that course last year a weekend after the Waste Management. Caddy told us the greens were running around a 13. He said that’s what they were on the Sat during tourney and said the last day they had them at a 14. I barely touched a couple of putts that were downhill as they were fast. Had one downhill and it was about 30 feet, he told me to putt it as if it were a foot. I did and I still rolled past the hole. Course is brutally fast during tournament time.
I don't know if you have done one in a while but I'm very interested in a WITB, I'm also very curious why you choose a 1 iron instead of a wood/hybrid.
just goes to show, that there's no stories on the scorecard... you could take a shorter more controlled shot off the tee and a longer iron into the green, and still end up with the same score. 🤷♀ but FWIW i loved watching that first drive. bigggg distance.
Would reccomend for anyone visiting or playing desert golf like shown in the video. Get an extra wedge or iron you dont care for (possible a handdown or a cheaper used club) . Like Kyle said the rocks and sand will destroy your club!
What is the green hardness and speed off the tournament? If these are PGA tournament conditions, with this kind of play you should just try and go for the PGA whatever the cost.
Kyle disappeared out of the whole Good Good crew ecoverse. I know part of it was injury. Now Micah and Grant teamed up with Busta Jack and the Bryan Bros.
Audio a LOT better. I would just turn up the golf course sound or turn down your voice so that they are equal. It's better to hear the sounds from the golf course. After all the key to great video is great audio!
Kyle: Yeah, this next shot is about 275 yards, the wind is in my favor so I am just gonna hit a chippy 9I....(proceeds to hit shot) and there it is, middle of the green...i'll take it (haha, just having fun) Honestly, I love your videos. You are always very descriptive when you talk, and are humble and honest. Very passionate in a subtle sense too. I have an idea. Have you considered getting a professional cameraman and editor for your videos? From purely a visual perspective, comparing to other golf channels, I will bet you would have more subs if you were to give it a shot. Keep the content coming. Edit: you should have at least 500k subs, no doubt.
Man, I wish you could take a year or so off of long drive and just work on your short game. You would be practically unstoppable out there against anyone.
I would like to see you play with just irons take the woods out and see how low you can go. Watching your golf game for a long time your irons it seems to me are more accurate. Hit more fairways and greens = lower scores

I like the VO style. It's nice and relaxing while being informative
Love that the course plays are back! Always nice to see how you do on some well known courses
love watching the golf ball whacker guy!
Kyle your course management and putting have really improved, fun to watch enjoyed the video
Love this style of course play. It’s like the original videos, much better than vlog style. Subscribed!
Happy to have you 👊🏻
@5:33 first time I’ve ever seen a Semi Truck driving down the cart path of a golf course 😂
Beautiful course and great recovery shots! Really enjoy watching your game progress to be a tour player someday!

Nice play - and I love how nothing distracts you during your shots.
Enjoying the content Kyle, well done mate!
I agree with you. I feel like my make percentage on closer putts in much higher if I just give it a quick look and feel the putt.
The less you think about it, the easier it is!
That first putt on the third proves that even the long drive boys have some touch on the greens!

You need people screaming at you on #16
That would definitely be fun!
That shot out of the rocks is why we locals have a “desert club” in our bags 🤣
Gotta have a club you don’t care about damaging. 👍🏼

Not even close to PGA standards.
Hit like one fairway and wedge game not tour standard....but par scoring

Looking amazing for the WMO

You're just incredibly good now. You can play with those guys.

THE OPEN should give Kyle a wild card. Good for golf and get youngsters playing.
nice nice love these course videos man !
I will be there for Friday and Saturday and I am stoked it will be my first time attending a tournament.
212 yard 8 iron?!
For a long drive guy, I was surprised at your outstanding short game.

Dont have down hill putts
Incredible shots. Your long game is as good as any tour pro.
He hit like 1 fairway on the front nine lol
@@OncleJer Good luck hitting a fairway with 360 yard drive. What matters is he then took a 6 irons and hit the green with a low hook from 240 yards.
great video! would love to a 9 hole match Vs Tig like the old days.
Was not expecting an 18 wheeler out there..
I can see you winning a major, like August one day
Kyle, have you changed your putting stroke, not so upright? You look pretty confident over your ball. Good luck this year.
Nice to see you playing a proper putter again. ❤
I don't know if you have done one in a while but I'm very interested in a WITB, I'm also very curious why you choose a 1 iron instead of a wood/hybrid.
Fairly strong repetoire even with the wedges on 8 and 9

I love the golf vlogs but my favorite are when you are talking through your shots on the course. Maybe you could bring those back.
We need to see you competing at the wm
What ball do you play? Also titleist has AVX and Prov1x Left dash which are both lower spinning balls.
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT
Keep playing your game. U have 1 up on every body
Man you played great. Do you play tournaments other than long drive?
What is the green hardness and speed off the tournament? If these are PGA tournament conditions, with this kind of play you should just try and go for the PGA whatever the cost.
On the 5th isn’t that in front of the tee markers???
damn the putter looks very solid
What's your FIR % on average? Seems like you can belt it but can be hit/miss but your recovery and approach shots are awesome
Kyle disappeared out of the whole Good Good crew ecoverse. I know part of it was injury. Now Micah and Grant teamed up with Busta Jack and the Bryan Bros.
As a Phoenix guy, welcome to deserts beating up the clubs. 😭
What putter were you using?
Audio a LOT better.
I would just turn up the golf course sound or turn down your voice so that they are equal.
It's better to hear the sounds from the golf course.
After all the key to great video is great audio!
Your putting is better than ever .. Some bad choices around the green .. Overall I’m impressed ..
People who see you hit a ball in the flesh must think wtf!!! Especially if they don’t know you. Bet it’s fun to surprise people like that
Why would PGA Tour not invite exciting players like you on sponsors exemption? More eyeballs!

Dropping loads
When the back nine gonna come out
Nice video.
Nice!
Pretty cool.
Ive watched all your vids and you casually are a tour level putter 6 ft and in. If the 15-20 footers dropped more often you would be deadly.
Not a tough course, but that rough is no joke
dream course
It’s pretty!
Dialed twerkshire the goat
Maybe I'll see you there.
What’s crazy is in terms of golf courses around Phoenix/scottsdale, tpc stadium isn’t even close to the best.
The car girl.....who dat?
golf must be easy when you can drive every green on the course
It can be sometimes, just gotta hit it straight!
If you're going to be in the area, does this mean you're playing in the Good Good live event??? Please say yes....
Keep up the great work Kyle. Happy New Year from the UK 😉👍
I would rather you do the live commentary rather than the post-game commentary.
I would like to see you play with just irons take the woods out and see how low you can go. Watching your golf game for a long time your irons it seems to me are more accurate. Hit more fairways and greens = lower scores
As someone who makes a living off his driver, you sure hit it bad. Lol
Hit one fway? Gotta hit fairways
I want to play one round with you some time. We can play in Glen Rose Texas. They have a awesome course. 😁🤠
151 yards with pw? Should be LW east swing 😅😅😅😅
Like the confidence but the condition you played in is nowhere near the condition the course will be in for waste management
212 yard perfect 8 iron, lol

Yo
Yoyo
Drive for show I guess.....
i wish you didnt just talk the entire video
I’ll try to mix up formats to keep everybody happy
I don't mind the talking but mixing it up with live audio could be good. Cheers from DFW, Texas.
@@velzun8075 I agree. I want to hear the shots because they sound unreal at these speeds
Talk about a scramble. Shit golf the whole time?
Watch your back man ripping like that will take a toll
