    I’d still recommend two buckets. The first one just needs to be hot water anyways! Always good to have the water one to rinse and keep the soap one clean

    Love the attention to detail on the wash. Ive seen other youtubers and detailers alike brush all the dirty soap from the bottom to top and it hurts me every time I watch it. Kudos!

    I had a Focus ST for a year before I bought my EVO. You want to invest in the Ford Performance short shifter (if still available) and the shifter bushings as well. It made the shifting feel a whole lot better.

    • @greecoboost
      @greecoboost Год назад +1

      Unfortunately, the Ford Performance short shifter was discontinued, so a similar mod would be for ST owners to swap their shifter out with a factory RS shifter. It's about an 18% throw reduction, I think. And yeah, I've done the shifter base bushings mod and rowing through the gears is so much more satisfying after doing that. It's a must-have.

      @@greecoboost I wasn't sure if it was still available or not. I got rid of my Focus and bought me an EVO X.

    highly recommend doing the wheel wells and brake calipers first before the hand wash, mainly because you’ll get over spray from the iron remover and degreaser onto the paint which will take any wax or sealants off that area and you don’t want it to sit on the paint. also dirty water from the pressure washer as well! but hey i love it the passion shoes in the small details !

    Battery or gas leaf blower for drying works good too especially in intricate pieces, then come back with some detail spray and microfiber to finish 👍

    21:06 Pro-tip: to get your glass extra-smooth and clean, use glass cleaner as lube and run a clay bar/towel/mitt over the glass. It removes all the tiny embedded grit and makes it super smooth. This makes your wipers last longer, too, because they're just gliding across the surface without as much resistance. Then you can apply something on top of it like Rain-X ceramic spray, which is is great for keeping glass clean and coating it with a layer of hydrophobic stuff. Water beads-up and rolls right off.

    Did my first detail on my new '18 NB RS last week! Good looking out on those fender wells and calipers, though. Gonna flush the brakes this weekend and follow suit with some Meg's HCW and CarPro Perl. You reminded me I also need to hit all the plastics with Perl too, oops! Can't wait to do a one step polish and CQuartz on this thing. (Previous owner didn't love it like I do.) Might be a good idea for a video!

    This is like me watching myself when I first picked up my NB RS last year. It took me like 5 hrs to clean EVERYTHING inside and out.
    After I have clean the rims multiple times, and the pads are just generating WAY too much dust even after switching to the Yellow pads.
    I GIVE UP. ( and I’m sorry for neglecting you) 😂

    100% get rid of the IC blank, just heat it up to get most of the residue off. Also get rid of that videos focus badge on the trunk lid lol. Pro tip, get the wheels powder coated as they tend to flake because crap paint job by Ford, otherwise if you're planning a different wheel setup then don't worry about it.
