I feel the exact same way about the tracks that are closing. Houston Raceway Park... RIP.. I could hardly believe it. But Attendance was an issue. So there you have it.
The fastest zl1 1le time attack car is stock boost but with the frontal area of the camaro there's really not an issue. I have a friend racing a 830 wheel zl1 1le on ported blower and seems to be fine on road course. Idk where there's a debate but I can count 10 modded zl1 1le with and without more than factory boost level and decent tune and e50 mix seems to be the key. I have the fastest c7z time attack car in the country and it's stock boost but moving to a maggy soon. It makes 639 wheel heat soaked. I have lg cooling kit, e70 tune with jms, 5" cold air, and ported lt5 tb, no cats with stock manifolds. The c7z doesn't have the frontal area and needs the heat exchangers moved to not have issues. A slow driver won't really ever have issues either. Btw I've never done a 30 minute session. 2 laps max and then cool down. But if he's off pace probably not an issue.
Like you said, not really a problem with the huge frontal area of a Camaro. Corvettes are the issue. Also Like you said, you only do 1-2 laps in time attack. Try a 25-30 min session. Totally different story. C7 issue of course.
Both have their strengths and weaknesses- as does any engine. I guess it would come down to application. If you compare the LT4 to a similar LS, it would have to be the LSA/LS9. Pound for pound, LSA/LS9 is a better platform in my opinion from a strength standpoint and “modding” stand point. The LT4 is a great engine but the direct injection is costly to upgrade, and the stock blower is small.
I have a 2010 Camaro SS and a 2015 Stingray Z-51. The engines are both great but a little different. The LS feels idk gruntier. The LT is way more responsive and a little more powerful. Different chassis I know but yeah. The LS3 sounds way better tho imo
Atco was PACKED all the way until the day they closed. Simple greed man. A rich man bought it cheap after an unfortunate incident with the previous owner of many many years and it was obvious the new owner was looking for a quick pay day. He PRICE GOUGED all the loyal racers, made maximum profit for 5-7 years then sold out to someone (I never heard who. Nothing has been done there yet the last I heard)
Thanks for making and sharing this video Erik. Great to see how your work translates to the track.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it
Happened in Denver at Bandimere Speedway recently.
So many memories at pbr:(
Very well done eric, I cant wait to get my 2019 ZO6 mods done by you.
When you’re ready we’ll be here!

Sad stuff going on. Thanks Biden!
This is a beautiful build, nice work, cam shots facing forward would be awesome. Amazing work by all, thanks for sharing and God bless y'all!
This was the most fun we have had filming a build. A lot more of this type of content will be coming. Thank you again!
Yes, tracks are closing everywhere. We lost our only 1/4 mile dragstrip(Memphis International Raceway). Now it’s a 4 hour drive to the nearest one.
Totally agree with race tracks. Need many more tracks and less street racing for the crazy powered cars these days.

What's better the LT4 engine or the LS engine?

What track group is this?
CHIN event. Eddie is a novice.
Freaking sucks they shut down Palm Beach raceway! 😢
Rip PBI..
god dang automatic makes me sad, especially with no paddle usage.
I am a manual guy myself...but to each their own.

A automatic how boring.
I’m a manual guy myself- our ZL1 Bad Punkn is a manual. Honestly though these new A10’s are wicked. Different strokes for different folks…
