    Its all about the most HP and TQ possible. I know some shops you have max numbers set based on the setup and won't push past that for long term reliability. Safe timing, safe A/F, certain PSI can drop HP by 100-200. depending. Anyway fantastic build

    I’d be interested to know how much boost it’s seeing. I know those maggy’s are efficient.
    This would be an awesome race vs my 6 speed hellcat! Mine just put down 921whp and 900tq with a ported redeye 2.7l blower and e85. Mine was seeing 17psi on the top end.

    what was the weight of the correct oil needed?

    • @floridahighperformance
      @floridahighperformance  6 месяцев назад

      We switched to 5w40 - which is typically what we will run in any of these types of builds. The heavier weight really helps to keep the lifters pumped up and happy above 7000 RPM...

    The whipple was MORE than capable of taking that car to 1k hp if the IC pump was working and it was tuned right. Pulling the twin screw blower for the 2650 was a money grab. -------not a good look on this one.

    • @floridahighperformance
      @floridahighperformance  7 месяцев назад +15

      At no point did anyone say the Whipple wasn't capable. A LOT of conversation between Dan and I was left out of this video. IN fact, the plan originally was to leave the Whipple and roll with it. It was the older 2.9, not the newer 3.0 first off - we discussed running a new 3.0. Dan was leaning toward a 2650 anyway, so we went that route. The car was purchased with the Whipple already on it..so it was easy for Dan to transition over. Secondly, since you want to blame me for money grabbing, I actually helped Dan sell his 2.9L to another client of mine who can greatly benefit from the 2.9 on his particular build..so not only are you dead wrong, but it is quite the contrary. I simply followed my clients wish, helped him sell his existing part, helped another client obtain a quality Whipple at a fair price, and everyone wins. Next time you accuse someone of something, have all the facts.

    • @dsmubz
      @dsmubz 7 месяцев назад +1

      Not true, I've had customers insist on a particular kind of supercharger kit like this 2650 since it might come on stronger, more power under the curve than the 2.9 whipple unit he had.

      I see far more Whipples removed from 6th gen’s than any other aftermarket blower. I am not sure what’s going on but it’s a bad look.

    • @floridahighperformance
      @floridahighperformance  7 месяцев назад

      @@corypierce202we use both- both work…depends on customer needs/wants. The 3.0 whipple is superior to the 2.9.
