A few weeks ago the team at Kooks Headers reached out to Florida High Performance to collaborate on THE WORLD'S FIRST SET OF C8 Z06 HEADERS. I just put the dsx lid on my 18 ctsv. It has way more whine. I like that it fits under the strut brace. I would recommend for any v owners.

@floridahighperformance I know that dyno numbers and real life can live in harmony together. I would like to see a progressive dyno numbers for all mods like CSP does. Tho, Andrew goes a little bonkers with it due to only one car available to do the mix and match numbers research. Steven from LMR has a stage 1 kit for the Z06 with ported TBs, Eventuri intake and Hi-Flow cats which adds 70 hp for now until HP Tuners crack the ECU. It would have been interesting to have seen the finished header next to the original to see the differences... Any changes to the diameter or length? If they are just a duplicate of the original, then what is to be gained? horsepower, torque and some 0-60 and 1/4 mi runs .. literally all the important info is absent here... as far as the sound, it sounds great but then it also sounded great stock.. a side by side sound check and some before and after dyno runs and timed pulls would say volumes..

They are selling noise. No power. C8z does not respond to mods at all. My guess is these things will make 5hp for a nice cost of 4k lol
@@pratttrio3836I second this. GM engineers outdid the C8Z and basically made the exhaust as close to a straight pipe minus the fact that it has catalytic converters for emissions. Probably gain the extra 5 hp w out any cats but besides that just noise

the day i make my camaro have this kind of potential is the day i'll be happy. i got a 2014 2ss. fixed it all myself after snagging it from auction, and i'm still young and all but i'm slowly but surely getting everything done responsibly. .. the main thing is trying to save up money these days with how expensive everything's gotten. someday i'll get there, i already got the hardest part out of the way and thats getting my hands on a camaro.

For the money you would spend on those lids with labor couldn’t you get the same maybe more for that amount by modifying the stock lid by having it polished inside ? I don’t know for sure how far you could take the polishing with the stock blower system ? I would even be curious if the idea was pushed to polishing and porting the factory heads and reinstalling ?

Welcome and thank you. Hard to beat the LS7 in the C6Z. That get's my vote.
Can I run a flex fuel sensor with c16? You briefly mentioned something about it in video? Can you explain please. I’m trying to run c16
Technically speaking, you can use the sensor to measure 0% content (which is what C16 will be). When the ECU sees 0% eth coming through, you can set your timing for C16. When it sees 9% Eth content (like pump 93, or any E85 based fuel), you can set timing for that as well. That is how we use flex sensors with C16....
Respect for the grind and replying to all the comments, I'll sub just for that. I hope to one day own a C6Z or a C7. I'll keep your shop in mind for upgrades if I'm ever that fortunate! Nice work!

In your bad pumpkin build, that made 742 lbs of torque? But 80ish less HP? What is the difference on the street driving between those?
Bad Punkn is stupid powerful...more torque that I know what to do with on bolt ons. I am very pleased with it's power level...and am looking forward to phase 3 where we add heads and cam!

Bought it from a dealer in the Carolinas. She is in the best of hands...I am the ZL1 guy around here...what better to have this as the shop car!
