That was always something that weirded me out. It's clear that an immense, even obsessive amount of thinking goes into VKB products, yet all the way through they had the knobs the wrong way around? It's nice that they're swappable, the only caveat being that we didn't get a great look at the landing gear axis from a top down perspective without the knob, and it's still possible the sizing might be a bit different. But I'm not actually expecting it to be. Looking forward to getting mine, ordered one each of the modules. =)
@@jubuttib Hey m8 did you end up getting the SEM? Can you in fact swap the landing gear & flaps knobs? It's something that has always bothered me too! lol
I own the Gladiator NXT EVO and I like the concept of these modules. But I don't want the throttles - I'm still waiting what you'll come with eventually 😉. And the other module - while interesting - is not that interesting either - I want to have flaps and gear on the other side (left) anyway, throttle bindings can help me with that anyway - and that leaves me with just a few buttons. Are there any plans for some even more generic controller, but with more than buttons, with some encoders (be it like on VKB Gladiator base, but knobs would be even better)... I'm hasitant to point to a competition, but something like "NXT version of VPC Control panel #1"? It's not like that panel is totally out of my reach - but having something like that in a plastic on the right side of my joystick would be super cool. I don't mind axis really - but I miss axis knobs. And endless rotary knobs too. Mode switch is fine to make it even more flexible, no problem with that.
We just uploaded a video for physically interconnecting the modules. There's no Gladiator NXT in there, but it's the same procedure. The Gladiator NXT interconnecting video comes tomorrow.
@@VKBSim Excited for that video!!! I got my SEM working with my NXT stick, but still trying to figure out how the software works. I love how it feels with the 2 detent in place but im trying to configure it as an axis so i can use it as a throttle and not a button. having great difficulty.

I just ordered this to attach it to the left side of my GNXT Premium. An Admin in the VKB Forum said that I don’t need the left baseplate so I’m trying to understand what I’ll have to do to physically attach them together. Are the side plates of both units removable in order to connect them together?
Yes, you'd need a GNX HID Controller (www.vkbcontrollers.com/products/gnx-usb-controller-hid-main), which would get installed like here:ruclips.net/video/BgdOTpsEO20/видео.html. Afterwards, the SEM will become an independent USB device. It will need some kind of mount or to be attached in a way to the desk, as it's pretty light and will slide around by itself.
Help out, please: I think of buying the SEM as well, but to use with my only VKB NXT Premium (left) apart from each other (the keyboard in-between). How should I connect the SEM to the stick? Does it come with a USB-C to USB-C 40cm cable and both devices have such connector?
Does it work along others throttles and stick? For example, i use an Saytek X-52Pro and i want the VKB NXT SEM because i need more axis and buttons. Thanks!
Yes, it could simply become an independent USB device if you'll upgrade it with a GNX HID Controller (www.vkbcontrollers.com/products/gnx-usb-controller-hid-main).
is there away to changed the mode, flap, and landing gear switch, as button that doesn't pulse, currently the button giving pulse signal, I can't seems to find away, even if I set it to macro, it keep giving pulse signal, and my game I playing(Star Citizen) doesn't support pulse signal, thanks before!

Man I am so excited for these. Ordered my FSM first thing in the morning, with plans on getting the SEM later on.
The Flaps and Landing Gear handle knob ends are swapped? Looks wrong to me, with those labels.
Edit: nevermind, you can swap the knobs!

These guides are great! Is there one on how to attach it to an NXT Joystick? Currently trying to figure it and dont want to do something wrong.

Yes, they are :)
The impression I got that they're more supports/reinforcements rather than attachments, in case you have a lot of modules lined up.
Is there a way to directly connect this one module to my pc? Without any other modules?

Could you swap the shorter lever for the longer one found on the THQ?
my question exactly. does not seem to be the case, but +1 for a VKB reply.

is there a way to make it more than 4 detents on the flaps? Most high performance gliders (that I fly on my PC) have above 5 flap settings.
No 5 detents block available unfortunately.
Any chance you plan to sell the new devices in Australia? I would purchase 10 minutes ago if you would allow.
They will show up on the Aussie store, no worries.
