I know wrong place for tech help, but what if I don’t see my vkb stick or stecs in msgs 2024? Shows up in msfs 2020, dcs, il2, etc. frustrating.

Hi, would you have any solution for MSFS 2024 seeing my Gladiator EVO Joystick and my THQ module as having the same name? This causes a conflict in 2024 (was not a problem in 2020). End result is that the THQ unit always loses it's profile assignment when moving to another aircraft. By the way, the THQ is really only used for mixture, as the throttle and propeller axis are bound to the joystick. I suppose I could just use the EN1 encoder for mixture like you do, and not use the red mixture control on the THQ..... Is there a way to change the name/identifier of a VKB unit in VKBDevConfig.exe? Thanks, Bill

Waiting on getting my own, probably too late for this year but looking forwards to it so much... Experienced in flight sims but not 2024, and it'd be my first VKB product and this makes me so excited to get my hands on one! Amazing vid, very informative but not boring - brilliant!

Is it possible to bind the primary axes to conventional movement controls in other games? Effectively using a stick as WASD and/or a mouse for some less-than-simulator games

Nice! Heads up to Canadian VKB customers. VIP Pilot got new stock in this week, so no more "out of stock" warnings. Ordered a right handed Evo OT SCG today. (Thank you VKB for making left handed sticks that kick ass. Now I can fly cyclic with my left and collective/throttle on the right)

I've got both the VKB NXT paired with a Wingwing Orion throttle quadrant, mainly for use with DCS. Great throttle, but hard to calibrate the reverser

Is there any caps for the index finger ministick? I use the index ministick for strafing and its size makes it a bit hard on the finger, wondering if there will be any ministick cap from vkb, or if any 3d printing designs are available

This is not clear at all, for example, VKB device config detects the stick as VKBsim Gladiator EVO KG12 v2.165 In the firmware files, there are two options for the KG12: _Gladiator-K_KG12_Pro_v2_18_9.vkb & _Gladiator-MK2_KG12_v2_18_9.vkb Which is it?

Why is it required to run the configuration software as admin? What triggers windows to prevent installing the software? I assume false positives are possible but I would like to know more about what a program is doing before I give it elevated privileges. And I cant seem to find anyone talking about or questioning this which is somewhat concerning...

Here's a tip for re-installing the self-tapping screws: insert the screw into the hole and then twist it anti-clockwise until you feel a slight "click" through the screwdriver. That aligns the screw threads with the threaded hole, thus preventing stripping out the hole... Then you can go ahead and screw. The screw, I mean.

Is the mkiv compatible in the same way the 3 is? I'm installing mine now on the UCM plate and it seems the front roll gimbal touches the plate

with the gunfighter in the configuration shown in the video, the bottom of it hangs down leaving the interior exposed to whatever is under it. Am I missing something? Seems like a dust/pet hair concern.

Bernie: I am once again asking for you VKB to please sell a left-hand Modern Combat Ultimate Grip. Seriously though, this would be a huge game changer for hosas having all the extra buttons on the left side to bind to stuff as well.

The frame can fit 5 detents. But the software with PimpMySTECS=1 sees only 4, any chance of activating it? I want to use those for flaps detents.

I have a Glad NXT Right Premthat I purchased earlier this year, its a good flight stick. When I look at the STECS throttle I see those white switches and they just look cheap to me. I'm hopping these is not the case.

I bought my STECS a month ago 🤦🏻‍♂️ if I had known I’d have waited for the mkII oh well, this does address one of my only two gripes with the throttle though so glad to see it.
