does this work with the STECS Max ?! ... can you guys please make this more confusing, I think it is not confusing enough to understand what works with what...
You can get the Max version mounted on UCM by removing the MFH, installing the new base plate as shown in this video and attaching the STEM unit to the perforated UCM bracket.

When I dismounted the bottom plate, some thinner rubber part fell out. Any idea what that is? I use the stecs standard.
Could be the rubber cap which covers the external wires hole.
Just got a STECS standard myself, trying to remove the USB connector was truly an ordeal. The housing is way too tight!
