    This is the sickest Yukon I’ve ever seen. The engineering is unmatched. I have the 23 Denali but am going to switch to the at4 suburban and when I do I will give you guys a call. Question, how do you open the back lift gate with that ladder? And can you mount a light bar on the front of that roof rack or would that make too much noise?

    Hey great videos, watch them all the time. Quick question does the package with the shocks give you a higher lift than just the preload collar lift? Descriptions both say 3in in front but the backs are different? Thanks!

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  7 месяцев назад +3

      So our kit that is called a 3/1 it is 2.35” in the front and 7/8” in the rear. The TRD KIT we now offer is a full 3” front and 1 5/8” rear. It requires either the red axles or the silver axles. This is because the black axle cups are not long enough and will cause the CV’s to fall out. The black axles are only really good to a max of 2.5”.

    Will the front suspension with all the spacers (top and bottom’s) eventually settle the front end to provide some sort or rake for the rear to sit just a tad higher?
    Or will it remain completely leveled ?

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  4 месяца назад

      It’s actually about a 1/4 inch lower in the front then rear but you can leave out the half inch shim in the front to be 3/4” lower lower or set the ring clip on the lower setting instead of the top setting. The strut has 2 settings

    Question / The TRD PRO strut needs a WD collar to to be at the same position as the TRD factory lift kit strut, but the TRD offroad strut stock collar is at the same position as the TRD factory lift kit strut. The TRD PRO is lifted 1.1 inch on factory fox struts . Does that mean the TRD PRO have a more stiff coil spring?? You mentioned that the TRD PRO and TRD offroad both have 9 wound springs

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  Год назад +1

      That is correct both the TRD PRO and TRD kit spring have 9 windings creating a taller spring which in return creates more preload which would cause it to be stiffer. When we made our collar to work on the factory spring we did not as much preload which made a really nice ride. We did not go for as much lift as the TRD kit offers but this allows for a more rebound. We are putting a full kit together for the consumer that will offer a total package for a fraction of the price.
