I'm from Durban, I work in Umhlanga so not too far from King Shaka. I actually have my PPL, got it on a Sling 2 aircraft a lil while ago. I have never flown a plane with a Jet engine before, was very interesting to see the inside of this plane and the procedure for start up and take-off. Loved it!!!

Sweet, I live in Durban South Africa and fly often too and fro. I live approximately 17 Km away from King Shaka Airport and from time to time of its North East wind blowing, I can see the air planes approach for landings from the south.

Is it just me or does the CJ4 use way too much fuel? I did a flight from Virginia(in Durban) to Cape Town and it ran out even with full tanks. I've just been sticking with the TBM at the moment. I'm from Durban so I've been doing a lot of flights around the area, landing the Icon on Inanda dam and so on.
