What an insane video, I'm blown away every time. The fact that this is a simulator is just completely mind blowing. I wonder how long it'll take for Nvidia to make a photorealistic person addon that will add realistic-looking moving people to terminals etc... that might be a cool collaboration between Nvidia and MSFS
Nvidia wouldn't do that. They are in the hardware business, they aren't going to make add-ons for a game. However DLSS support is coming for FS2020 in a few months, that will help performance significantly.
@@FoDaddy Hmm interesting... the only reason I mentioned it was because I've been playing around with their AI face generator a couple days ago and was thinking maybe they could use something like that to make photorealostoc people in 3D

My barracks was between the chow hall and the recruit PX. I know they have basically redone the entire depot, but I think you can see the octagonal shaped PX if you look close enough and the new barracks where I was on the 1st deck follow side
Did you notice the 'camera' quickly re-focusing as it panned across the windshield at 11:54? Great attention to detail. (Although I'm quite ignorant on computer graphics - maybe this happens 'automatically'??).
Yep. A lot of games and simulators let you enable a feature where it uses a lightweight algorithm to figure out what you're trying to focus on based on your camera movement, and simulate the blurring effect of focusing with a high-quality camera. I've heard some software might actually be using this to *improve* performance at some point by rendering the blurred/unfocused parts in low resolutions instead of applying a blurring filter afterwards; cool stuff all around
The commentary alone makes this video better than any other flightsim video out there. I appreaciate this. Do one on Phoenix, the approach and landing is very interesting. I remember going there almost 2 decades ago, and even back then I was amazed at the approach.
In the Summer of 1985, I spent 13 weeks aboard MCRD San Diego which sits just on the other side of the fence watching airplanes takeoff waiting for the day i would leave and never look back! That Day was Sept 20, 1985!
Remember the first flight sims on the Commodore 64, showing just a few vector lines? Jeez... in those days we would have sold our mother for such graphics 😃👾
WOW…. At 10.42 when the plane is on its runway for take off, an other jet is rolling across the runway. When the plane is lifting, the nose on a Jetblue is on the runway. That is not realistic... I hope.
Totally. Flight anxiety can ruin an amazing experience. Relief comes in many forms, and an amazing simulation can do just that. Plus, it's just so darn pretty!🙂

I absolutely love how you narrate and edit these videos soo well, but then include memes and easter eggs here and there. Fabulous! Keep up the great work good sir.
2:16 most realistic part
Amazing! I really liked your comment at 10:55, haha! I was like, what the heck is that airplane doing on the runway!?
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.
This is quite simply incredible. How far flight simulators have come and this level of detail is amazing
Nice calculations i love that speed of planes
The sounds are super realistic! I work as a flight attendant for a brazilian airline and I when I put my headphones it felt like I was actually in an actual plane! Even the landing sounds accurate! The fuselage sounds and all! The only thing that felt weird was landing without feeling the impact hahahaha
I couldn't do your job for all the money in the world ahaha, I hate flying
@@dottorcarlone hahaha but it is pretty safe :)
@@ynacyr4 yeah i know that, but i prefer to feel my ass on the ground ahahaha
Hey lol💚😮💨
This is incredible! I used to play msfs 5.0 when it launched, I can see the franchise is still going strong :D
As someone who flies from San Diego to Newark and back at least twice a year, I can tell you that that approach is entirely realistic. I'm always thinking, "So, like, the pilot does see how close we are to those buildings, right?"
Ridiculously amazing. I swear at some points it's just indistinguishable from reality. Great video.
A very high level visual experience and an excellent flight
with a clean landing. It was a pleasure being on board with you , Sir.
👍
It's a game. Chill. Roleplaying a flightsim is akward.
@@cyphercracker There are people who enjoy good YT videos. That's what it's for. What's your problem? Well, maybe your shallow boyfriend will draw you a guide one day.
Graphics so good I can actually see my house lol
The approach was very good done and the landing was
absolutely smooth
The landing in the end was smooth I’ll give 9/10 for that and 10/10 for effort
This was so realistic that I had to wait in a cramped line for hours just to be confronted about one tube of toothpaste I had and then I finally made it to my gate but I was then randomly selected for additional screening. Great work!
10:48 the plane almost collision
probably the last day ever for the atc
they almost do the tenerife part 2
The graphics are incredible!! 👍✈️
I worked on Banker's Hill for many years. While you get used to the sound and ignore it after a while, for me it never got tiring see the planes come in so low, especially the big ol' FedEx airplanes.
Boston is my home airport and to see it so well modeled in this video makes me incredibly happy! Great editing once again! I'm always impressed!
@@marwinsteiner5817 Again, Nvidia wouldn't do that. Microsoft or Asobo might though. Nvidia might give studios tools to do what you're proposing (similar to DLSS or hairworks, etc.) But they aren't going to do artwork for a specific game themselves, that's not their business model.
Epic games Meta Human would be pretty good
Nvidia making an addon for a game is like Chevron or Exxon making car seats... 🤦♂
I've lived on Banker's Hill for 13 years. It's still amazing to see planes so low over my neighborhood
Wow this simulator is impressive
It's so surreal being on a flight and leaving the ground from the runway. I don't know if it amazes other people but it really fills me with awe:)
I love it so much, when I fly, I LOVE having connecting flights hahaha.
Thanks for making me cry into a corner realizing how bad my graphics are
LMAO
Hope one day you can have a nice set-up
So no one is gonna talk about the plane that went onto the runway while taking off @ 10:50
10:45 what the heck is that other plane doing there!?
Incredible detail in graphics and sound.
The pilot was having a bad day, just broke up with his wife. Got drunk and decided to fly back home to sort it out.
your videos are literally so detailed! the transitions are amazing: your computer is amazing and your flight knowledge is *outstanding*. i enjoy every single video no matter how long it is
Holy smokes. The physics, details, graphics, rendering distance is absolutely brilliant.
My imerssion was shatered at 18:42, when 2 cars decided to do a suicide jump from the highway bridge.
Flown into this airport dozens of times. Also watched dozens of landings from MCRD wishing I was on one of those planes! lol. Pretty accurate as far as I can tell. Very cool.
Or after lights out and “Taps” plays, afterwards hearing the airplanes taking off wishing that was you on that plane lol
My barracks was between the chow hall and the recruit PX. I know they have basically redone the entire depot, but I think you can see the octagonal shaped PX if you look close enough and the new barracks where I was on the 1st deck follow side
Fun Fact: Southwest Airlines do not use a single Airbus plane. It's all Boeing!
Great Flight !! The realism is incredible, really love the sound of the engines, awesome landing !!
They simulated the passenger conversations well, but should have added a couple please half-ass applauding in the end lol as per reality.
The ultralight propeller sounds instead of the actual jet engine sound isn’t doing it for me. Beautiful plane, and simulation though
That is real 737 sound I recorded. It usually sounds like this during takeoff if your seat is in front of the engine (engine blades go supersonic)
10:17 The audio is so good!
10:39 I love the mod audio call out.
10:47 Thanks MSFS2020! Immersion gone!
It's not like it never happened - KLM and 747 had that accident
@@pr0gengoo96 yeah but that was an accident/anomaly. This is just common in MSFS.
1:04...so realistic! They even included the emotionally detached balding husband and angry wife who knows she can do better. Amazing.
I have no clue about landing a plane. But that landing looked clean af, sir! Well done!
Well you spoiled the end for me
Well that’s some butta right there mate
@@allenlovesroblox8450 BRUH 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@sirbughunter I know I was looking at comments😂🤣
@@allenlovesroblox8450 And you didn't expect him to smoothly land? 💀
Remember the first flight sims on the Commodore 64, showing just a few vector lines? Jeez... in those days we would have sold our mother for such graphics 😃👾
I love how they added MCRD right next to the airport. That’s making this so real for me🤩
Amazingly amazing. I wanted to call security about those crazy passengers in the terminal.
WOW…. At 10.42 when the plane is on its runway for take off, an other jet is rolling across the runway. When the plane is lifting, the nose on a Jetblue is on the runway. That is not realistic... I hope.
I just flew today and this is soooo accurate! Also this video helps with my flight anxiety to see how the process works
Totally. Flight anxiety can ruin an amazing experience. Relief comes in many forms, and an amazing simulation can do just that. Plus, it's just so darn pretty!🙂
I'm actually going to buy this game to help with my flight anxiety. All of the cabin sounds are 100% accurate. I need to hear them often so I can get used to it.
A very good landing, I could almost feel those wheels spooling on the ground :)
You said in your intro youll fly airbus a737!...its a boeing 737 dude!...
This is absolutely magnificent wow the graphics and everything is insane
Absolutely brilliant production of this highly realistic presentation. The minute detail of that flight deck and all other external visuals is truly jaw-dropping. My copy of MSFS 2004 will start gathering dust the minute I assemble a computer capable of handling MSFS 2020. What a difference 16 years makes. Wow! Subbed. You are da man!
Me too. My last edition of MSFS was 2002 and i enjoyed so much with add on Terra Mesh of Europe by Lago. I supposed that was the best of the best..... Ahahah so sweet! :D
gangnam style and the arguing couple caught me off guard 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fr 😭
Those shots out the windows are insane, looks incredibly realistic.
