Every now and then I need a refresher and here you are!
I have owned 2 Godox tt600s for almost three years and I didn't know that they were capable of controlling other flashes or of becoming optical slaves. Great video!
My go-to instructional video when I haven't shot with the TT600 in a while and have forgotten how to use use it. Clear and concise explanations. Thanks!

Awesome review! Keep up the excellent work!
My new X2Tc controller arrived and I tested it with a borrowed TT685N (Nikon version) as the slave. No problems so, I’ll now go ahead and buy my first TT600. The TT600 looks like the best value flash of the whole Godox range. Basic & simple with really big, easily seen LCD panel.
You lovely man. Thank you so much for taking the time to make a really clear instructional video which saved me a lot of mewling and cursing!
Thank you Alex, very informative and easy to understand tutorial.

I didn't know that this Manual flash has so much features. Thanks 🙏. I mean optical slave ? Who would have thought. Now I am using my inbuilt flash covered with tape and control the subtle light it emits to control the TT600 in a side

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you so much for this! I'm genuinely considering buying a second one if it functions as a transmitter, and the transmitters aren't THAT much cheaper... I could then use a more complex studio set up if I want
yay I really liked your video, thanks. I am experimenting with film medium format!
That's awesome! Where can we see your medium format images?

New sub!
Hello Alex, thank you for the video. I have owned these flashes for over a year now, no problem with them. But once the batteries in one of them died the other day, the flash reset itself and i could not figure out how to re configure it back to what i was using (optical slave mode fired by wireless trigger on a camera).
Your video helped me, thanks, have a nice day.
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad I could help :-)
thank you Alex you have answered questions I had about the good speed lights namely that they all have receivers built in
thank you and as always a great video stay safe
Glad to help
Hi thanks for the video! Just wondering when in radio slave mode and you have a xpro trigger does the trigger send the ttl information to the flash or do you have to manually set it still?
thank you for the insight. somewhere within your video you mentioned that this flash might have a red eye correction feature. is there a way of enabling and disabling the feature?
very nice video. Will this flash also control flashpoint Xplor 4000?
Gracias por el video Alex! I live in New York City and am thinking of buying the Gordox TT600. I like the large display. My other flashes (Canon and Yongnuo) have tiny text and are hard to read. The TT600 is easy to read and easy to manage. Question. I noticed online that the TT600 has a side port or door that looks like it can be powered externally? Can the TT600 be powered externally? All the best to you Alex.
Thank you for the good video.
Is there an option to deaktivate the AF Light in the front of the flash? I have the flash as an wireless slave and have the OS deaktivate. But... The light is blinking and I hate it.
Thank you so much for your video! I thought my flashes were broken because I kept clicking the channel/group button and it wouldn’t work.
This is EXCELLENT! He even showed the correct polarity of the batteries, which is NOT shown in the manual!
I do wish he didn't have that totally unnecessary and annoying music playing when he is speaking - it certainly didn't enhance the tutorial.
I'm glad you liked this. The music is not as loud in my latest videos 😉
Hi Alex. Very informative video. Is there a way to reset the flash back to factory defaults? I have two of these flashes and after a few months the red light blinks when I turn ON and it won’t fire the flash anymore.
