This is a quick short tutorial run through on how to get the Godox X2T radio trigger talking to the GODOX TT350o flash. You can be up and running in about 2 minutes. I am only going to use this in manual or TTL to keep it simple as possible. It has heaps more other features. Will a Godox trigger for - say, a Panasonic on a G9 fire a Godox flash TT350S (a Sony version)? I just wondered whether the actual trigger is agnostic in terms of other Godox flash units.
Good question. Not sure. I'll pin this comment to the top. Id anyone here can answer Paul. Thanks
@@robdido Thanks for that.
@@paulbailey6251 I confirm it's working, just tried with a Sony trigger and an Olympus flash and it triggers both in M and TTL mode.
@@avenger333bg That is great news!
👍 team effort 😆 appreciate your support
These companies need to start including these instruction videos by default. I was reading through the manual for my Godox x2ts and TT350 and didn't understand a thing. Watched your video in a few min and voila.
Thank you
😆 i feel your frustration. Took me a few goes to figure it so thought id document it as im always forgetting.. 🤣 thanks for comment
Much appreciated
Thank you for being quick and keeping it simple! This video was much more helpful than reading both manuals.
No worries. Yeah that little pamphlet manual you get is pretty bad and the language very confusing. Thabks for kind comment
Thank you for explaining the essentials that “Real Photographers” simply gloss over. I have the same setup as you and after half an hour of going through both manuals I saw your video and was up and running in 5 minutes.
Thanks Tony. Yeah the manual that comes with it is so bad. I struggled at first. There is a lot of other things it can do also but fir what i need this will do
Exactly
Damn setting these two up has been a nightmare till I found your channel, many thanks. why would they make these things so difficult to set up? Absolutely nothing makes sense and the manual was zero use. Thanks again Im now shooting happily in manual mode with my x2t and tt350 flash.
haha. you made me laugh. yeah the manual they give us is crap.. took me a while but got it in the end, so i made this to remind myself.. happy share it. Happy Manual modeing 🙂
You are the man! Video answered exactly what I was trying to figure out. Now i completely understand how it works. Next fun thing will be figuring out how to ad my ad200pro when it arrives. The tt350 synced perfectly thanks to your help.
Haha.. I love it when a plan comes together.. lol 😆 thanks Anthony.. that 200pro looks impressive
This is the ABSOLUTELY BEST Video on how to connect the Godox X2T and my TT350S flash! It is the absolutely best video! You explain everything and in only SIX MINUTES, and now, I am FINALLY up and running with this combination. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Thanks Ken. Happy to help. Those little manuals they give are so bloody confusing 😆
1 of the only short and sweet flash videos on the net. You made it easy. Thank you.
Thanks. Yeah. I gotta learn to make more like this.. to the point with no bullshit. Its what most people use youtube for
Thank you so much for your video. I just received my X2T and my head hurt looking into the manual.
You kept it simple and super clear.
I can't thank you enough, my flash is working 😁🌼👍
Thanks. I did a vid to remind myself each time lol as the manual sucks 😆 glad it's helping others too.
Roberto your instructions work so well. I just blinded myself lol!! These instructions are short and to the point.
Thanks Edward. Yeah i thought I'd just do a short and to the point without waffling on. The manual they give you is crap. It can do heaps more things but for the basics this is all you need. 😀
This was exactly what I needed to get this thing going, thank you so much!
Cool. Yeah i keep forgetting so had to remind myself
Hands down the best tutorial on the Godox X2T, thank you so much!
No worries. Thabks for kind comment 👍
the exact video i am finding for my newly bought Godox and EM1! thanks bro!!!
Cool setup and camera combo. Thanks Jason. 😊
Short and sweet, best tutorial I found!
Yeah. I made it quick just to get it up and running without need for full tutorial
Thanks man - this was a great and clear instructional guide to a very esoteric set of gear!
Cool. My pleasure. I need to remind myself too each time how to setup 😆

No worries. Thanks 👍
Great Video. I used this to configure the Godox X2T Fuji trigger to fire my Godox TT350 Nikon flash. Thanks!

Amazing! Thank you so much for making such a difficult setup a breeze
Cool. Yeah that manual they gave us was crap 😆
Thank you so much for this, this got me going super fast!

Thank you for a brilliantly practical tutorial

Cool video! Simople and straight forward
Thanks. I keep forgetting 😆 how to do it haha
Thanks, great help. All sorted now.
Thanks Denis.. all good 👍
Coming from using sync cords, big strobes, and a meter in the studio, I found switching to the wireless trigger and speedlights for outdoors a little confusing at first. After watching this quick video it all became easy peazy very quickly! Great post mate - cheers!
Funny ive never used a sync cord. I should buy one one day. Yeah i thought od do a vid to remind myself. Those dodgy manual's they give you are so hard to read 😆. Thabks for comment 👍
@@robdido It blows my mind how much the industry has changed over the last thirty-plus years. Good gear has become affordable and digital plus web tutorials have allowed a lot more people to join the ranks of "pro" shooters, bypassing the traditional route of Art School and then a tenure as an assistant. As a result wages and good-paying gigs have decreased dramatically compared to film days. I am a bit conflicted over the whole issue. Anyway, such is life eh - time keeps marching on and you have to keep up or get left behind. - Cheers mate!
@@drewcunningham2 no you are right. Tech has made most amatures semi pro or wanna be pros 😆 I remember in the 90s i wanted to be a photographer but it was hard and had to go to school etc.. even bloody phones are nearly there.. yes making a living is now hard too
Great video! One additional thing that was messing me up is you need to set the ID to OFF for the TT350 to work.
Thanks Paul.. good catch
This comment saved my life my gosh thank u
it also work for X2T trigger with TT600. thankyou so much👊🏻 you save my life as well
You are a saviour
Where operating instructions fail miserably...explained here wonderfully quickly and simply.....Thank you
Lol.. thanks. The manual is frustrating 😆
Thank you for this video.

Cool. Ykur welcome. Im always forgetting how to sync them
Thank you very much for helping me out.
No worries. Thanks for comment. Happy flashing 😆
What a great tutorial. Thank you 👍
Thanks Paul. Tried to get it all simple as i always forget the steps
@@robdido Mate, I was struggling for hours until I found your video, cheers
Thanks Roberto, I've been thinking about getting the flash trigger to go with my TT350 O. It seems simple enough. I've been using a cheap remote slave flash with the Godox and firing it from the pop-up flash but your way looks more reliable and versatile. Mind you, my slave flash unit was only £10 and does the job.
Its way overkill for me just mucking around. I too just used onboard flash to trigger. Its handy but really only if your a pro with heapsnof lights erc
Good instructional video. I have the other trigger by Godox, but, to be honest, I hardly ever do flash photography.
Same. I bought this 1 year ago. Only just opened it.. lol
Thanks for the video. I understand more now.
No worries. Thanks 👍
Thank you for good explanation👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cool. Thanks for feedback. Appreciated 😀
Thank you! Really helpful.
No worries. Thanks Roxana for commenting. Much appreciated 👍

Sir..... I love you, thanks for the tutorial mate
No worries. Thanks. Set it up once and good to go whenever needed
thank you. excellent video!
Thanks. Its a great flash. Easy to pick up and go once it's all setup first time
This was helpfull. By watching this video I got how it works and how to set up 3 strobes.
Thanks. Yes its great for studio setep to control many strobes. 😀 and easy top buttons to change
Amazing video thank you
Thanks Gabriel. Ira a great liitle 📸. It can also be triggered with another flash, doesn't necessarily need a radio trigger. But radio trigger so much easier
Thank you so much for going to all the trouble, I have exactly the same Godox setup and have NEVER been able to set it up properly until now. Their site was NO help.
Cool. Thanks. Yeah took me a while to figure it out and did a vid to remind myself 😆 each time.
thanks mate, it helped me a lot..!
No worries. Thanks for the like. 👍
thank you for the helpfull video!
Cool. Your welcome. Thanks for kind comment 👍
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Very good explanation - detail and eazy to understand/follow. Godox manual isn't eazy to understand/follow.

Súper bien.. Aunque se algo muy básico del idioma inglés..
I don't speak English, but it's very well explained. Thank you
gracias. configurarlo una vez y luego siempre está listo
thanks a lot
Cool. Thanks for nice comment. Happy to share
😂😂😂 you are a funny dude!
😆 Jerry the side kick
Thank u
Thanks. Short and simple once i remind myself haha 😄
thanks!
Thanks 😊
thanks I wasnt sure if thats all I needed or if I need a receiver also, ok the flash itself is the receiver lol thanks
You can also use the onboard flash of the camera to trigger the flash if you dont have x2t..
Thank you! I like Gerry!
She's a good model 😆
Thank uuuuuuuu
No worries 👍
Thank you, do you know maximum trigger to flash distance ?
They reckon it can reach 100m
Спасибо большое. Я так долго не могла разобраться
Добро пожаловать
Mines not working 😕 it works when I hit the test button but not when it’s on the hot shoe even tho it says it’s detecting the camera on the xt2
Sorry to hear. Try a factory reset of camera maybe that might help. Usually this works
what is that other ON/OFF button on the side?
it turns on/off the auto focus assist. When on the trigger will emit an infrared beam to help focus and it will turn off the camera AF red light... I think.. I dont use it but I did read that its useless for mirrorless cameras...
un genio

It is very important that the IP setting be in the OFF state, otherwise it simply does not connect
Thanks
Good tip.
Hi, thanks for your tutorial. I have a question please: is using this xt2 on my lumix camera to trigger a godox flash from another brand, for example the Sony tt350s, will this work? Thanks
Hi. I dont own one so not 100% sure but it says it can control any flash with Built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System and the sony tt350 has that as to all the tt350 flashes.. sorry cant be 100% sure but it looks like it can
What if my camera symbol doesnt pop up
See is the x2t is on the hotshoe all the way and locked in. Try putting flash on hotshoe to see if its working ok
Could you pls show us how to use HSS ? Thanks
I will try and do a vid. In the mean time @robtrek has a video you can check out ruclips.net/video/YVWuVC65xB4/видео.html
@@robdido thank you so much for recomending it , i will see it 😊
Nice video. Can the Godox X2T for a SONY, control a Godox Nikon flash?
Not sure prob not. The manuals dont mention it and i cant find anyone who has experimented online.
Hey, so for a two flash set up, can I say put one flash on Channel A and another on B and have different intensities on both, but both fire at the same time?
Yes that will work. Each channel is independent
Hello. Do you now if you put a flash on the top hot shoe of this X2T it will take the “group A” settings of the X2T even it is not set to slave mode or it runs separately as a single unit?
Second question is if a flash runing on the top hot shoe of this X2T fire if the X2T is turned off?
Thank you!
1st Q... yes it worked as a single unit with a tt350 flash but i put a different little flash (fl-lm3) and that didnt fire
2nd Q... No nothing worked when xt2 was turned off
hi sir is there any high speed sync function for godox x2t and godox tt350? do you have tutorial for that too?
Yes it should do it. I'll investigate and try to make a video soon on it.
Question,
I have a sony a6000. And this exact speed light. My friend told me to buy the godox x1r receiver. However, I cannot get it to work. But it's looking like I bought the wrong thing. And I actually needed to buy this one instead?
Hi you need to check that you got the sony versions. They would be the X2T-S and the TT350-S. The letter determines the compatibility.
C=Canon
S==Sony
O=Olympus
N=NIkon
F=Fuji
P=Pentax
is there anyway to still use the distance meter while using this transmitter?
I did not know what that is. If anyone here can help Muddy please 😆
I have connected my Fuji X-T2, but somehow it is not firing 100% of the time. It's like it's only firing 70% of the photoshoot time, and sometimes it doesn't fire at all. I am somewhat frustrated. Have I missed something?
Hard to pinpoint. Pick another channel when scanning... Fully charge transmitter.. reboot.. all I can think of.. 😊
Hi.
Recently I purchased X2 T for Nikon Z6. Trigger shoes circle not fit properly n not get that "click" sound. Is it normal or not?
It shouldnt matter click. As long as it goes in hot shoe
Does the top hot shoe mount work with an Olympus flash while still transmitting tear off camera godox?
One other review mentioned that XT1 still have a generic hot shit on top. Just need verify it will take Olympus flash.
Hi. With the same setup i have in this video i put the olympus fl-lm3 flash on the top hotshoe and it didnt work. But maybe i have to set something up. I really dont know. There is nothing in the manual about the hotshoe operation. Too many variables and i dont have other flashes to test. Sorry i cant be more help.
Hey. Go to robtrek channel and ask him. He will definitely know the answer to your queation
i just cant connect my sony a7c with same trigger and glash help😢
Is your trigger and flash the sony version? X2t-s?
