Hi Rob , Happy Christmas to you and Jerry, so good to see her looking in good shape. I’ve had an EM10 mkii since 2019 and it’s a very good camera especially with the tilt screen. (It replaced a Lumix GX80). My first EM5 mkiii I bought in 2021 and frankly the “plastic” body has never bothered me it feels good on the hand. I found an EM5 mkii going at an amazing low price in a local store and bought it earlier this year. It is certainly a great camera and a good upgrade from the EM10 range. Recently I sold my EM5 mkiii and for only £100 more managed to replace it with an OM5 with a low shutter count. Couldn’t be happier, still playing with the features. I think I have finished with my buying/selling cameras for the foreseeable future. All the best to you and Jerry for 2025.

Agree that that the mark II Olympus camera’s are top notch. I could not care less about megapixels. Get close to your subject so you don’t need to crop (much). I wish they had an EM 5 type with a flip up screen, like my Lumix GX9

Yep, all about that small form factor and fun, though I do think OM System are in danger of falling behind the pack in terms of sensor and autofocus tech.

Merry Christmas to you and Jerry! I couldn't agree more Roberto, those Mark 2 upgrades covered almost everything that you would realistically need. Superb cameras and I am certainly in no rush to replace my EM10 just yet. I would point out that I had to buy my (used) EM5 mark 2 you lucky sod. But that was such a nice gesture. The OM5 mark 2 is rumoured to have a 25 megapixel sensor. Save your pennies.

The zfc doesn’t feel anything remotely like the em5 mark3 or om5. I have both those cameras and the cheap feeling kept me from getting the zfc. To be honest I didn’t think they were plastic when I first got the em5 mark 3. But I’m glad the zfc felt cheap I ended up getting the zf instead.

So glad to hear your perception of Vegas Pro is exactly like mine! I too started with Sony Vegas and just upgraded from 17 to 22. I've got a lot of catching up to do, but I am adapting not chasing DaVinci or Adobe!

My flash randomly stopped working with the trigger. So I have done this at least 20 times and it doesn’t work - when I connect the trigger to the camera and the flash to the trigger it works. Something wireless is not working.

I'm sorry, but wouldn't it be easier just to buy a digital camera? Seems janky to me.

this was an awesome video Rob, i still have my super 8 camera was my dads from the 70s when i was a teen, my sister has all the reels, mostly taken in Spain during the 70's.

I found my dads olympus e500 (he passed quite some years ago) and although it had the 1.0 firmware i wanted to update it and im glad you guys had the file. It seems this is the only current place that has it THANK YOU.... cant wait to use this camera thanks to you guys !!!
