Haha nice one Rob, I have one of these and for the money they work really well. Not sure what you called the thing Jerry was hunting at the end, but she was definitely after it 😂. Well done Jerry, keep protecting Rob from the creepy crawlies.
Despite having an array of macro lenses. I recently decided my efforts are strictly close-up. Simply don’t have the patience or perseverance of Job. Tripods, focusing rails and expensive glass would cramp my style. Great to see the best man and canine team out and about at home. Woody x
@@WoodyDemon6421win haha. Yes same here. Fiddly thing macro. It can be rewarding but yeah I'm more of a walk about with Jerry I think. 40 degrees yesterday. Raining today.. poor Jerry has to chase the next door neighbour cat this week 😆
Lol. Yes my favourite show as a kid Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. Had possums on the brain staring at 1 cent coins all day. Bloody spiders freak me out. Lol gotta love Australia. Had a cockroach the size of a bird land on my face last night.. yikes
A couple of years ago I got all excited about macro and got two lenses for the Fuji X-T4, the XF80 from Fuji and the Laowa 65mm, after photographing coins, stamps and some other “stuff” I put them away and now they make very good paperweights🤣
Haha.. same here. You'll have to upgrade to a longer focal and get some macro of Iguana 🦎 scales. Not to waste though they can double as good normal lenses. I need a Fuji in my life. Toss us between xt or xs series
I enjoyed your tutorial Roberto, but you made me laugh with Jerry's tail! I just don't have the patience for real macro, the 12-40 on its PBC setting does me fine.

Love the intro music - boing boing. Made me laugh when Jerry's tail had you thinking 'SPIDER!'

@@robdido Sounds like you don't really need macro - those things are big enough already 🪳😧

lol.. I'm thinking PBC Please Be Close? I'll have to steal that instead of RBC real bloody close 😆
@@robdido That'll teach me, I thought that you used 'Pretty Bloody Close'!!
where's that? Australia or somewhere even worse? I'm not surprised you're not fond of insects out there lol
Haha.. the news today said it's funnel-web black widow breeding season.. my nerves are a wreck 😆
