Please sir I need help.. I have the TT600 but each time I enable the HSS on the flash unit and try to trigger it with the X1 on my Canon 80D Once I click the shutter button The HSS trips off immediately and it shoots at default sync speed. So I end up not achieving the HSS
Thank you! I was in the middle of a shoot and this flash just stopped working via RT and I could not figure out why and also I could not adjust output I assumed it was broken and was considering getting a new one then thanks to you I realised I had somehow switched it to 'M.' Also I never knew there was an M mode and it might be useful in the future if I ever use ONCF
It arrived today! BUT - Trying it with my Canon 7D Mark II and my Canon T3, in Manual, power ON, both cameras displayed the message: " External flash func. settings ! This menu cannot be displayed. Incompatible flash or flash's power is turned off". What the heck is that all about? What's going on and how do I correct it? MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
You have pulled out the wide panel for zoom, does the zoom motor inside function the same as setting it from 20-200mm? Mine doesn't zoom and the motor only works from 20mm to 200mm it doesn't display 14mm when I pull out the wide panel.
I'm confused... I know that beside "radio" mode, the flash also can be triggered in "optical" mode - that when it sees a flash, it will also flash. So, having the TT600 on the camera hotshoe, and wanting to use "optical" sync, I attempt to use the "pop-up" flash on my camera, which in turn, as said, should fire the TT600 - BUT, the pop-up flash hits/collides with the TT600, and doesn't fully open, maybe not flash. I'd be trying to get the TT600 to flash without the GODOX (or any other) radio trigger, and without a remotely placed flash. BASICALLY, then - how to get the TT600 to flash when pressing the shutter button, without remote flash, without radio sync, and without a pop up flash that collides with the TT600 and may not even fire at all??????????????????????????????????????????
@@EricGibaud So, all I have to do is mount it on the camera's hotshoe, make sure that it's in Manual, not disco strobe mode, set the output power, maybe even set the zoom, then press the shutter on my Canon 7DMark II or Canon Rebel T3? Nothing else - how about camera settings for the flash? MANY THANKS!!
Yes, but I thought that if someone has the same flash, he can check and follow to set it up. But you are right, not ideal take. Sorry. Thanks for telling me.
Hi Eric, Thank you for this super simple to follow tutorial. When I turn on radio slave I get a flashing red lighton the front of the flash (just below the optical reader). Is there any way to turn this off - this light can be distracting during a shoot? Thank you
Good day to you Sir! Can I ask what battery you are using? I have a problem with my TT600, the recycle time when using full power is 30-60 seconds. I'm using a cheap battery.
I followed these steps but the trigger still is not communicating with the flash. I bought a second godox tt600 because the first I bought did the same thing but it was defective. The new one is on the right settings, channel everything. Still does not work. Is there a way to fix this or would I be better off buying a new trigger?
another option is to buy 3 or 4 AD200 as you can couple them with an accessory, it is less powerfull but indoor it is fine. Anyway 2 AD600 are really a good solution.
Wow, thank you for this indepth review! Bless
thank you!

This was the most useful tutorial I was able to find re the tt600's. Thank you very much.

Hello. Are you sure you did not by the TT600 S for Sony and not the TT600 with no S?
You have pulled out the wide panel for zoom, does the zoom motor inside function the same as setting it from 20-200mm? Mine doesn't zoom and the motor only works from 20mm to 200mm it doesn't display 14mm when I pull out the wide panel.

Sir. Can you tell me . How to reset godox tt600 to fabric setting? Please.
Thank you for the video. this was very helpful. i hope you make the video for the trigger soon.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, soon. regards
My TT600 does not trigger on my Nikon D7100 in M mode...what can I do?
You can check your flash settings in the camera. Did you get the TT600 N? Different speedlites for different manufacturers.

Hello, this is when your tt600 is of your camera. When on the camera, no need for your onboard flash, the hotshoe will trigger the tt600.

Yes that is it. Nothing else, except maybe in camera menu indicate external manual flash

Why my godox tt600 is set to full power in optical slave its giving me under expose. And when its set to 1/16 it is good
Hi, sounds like a tecnical problem, sorry
Hello sir this godox tt600 is compatible with olympus omd em10 mark 3?
Yes it is. Regards
@@EricGibaud tq sir!
What's the best mode to use?
There is no best mode, just the mode you need for what you are doing
I am sorry, Eric but it.s very hard to see the buttons

"kills condenser".... you mean the capacitor right?
Yes exactly
This was very informative. Thank you!

Panasonic eneloop white battery is the best
How to know which GN number at which zoom mm? At 200mm gn60 but what is the gn @ 24mm?
With a light meter, a 1 meter
@@EricGibaud how is that? Every zoom in/out count as 1 meter plus/minus?
Did I hear you say that you can only go into HSS OCF and not on the camera.............................that's just STUPID designer error
This is not stupid, this due to hotshoe and brand specifications.
Hiiii sir while fixing godox tt600 flash to godox sfuv6060 softbox
to shoot model. can u suggest me this combination will be good? From your point?
Hi. 60cm in square is really too small in my opinión, it limits you to close up portrait
Bravo !!!!
Had almost given up finding a decent review ad then I stumbled on your video. Very well done. Great explanatory style. All subbed up 👍

Hello. To discard a flash failure, test using one of your flash as a master and the other one as slave, then the other way around
@@EricGibaud thank you sir!🙌 I will give that a try!
Is it possible to make a studio with two godox tt600 ?
