I have watched for a long time and love the recipes and visuals for cooking. But what i love more is being aware that at one time you would say you have lost " over 100 pounds" to then "130 pounds" to now "almost 140 pounds" THIS is sooo inspiring and keeps me coming back. You are proof that this really works. ❤
These were terrific! I doubled the recipe to make 12 in my regular muffin pan with a few adjustments: Parmesan instead of mozzarella; 2 tsp rosemary; 2 tablespoons heavy cream; tablespoon crumbled goat cheese. I also needed to bake 38 minutes in my oven. Thank you, thank you for the great recipe. I now have breakfast for the next five days (after freezing some, of course).
And I have tried several of these egg bite recipes because my husband loves Starbuck's version. No one ever suggested a water bath! This will solve the problem. I've always just baked them in the oven. Thank you so much for this.
I just finished making these Anita and they're yummy. I had bought a block of Asiago cheese from a Loblaws and shredded part of it in my food processor. It's quite a strong cheese and tasted wonderful. Imagine you, getting out a video like this with all that's going on in your life with the move to Victoria! Your new place looks wonderful BTW.
I make my own cottage cheese. Basically, it's like making ricotta. It is SO much better than store bought, and much easier than I thought it would be. Plus, I frozen the extra cheese and it thawed out just fine. Finding cream without the additives is really difficult. I'm going to try a powdered heavy cream I saw online.
The Egg Bites from Starbucks are dangerous!! Yum! I tried replicating them a while ago but I’m going to try this recipe! Thanks for sharing this, Anita! 😊
I use my instant pot egg bites mold with the lids (foil leaches into your food when you use it for cooking) and cook them in my instant pot for 8 minutes with 5 minutes natural release. Delish!
Here's an idea for you: Chile relleno egg-bites. Eggs, 3-cheese blend, small can of hatch chilis. Top with sour cream... possibly a drizzle of enchilada sauce? I would do this the same way I do enchiladas or burritos. Pressure-cook, then plate and drizzle with enchilada sauce and shredded cheese, then air-fry to make it all melty. Then sour cream on top. (And avocado, if you're not carnivore.) Not carnivore, but surely keto.
Wonderful! Going to try some with a bit of ground beef mixed in too. My girls and I have been really inspired by your videos, so many great recipe ideas. Thank you
Hi Anita! Happy Thanksgiving! I’m working tomorrow. I’m making Black Friday treats for those of us who work tomorrow. I have made these gazillion times. Each time I tune to your channel. However, I cannot achieve to top crispy crust. Is it because I Bain Marie them in the oven. We enjoy listening to you. Thank you again!
Just made a version of these except I didn't have the right cheeses and they were so yummy! I used about an oz each of blue cheese, sharp cheddar and parmesan. Next time I think I'll try a double recipe with a water bath in the oven, the air fryer was a little finicky 😅 Thank you so much for the lovely video Anita! ❤
I literally just mentioned in one of my videos how I haven’t been able to find an egg bite recipe that taste anything likes the Starbucks one! I’m pretty excited to try this! Thanks, Anita!
I love Starbucks bacon egg bites! It’s the only food item I will order from there. I’m excited to try this recipe. I bought the silicone baking tray with the rack that fits in the Instant Pot just to make some of these but I haven’t used it yet.
Anita!! I just heard you say you’ve lost 140!! 🎉🎉🎉 (I used to manage a cheese shop for Wegmans food markets. The cheese is pronounced “Gree air” )😊 Hope all is going well with your new home!
Costco sells Starbucks Egg Bites now. They give you 10 for the price. I just got the Ninja Woodfire Grill which is an outdoors air fryer/grill/smoker. It is about the size of your Nina air fryer. I have a silicone burger bun pan that I think would fit in my Ninja. I will try this. I just happen to have some cottage cheese. BTW I have made sous vide egg bites in my Instant Pot. I got the baby food pan from Instant Pot that I use for the egg bites,
I love how your appliances appear and disappear throughout the video :) I also watched this at 2x speed (unintentional!)! So, it was especially fun! I clicked and ordered your LMNT deal
Starbucks Bacon Gruyere Egg Bites are so yummy! I used to imagine they were low carb, but since it's Starbucks, of course they're not. Each little one is 9g of carbs. There are 2 in an order and they're small bite sized. In a pinch, it's probably your best bet there for lower carb choices. I can't wait to try this recipe.
@@infinitespiritsongs9722 That just made my day! I looked at the Starbucks nutritional info page and in big letters they say 1 piece. I guess I thought it meant there were 2 servings?
You’re welcome. I was confused at first myself. I asked the manager of my local Starbucks and I was told 2 bites definitely are considered a serving size. There is a tiny bit of starch in the them but it’s almost the last ingredient. Not 100 percent clean but considering other options available it’s not bad when needing something on the go.
So weird to read Starbucks Menu… they have Eggwhite Wrapped in high carb bread or bun…. Can’t customise to remove them and only order the contents??…They think they are being healthy taking the most nutrient dense part of the egg out and still giving out stodgy bread wrap or buns!! Oh Lordy the fast food industry sure has a long way to go!! People should be able to customise everything not just the some of their ingredients. They cook eggs and meat, so why not offer them on their own as a choice? I don’t go to fast food places, but I think people who do should have full choices.
Hi Anita! I love your recipes. I think the pronunciation of gruyere cheese is Gree yay. That's what I remember from my French class, years ago. I just made your meat bread and it is wonderful!
I would love to buy all of your carnivore recipes in a cook book. I’m busy and I have tried to listen and take notes of print where you have a link but… would totally spend the money for a recipe book.
Wow, 140 lbs! Do you have before and after pictures? (I went from just over 200 (210?) and I'm now at 140. So up to 70 lbs. And it wasn't on purpose; it was a side-effect of going on the keto diet, which I did to treat seizures. (and it's working great!))
Okay Anita ,going to make them today my airfryer not big enough so toaster oven, water with bain marie ( which means Mary's bath invented by a woman alchemist in ancient Greece). Sorry, I just thought that info was so cool. They look so delicious, and I love gruyere. Thanks for all you do
OMG. Egg bites are fantastic. I also made your beef bread which was also excellent because and had both for supper. Thank you for your delicious recipes
Winner winner cheese bite dinner. Thanks. I cannot find clean cottage cheese but it's so easy to make ,I just make my own in about 30 minutes. Hi Anita! I enjoyed watching you! Your post came up as I was looking for egg recipes. Do you have egg salad recipe? I thought I gather the ingredients before I go shopping.
