    Everything you look at nowadays is the best everything is now you say the quest 3 is the best. I remember the days when you first started you were more critical now when I watch the reviews is always the greatest the best. I'm losing interest in your reviews they are just not realistic. If I purchased everything you say it's great I'd be broke. I know you have to pay sponsors now you weren't like that before.. I feel like I can't trust you sorry.

      like the HP Reverb G2 was so good in his reviews from 3 years ago, that HP decided to discontinue making any more headsets because of the software and hardware issues that they could never fix, and after all the negative reviews online, HP ended up abandoning the vr industry, so much for a Reverb G3, wouldn't want one anyway after buying the G2, it was a nightmare, and don't forget the good reviews on the Pimax headsets, I found out the hard way with the 8kx also, a disaster product as well, some of his reviews are good, but he overhypes everything too much

    I ended up getting the Binbok VR T3. Super comfy and comes with 2 8000mAh batteries that as far as I can tell don't make any noise. The charger for the batteries also will charge both at the same time.

    • @jedediahpelland

      @@jasonm.8749 For me, very comfortable, miles better than the stock strap. I also got a replacement facial interface as the original didn't seem to flare out enough for my face. Batteries do a good job of charging also. They keep the headset charged until the battery drains. Good thing about this is you can swap batteries and by the time the 2nd battery drains the first one will be charged back up.

      I'm not sure if I am just lucky but for me it greatly extends my battery life. It doesn't keep the headset at 100% but it doesn't go below 80% for me. I guess if you're playing for 8 hours or more it may be an issue but that's assuming you never take a break at all.
      I don't really see the issue tbh. He also did mention that it keeps it to 80%>

      I have it and battery works fine. The Bobo battery keeps it charged until the battery runs out then the quest 3 battery starts being used. I know those RUclipsrs said they had problems, but I just got one and it working good. Maybe they changed the battery on the new shipments, idk

    • @exvoctur
      @exvoctur 10 месяцев назад +2

      Currently I'm using Zybervr neckband which works perfectly, you probably can use any powerbank with the right output at least 18W+ but I couldn't find a known battery headstrap that works fine because they reused the same batteries that powered quest 2 which needs only 10W from what I know so we probably will wait a bit longer for actually working battery headstraps.

    The battery is rated at 5V 2.6A which is 13W and that isn’t enough to fully power Quest 3 while in use which means it will drain the internal battery.

    • @xKenn
      @xKenn 10 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah...there's really no point in having multiple BoboVR batteries. It's probably better to buy a 30000mAh power bank if you want to play for hours lol Just have to make sure it can do 9V at 2A or higher.

      @@robertweekes5783 Even if it drains slowly, you can't "play forever" like Sebastian says in the video. Once the internal battery is drained, you can't just swap out the BoboVR battery and keep playing.

    • @pikas4
      @pikas4 10 месяцев назад

      The power supply is 18W and allows you to play and charge the goggles at the same time, but 13W is enough for gaming, in Red Matter 2 or Grid Legends with high resolution and 90 Hz it does not discharge the Quest 3, even every 10-12 minutes the goggles reach +1%, unfortunately this battery lasts just over an hour. Older bobovr batteries were 3A and charge the goggles faster, but they also empty faster and are hot 😅. Additionally, when the quest is charged above 80%, recharging from the external battery is slower and an additional clatter can be heard. Bobovr needs to make a 9V battery.

    • @xKenn
      @xKenn 10 месяцев назад

      @@pikas4 They're using the same battery, it's 5V3A = 15W. So no, 13W isn't enough. Even 18W is barely enough, people seem to be having mixed experiences, some claim it drains even when plugged into the wall...Maybe BoboVR will release a B3 battery once all this is settled.

    I’ve only had the M3 pro for a few days and sure it’s great… but I swear it causes me to sweat more, which is a deal breaker for longer sessions. It’s much less breathable than the standard elite strap. Using it without the facial interface is amazing though, works incredibly well.

  • @Calisto34
    @Calisto34 10 месяцев назад +5

    I have the M3 Pro. I played The Room VR: Dark Matter last night on my Quest 3 and got about two hours out of the Bobo B2 battery and there was still one led lit when I finished playing so I could have continued. I also had set maximum resolution for the game using Quest Games Optimiser. The Quest 3 battery was still at 100%. So for me it works well but I know it'll vary depending on the game. I really do love the comfort of the M3 Pro, it just isn't fatiguing and doesn't hurt my face. I'm not sure how it'll be for playing action games though because of the slight sideways wobble, but it's perfect for everything else.

    BoboVR M3 is one of the OK strap for Quest 3 so far. For me, I DIY halo strap with ultra low weight material , no use face pad instead ultra flexible light blocking plates. So now total weight of my Q3 = 573 grams. My battery pack = 10k mAh mounted on belt like Off-hand holster in RDR2.

    I was going to buy it intially but besides the stocking issues, another reviewer reckoned an Elite style strap (Zyber VR) was more comfortable and you can also wear it without the facial interface just like the Bobo. I have also seen reports of humming coming from those batteries. I would wait till they have a new battery out that can deal with the added power requirements of the Q3, being that those ones weren't designed for it.

    I did end up buying, knowing full well about the battery problems. I wanted the Quest pro mode which is really cool and the comfort is hard to beat. Battery sucks. Their battery dies so fast. They really need to address this. There are other models, but not may offer Quest Pro mode. Quest mode is cool and useful. But 2 problems with it. One, if that I feel without the padding, it's more vulnerable to falls. The other is that one needs to adjust it ever so slightly to maintain focus, even with the pancake lenses. With the default gasket, no problem. Still the Pro mode is pretty useful.

    For me it is not very comfortable. I have tried with and without the little strap on the front. When I compare it to the quest 2 one this one does not have the adjustments as the quest 2 one has. I like the top part to be a little further up my head and the hinge does not allow it because it hits the part of the quest 3 it attaches to on the side. The quest 2 does not do this and can be adjusted more. I do not use the little strap on the quest 2 version because I like it higher than the strap allows. Anyways I think they need to do some more design work and have the same adjustability the quest 2 one has. Oh well for me at least lol.

      The con is that the cushioning on your forehead has folds witch leaves marks on your face. The cushioning is designed flat and then bend, which caused the folds to appear. The face cushioning of the Quest 3 itself is designed in a curve and therefore has no folds.
      I don't like it when a headset leaves marks on my face.
      Also, you can't really adjust the support on your forehead higher, because the connection points of the Quest 3 (where you have to connect the BoboVR onto) are in the way. You can overcome this by sliding the BoboVR a little bit to the back, but that causes a smaller FOV, because your eyes are further away from the lenses that way.
      The battery for me and a lot of other people is fine though. With Virtual Desktop it keeps the battery of the Quest 3 at 100%. Haven't tested it enough in standalone mode. Not sure what causes al the different experiences.
