I met a South African couple when I was admitted in the hospital in Australia for cancer, and they gave me $50 cash after chatting with me! I said no, I can't accept this as I have enough money.. and thanked them. They were kind people. I've also met some other south africans here in Australia and they've been kind.

In fact, Adelaide Tambo told a great story about how on Christmas they would leave an open chair at the table for Nelson Mandela, the president of the ANC. I doubt the ANC would have survived without the work Oliver Tambo did when he was in exile. It was through the sheer work, will and his diplomacy that the party survived for as long as it did while banned in SA.

That’s a boutique hotel. It’s a small, intimate hotel. More private and less people. We do have big hotels in the city
It’s a Guest house sir, you can find way better accommodation options if you book a hotel or Airbnb in South Africa.
