- Feeling like a brand new family today after finally catching a good night’s sleep! It seems we're getting the hang of this time difference in the Philippines, and what better way to celebrate than by diving into the heart of Manila in search of some truly authentic Filipino cuisine. I can't even begin to express how excited I am about this!
There's something about being here, searching for those flavors that I remember from when I was a little girl, that's just so incredibly special to me. It's like stepping back in time, reconnecting with my roots through every bite. From the savory adobo to the sweet, sticky rice of suman, every dish is a trip down memory lane, and I'm here for all of it.
Todays vlog is our little family wandering through Manila, on a quest to find and savor the foods that are stitched into my childhood memories. It's more than just eating; it's about sharing a piece of my heritage with Troy and the kids, and watching their faces light up with each new taste.

you guys are in the philippines; you should try the local 'Jollibee' that's the McDonalds version in the philippines, their chicken joy is way better match with their original spaghetti, they are the one who introduce this first in the philippines.

How can they not have bottled water are u kidding me ...U been saying how much the Phillppines has to offer & put soo much energy saying they dont have something simple as bottled water....God bless the Philippines
Well they have bottled water. We just couldn't seem to find any at the market. Lots of fresh fruit smoothies for sale and also some coconut water but it was sold out!
