@@samuelmaynard84 I have the canon R6. I'm a "professional" basketball photographer but I do all sorts of photography. Restricting myself to one "genre" would be an absolute crime. You still can’t magnify while recording. They still put that tiny little red dot to tell you are recording. No shutter angle. When switching to high frame rate and you go to turn it back off it takes you to FHD when I was recording in 4K 60 before I switched to high frame rate. All very simple fixes that videographers want. Once I played with the Sony FX3 I had to make the switch.
I'm using the FX3 tomorrow so hopefully it doesn't sway me😂 it'll be a stupid financial decision to switch anyway I love my canons and the R6 II is great. You shouldn't expect shutter angle on a camera like this as it's not a cinema camera

Considering the R6ii or the R5ii when it comes out.
I have been photographing for a long time i was using 5Dmarkiii and 60D . I am a complete rookie at video just know the basic but i am confused should i get a R6ii or R5C . I have invested in 8 canon EF lense. I wanted to get compltely into interior photography and videography . I was also adding a wide angle RF 15-35 2.8 but i am worried if R5C or R6ii will work perfectly with DJI RS2 i have a RS2 . I know new canon line will be coming later but cant wait.
Either of them cameras are amazing for video. R5C is a cinema camera, that might not be needed, especially as a starter video camera, R6 2 is a lot cheaper and also amazing and both work with RS2. If you have the money choose any of them, pick R5C, however battery life isn't the best on it so may need a lot of batteries or an external battery
can you confirm if r6ii will work completely with dji rs2 and what about the wide lens for interior and video is RF15-352.8 worth it or should i go for the 14-35 f4 @@samuelmaynard84

@ishanagarwalphotography yeah it will work, the RS2 can support a heavy payload, it'll have it on the DJI website what cameras are compatible with it, if go for the 15-35 becas of the F/2.8 but it is a lot more money. Howeve you could probably save a lot of money but getting the EF 24-70 F/2.8 or sigma/tamron with the Ef-Rf adapter

Uncrop 4K 60P makes it the better choice.
There is something off with the R6 mark 2, the images are overly sharp, almost artificially sharp. People say it has to do with the adjusted low pass filter or some artificial sharpening system. This problem does not occur in the original R6 and R5, where the balance is just right.
I've not noticed anything so far I'm loving it, however Ive not even had it a month yet
Just wish there was a 20mm F1.8 RF the 16 is to wide and distorted for me
What about the 24mm F/1.8? That looks like a good lens
@@samuelmaynard84 not wide enough, I generally use a 20mm for interior exterior shots 24mm groups of people near to me and 50mm portrait and product or details. Canon have the 24 and 50 f1.8 RF just need that 20.
Sony now have the Tamron 20-40mm, so Im looking at the A7R5 for that, it covers me with the 27mp crop at 40mm giving me 60mm.
With r6 mark ii what happens when you have five people in the frame? Can you tell the camera to stay with one particular face and not jump about?

For video only, is the Canon R6 Mark II better than Panasonic GH6 which has more video perks?
I don't know much about the GH6, however I prefer full frame over micro four thirds. Personal choice and before we had Canon at work they had the GH6 and returned it because of a problem with the highlights I think, can't remember what it was tho

Your first reason is the only reason why I probably won’t buy this camera. We stills photographers do not care about video features.
This video is not just aimed at photographers that's why, I love the video features. Canon should make a Stills only body like their cinema cameras. They can make the cameras cheaper or the same price but improve the photography specs. Idk I just think it'll be nice to choose either a stills camera, really good hybrid or a cinema camera
Canon all the way! I hate sony menu, handling amd colours… just not my cup of tea, dont have much time to edit all those thousands of wedding photos…
So do I man I don't like the ergonomics or menus either. Just not a friendly user experience at all. Canon are the best! Especially with this R6 mark II!

Eh. The only advantage over the A7 IV is the uncropped 4K60. 33 MP file sizes are great.
Of course they are but the 24mp sensor is great, both cameras are amazing I just prefer Canon
I love canon r6 mark 2 but sad truth is that Sony crushes it with dynamic range cuz canon is the worst customer friendly company ever and never puts clog 2 and they simply could do that like Sony does for all their cameras
I wish they put Clog 2 in but I guess that's what their cinema cameras are for.
