You've got this all wrong. Doesn't matter your down payment. Number 1, you'll be required to put a large down payment down if your credit is bad. Number 2, if you're credit is terrible you're going to have an interest rate so high it wouldn't financially make any sense to throw the down payment to the dealership. Financial advise, build your credit first and pay your bills on time for a year and circle back

Facts I went through credit game and I’m at the end and about to add trade lines I started with 520 n now I’m at a 669 without the trade line hopefully I hit a 740 when I add two trade lines but I was told that it can boost it more then that it depends on the trade lines I get

Only buy a car that you can afford to buy in cash twice over. Then, finance it anyway, and invest the cash in an index fund with an average yield higher than the interest of the loan.
Why nobody ever mentions just goin to ur bank or CU for the car loan and cut out the dealership you’ll have lower apr 🫠
