Get a medium and deep 6th pans or pots that fit over/into each other. Put the deep one over heat with a little water til light boil. Put butter in med pot/6th pan, place into deep pot/6th pan, and clarify the butter over 1 hr. Gently pour the clarified butter into oven safe container leaving the solids behind. Add a buttload of garlic, and cook at 300°f for 45 min or however long to brown the garlic. Then follow the same method as in the video and you're good! Practice makes perfect!

I grow my own garlic. If you use that at the beginning of a dish you are defeating the purpose of growing it yourself. A decent idea is to just add half at the beginning and half at the end if you really want that early garlic flavor. Heat over time breaks down the complexity of it.
