  • 🌡️ *Why Might Your Injection Site Feel Warm?* 🌡️
After a PRP or bone marrow cell injection, you might notice some warmth around the treated area. This is due to the growth factors in PRP stimulating new blood vessels and cells to the site. Bone marrow cells also directly affect other cells and release growth factors that promote blood vessel formation, causing increased temperature and a sensation of warmth.
However, it's important to be vigilant for signs of infection. Watch out for:
    - Redness
    - Swelling
    - Significant increased pain
    - Fevers greater than 101.5°F
If you experience any of these symptoms, or if you're concerned, always contact your medical provider who performed the procedure/injections immediately.
    Stay informed and stay safe!
