I’m trying to learn some new editing software so this week I thought I’d do something different as a practice project.
This video is for entertainment purposes only. I do not own the movie clips or music shown in this video.

I love the fact that the music was muffled when the POV moved outside the elevator. As if Captain America was just radiating Free Bird from his body while fighting.

Why can't marvel have choreographed fight scenes like the winter soldier anymore, it's been a while since I've seen a fight look that good in marvel

Now they use cgi for almost every fight. Kinda ruins the impact in my opinion
the scene where spiderman gets his ass kicked by green goblin in no way home is top five mcu fights imo
@@Cpt_Katsuragi compared to other MCU fights, Shang Chi feels as fresh now as Winter Solider and Civil War did in those times, so that’s why people like them

Winter soldier had some of the best fight choreography the MCU has ever had
yes!! plus in the lore the winter soldier WAS brainwashed and trained to fight as a supersoldier for 70 years so ofc it looks good
Honestly, this is a great illustration of how good action editing is rhythmic and good action direction resembles music in the way that it emphasizes phrases, suspense, and resolution.
It also helps that action choreography frequently uses a time signature (most often 4/4) to help keep performers’ movements synch up, just like dance.

Someone should make an action movie with only Free Bird as the soundtrack, on loop for the whole movie, just to see if it works.
This is one of those rare instances where I'm able to watch something I've already seen before and just by adding "Free Bird" it makes it feel like its the first time I'm seeing it. Nice job!

The one after Cobra Kai was BADASS! I genuinely could not tell who I was meant to root for and it just made it that much better because anyone could have won

I don't think it fits really, the reason the church scene in Kingsman fit so well with Free Bird in my opinion if because of how fast paced and chaotic the fight was, I feel these fight scenes are way too slow to fit in.
Good point. I had looked at a few faster-paced ones (for example, the bus fight from Shang Chi and the Ten Rings), but most of them already had loud music playing and I would have had to mute the original track in order for Freebird to be heard without blending with other music and sounding dissonant. Of course, that wouldn’t have been the end of the world, but I really wanted to dig up the fight scenes where I could add in the song without robbing viewers of the sound effects they already knew from the movie.
But hey, I’m considering doing a part 2 of this at some point, so if you would like to suggest fight scenes you think would fit better, I’m all ears. I wasn’t expecting this video to suddenly get so many views, so it might be cool to make another one and improve the quality and fit.

I dont think the title was meant to be taken 100% seriously, but I think it would legit fit in guardians of the galaxy or in avengers infinity war/endgame

I think a lot of the fight scenes in Crank and Hardcore Henry would fit really well.
I also think that the Neo vs 100 Smiths fight from Matrix Reloaded would fit well too
This video made me appreciate Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America in the MCU even more than I already did.
It's all about cinematic timing and the time signature of the song, it's just two very well made things fitting together because they are well made.

One thing I love about the cap elevator fight is those moments when he’s “muscling” or “pushing” through either them trying to pin or taze him. Adds realism to the fight. I’ve had jiu jitsu sparring sessions where I have to take a moment to power through something then I can decide what move I need to do next to push the fight back in my favor
making the music quieter in the first scene when they’re showing the security cam footage was a stroke of genius

Given the style of music in Cobra kai that Johnny is accosted with and Miguel being his first student this fits extremely well
This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite MCU movie and the best fight scene in any movie ever.
Imagine this song plays in a crowded place and when the riff comes a random fist hits your face outta nowhere then you hit back the person beside you then everyone suddenly joins the brawl.
This video is great. While the kingsman scene was well done the fact that it was senseless murder displeased me. However watching Cap fight with this song was awesome. Heroic asskicking, free bird style. Beautiful. I miss you Cap.

Kingsmen was onto something with using Free Bird for the Church fight. It fits perfectly with any over the top fight scene
Honestly, it seems kind of natural for Free Bird to fit action scenes because it changes ideas (phrases? I'm not super solid on music terms) at about the same pace as the fight scenes add complications or new developments. Seems like people wordlessly agreed that 12-15(ish) seconds is about as long as it takes before the audience wants to shift gears.
