The reason why the first scene is realistic is because most of the time, the main protagonist is always intact and is normaly better at fighting rather then the oponent, but here, the main antagonist gets absolutely beat up on the start and still gets beat up on the whole rest of the scene.

I thought the show was pretty crap and the depiction of frank castle was horrible. Not saying Jon Bernthal was bad or anything I think he was given terrific material.
