Thanks for sharing this video. You dont sound like a person to use expletive regularly so leaving them in this video highlights how difficult or frustrating this job can be. I’m worried about trying to tackle this myself.
I like your "regular guy" install videos. They're more real than many you see on RUclips. This project is on my "to do" list, but I'm not looking forward to it....then again, I don't like driving around waiting for a shift cable to snap, either.
Hahaha. I appreciate it. I would love to do these tutorials on a nice lift with super nice tools and lighting but I gotta work with what I got haha. The job itself isn’t bad at all. Just a lot of simple tasks. The hardest part is making the adjustments. Mostly because it’s difficult to test without driving the car so it takes a lot of trial and error. Good luck man!
Meh, if it aint broke yet, dont worry bout it lol. If 1 snaps on ya,you can simply lay up under the back of car, twist the cables with your hand where they are mounted to tranny, twist em till your shifter in car is in 3rd gear,boom- drive it home(or to shop or whatever) car will do 90 in 3rd gear np
Hmm. On which end? Transmission or shifter? I don’t remember it being bent but I might not have noticed? Do you have any pictures? Perhaps drop numeric an email, their customer service is great.

It's definitely not the worst job but certainly can be frustrating, mostly with trying to get everything dialed in. Once it's done though, its great!

Great video. I just received my kit and noticed one of the cable end stud is slightly bent. Was yours the same way? Was it intentional? Thanks
