While I love the old truck content, I also love this. Getting a first person perspective of this operation is cool. My grandpa owned a road construction company in the mid - late 70s but I never got to see any of that. Thanks for the great video as always Joe

When I paved in the 90s a leaking gate on a belly dump was a 12 pack for the crew fridge. On the cb you heard 12 pack 12 pack over and over.

I remember when we did Chelten Avenue from Wissahickon to Germantown Ave in 18 hours straight. Judge had that Plant running like a Swiss Watch. Happiness to Me was driving My Bosses Green Wreckers with the Clover on the side. She’s the Best Boss That I Ever Had!!!

Yeah I did a little coal patch work back in 1986 when I got out of H.S. For our local rural township it was hot & dirty I got to operate a roller for 1 day but mostly truck driver old 1969 I - H 2070 A Fleetstar Gas job single axle 5 spd with the 2 spd dog splitter it was the truck the straw boss took me in to get my first Illinois truck license in those days before C.D.L you were given a B license for school bus or small high cube delivery I got the C license for 10 ton dump and Illinois issued a D license for Tractor Trailers

I lasted 3 months hauling asphalt two years ago with my own truck. could be the jerk offs i was hauling for i pac but for some reason i kept getting pushed out of the paver and couldn’t get the hang of it . Went back to driving semi’s and it’s nice not getting up real early and finishing late at night

The tube thing in the 90s, most banks did that. It was interesting how they did it. but fun to watch the tube fly thru back to the office.

I agree, super cool! I use a Sony zv1 camera for my B roll and vlogging stuff and I have 2 go pro hero 7's and one here 10 or 11 that I use for the action and driving angles

Major change of pace there hahaha but yea man I agree! I love that RD! I believe it's a 300 and an 8LL. It was hauling blacktop. And yea unfortunately they lost lol but like you said I had fun. And I'll try and you do the same!
