I’m trying to save some money for their A350 and the PMDG 777, but after watching this video, it has a really compelling case for me buying it, especially considering it’s reasonable price for it’s great quality. I think they can do a spectacular job with the A350 considering it’s not as complicated of an aircraft (despite a lack of high quality and reliable public data as the aircraft is still relatively new). Great video as always Emmanuel.

Looks aboslutely stunning visually, I wonder how deep the systems simulation actually goes though. I ntoiced when you spooled up to 50%, the engines spooled up almost instantly, that looks like the default msfs turbine engine spool model

I absolutely don’t understand those who ask pmdg to implement the same realism system as inibuilds implemented for the a300. why do you need pmdg guys? you should buy this plane, it has much more advantages: it is large, but can land on the same length of runways as a Boeing. Hi, I’ll make a full tutorial over the next couple of days. I believe I have a tutorial for non precision approaches for the A310, the procedure should be the same.
It was set to control the rudder axis only. As per the real plane, the rudder only has limited authority over the nose wheel steering (in most planes 8 degrees vs 75 by tiller). That’s not an issue, but was simply a misconfiguration on my side.
As you said, my 4090 and frame generation kinda make the results inconclusive. All I can say is that it runs very well here. Like literally anything else though 😅
@@droge192True, but what can I say? That’s what my system is, can’t change it. At least I’m honest about it and don’t just say it runs great without additional info.
@@droge192 yea am aware quite a few of streamers are using upper tier pc specs. Though so far the verdict that's been going about its slightly better than the donated a310.
Hello Emmanuel, nice video as usual, quick question how are the frame rates for this aircraft, the A310 is heavy on the frames and in the requirements for this aircraft is calling for a 13th gen CPU?
Hi, my RTX4090 kinda invalidates all those tests. It runs completely smooth here - but so does anything else. What I *can* say is that my 9th gen CPU together with the 4090 is able to run it smoothly.
Impressive aircraft for sure especially the autopilot. So often the AP is over reactive which spoils the sense of flight. Will only get better and for sure a plane to own. Gratz to the Devs. I’m sure you typed bEtty instead of bAtty 😅. Looking forward to horse transport 😮. Thx for video was very informative
Incredibly modelled plane for a very reasonable price. I have the A310 but have not actually flown it yet. Can anyone summarise what are the main differences in terms of the depth of modelling that iniBuilds have done between the two? Personally I am more interested in the A310 than this, so I'm hoping they can do an A310 update to make the features a bit more equal, but I'm not holding my breath.
I have the Honeycomb Bravo as well and reverse thrust works fine for me on the A310. In the EFB throttle calibration settings, do you have reverse thrust on axis set to on? If so, turn it off as the reverse thrust has a seperate axis assigned in your regular control settings and therefore conflicts with the A310 if this setting is turned on. If that isn’t the issue, there may be some binding conflicts in your control settings profile which the A310 doesn’t like. If that’s the case, then I would recommend making a seperate profile for the A310 which would work better although I didn’t have to do this. Otherwise, it could be a quality issue with your throttle quadrant but I don’t suspect this is the issue if it is working with all your other aircraft. I hope this helps you out a little bit.
Hey @Emi -- your videos are simply amazing and so helpful, thank you. Quick question that I just can't figure out (even looked in Inibuilds' forums) -- whenever I select Medium Autobrake or even Low Autobrake, the light on the button never 'lights' up; I can get Max Autobrake to light up before takeoff, any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

fyi, game audio was barely audible. When you said "listen to the sound of the fuel pump switches", all we could hear was some weird wind noise, I'm guessing from your real room, coming in through your microphone.
It is a GE CF6 engine just with a PW spiral texture added in. You can tell it is a CF6 engine due to the added pointed exhaust cone behind the exhaust itself (the PW4000 doesn’t have this added exhaust cone). The spirals will depend on which livery is being used as they are different with each livery. Inibuilds said that they will be releasing an update in the future which will add the PW4000 engine.
@@JamesFrancoSwissIn real life, this plane D-AEAF uses the Pratt and Whitney engines therefore it uses the spiral as well in order to make it feel as realistic as possible without using the PW engines right now.
@@A330Driverthat wasn’t really confirmed by any party, was it? I mean, it did NOT look coincidental that it happened right after the leak of that information but for all intents and purposes we only have the official statement about Xbox performance issues being the reason.
@@ironlemon666Neither was it denied by either party. The evidence shown was quite overwhelming and didn’t leave many questions. I've heard that the A300 has an interesting feature which is realistic door arming and escape slides. Could you please rewiew the passenger wersion and showcase the feature i have mentioned before?
I’ll feature the pax version very soon, but my in-development version seems to have some trouble there which ini is aware of however, so I’m sure it’ll be fixed for release.
I saw on Inibuilds site that this is £60 for the Xplane version....... that'd be a big mistake if they try and charge that for this on MSFS. Hopefully it'll be reasonably priced.
To be fair, I tend to say 99% of flightsimmers are far, far away from “knowing how everything works”, but they can still use these addons. As John says, ultimately planes are similar to another. They fly in the same physics after all. And there’s manuals and tutorials available all over the internet. There’s some new areas to pay attention to in this one, but of course that’s all explained in the manual, so with half an hour of reading you’ll be taught everything you need to know to enjoy the product.
Apologies if this is a dumb question but regarding the wear on the tires.. do the tire conditions reset when you load up the plane for a new session (wearing only happening if you’re doing multiple flights in one sim session) or does Inibuilds remember the tire conditions from the last session?
Just be sure to shut your sim down correctly, MSFS still has the issue that it looses saved data if you just close the window or press Alt+F4. You need to exit through the menus. That’s an old MSFS bug that Asobo never bothered fixing.
BTW I think a study level aircraft is only so if a decent POH and/or tutorial/guide is supplied. Otherwise I would call it a discovery level aircraft. In tat regard I am a bit disappointed in the otherwise great A300. Great examples are Black Square or PMDG.
@@A330Driver I think the AP and performance are the main problem. The A310 felt a lot like a default plane from asobo to me rather than an addon with lots of improvements. I might have to give it another try. Unless somebody tells me the A300 is what the A310 should have been I keep my hands off.

Question: at the end, why do you turn on the APU bleed? Can you not just leave the APU running without the bleed?
Why can't you steer with a steering axis only? Same issue from the A310! 52:39
It was set to control the rudder axis only. As per the real plane, the rudder only has limited authority over the nose wheel steering (in most planes 8 degrees vs 75 by tiller). That’s not an issue, but was simply a misconfiguration on my side.
Hey, where do you found liveries for this aircraft ? Thanks
I have a quick question whenever I try to respond to an airport with the plane it keeps crashing my game. Do you know what I can do to fix it?
Quick question, what is the secondary flight plan and why you filled it?
How's the FPS compared to the a310 on other peoples systems? Cause his 4090 wont be indicative of bad optimization
As you said, my 4090 and frame generation kinda make the results inconclusive. All I can say is that it runs very well here. Like literally anything else though 😅
@@A330Driver Alrighty. Thanks for taking the time to answer though :)
@@droge192True, but what can I say? That’s what my system is, can’t change it.
At least I’m honest about it and don’t just say it runs great without additional info.
What is the main difference between the iniBuilds A310 and the A300?
Surprisingly the frames a lot better than the a310.
Haha, might very well be 😂
Thanks!
Hey, how do you walk outside the plane? Drone camera?
...YOU Sir may be the best thing that's happened to the flight sim world
Thank you so much!
When you want a no bullshit vid he is the one to goto!
Danke !
Gerne
wow why so much ghosting on the frontweel at 1:46:50 and 1:47:13 ??
Incredibly modelled plane for a very reasonable price. I have the A310 but have not actually flown it yet. Can anyone summarise what are the main differences in terms of the depth of modelling that iniBuilds have done between the two? Personally I am more interested in the A310 than this, so I'm hoping they can do an A310 update to make the features a bit more equal, but I'm not holding my breath.
Hope the reversers can be made to work with the Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant. Absolutely impossible to get them to work with the A310.
Any chance you could do a checklist (for printing) for this when it comes out? :)
iniBuilds did a very good one in the manual. It’s the same that I used for the video.
Thanks@@A330Driveris it available to download yet?
Hey @Emi -- your videos are simply amazing and so helpful, thank you. Quick question that I just can't figure out (even looked in Inibuilds' forums) -- whenever I select Medium Autobrake or even Low Autobrake, the light on the button never 'lights' up; I can get Max Autobrake to light up before takeoff, any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?
Does simbrief work with the fmc like it does on the a310?
Guys, i'm missing the study level long haul airliners, lately, i have been fllying the 310 arround and waiting for de 777, the thing is, i'm not a PC nor Xbox user, but a xcloud user, yes, i thing we all can agre i most likely hate my self for doing this. I bought the 737 and there is a couple of anoyng things, like when i set the altimeter to std, its starts to freak out, and the bigger issuy, i cannot update the navigation base, even paying for navigraph subscription And the msfs 2024 is comming out, theroefore, it very possibile i'm going to lose acess to 2020 and everything i bought, including the 777, thenfore, it's worth to waiting the 777 or the A300 is the one?
What mods are you using to do the exterior walk around?
fyi, game audio was barely audible. When you said "listen to the sound of the fuel pump switches", all we could hear was some weird wind noise, I'm guessing from your real room, coming in through your microphone.
Mmh, strange. When I tested the file at home prior to the upload it was fine. Does anyone else feel the same way about it?
Emi, great review as always. Are you running fsrealistic?
I am! I linked the A300 to the Fenix A320 Profile, where in turn I am using the highest rated one from the cloud (yes, I am that lazy 😂).
Great video! When looking at the engines I noticed the engine spiral looked like the Pratt and Whitney. Is it a PW or GE? :) thank you!
I thought so! Thank you for your answer! 😊
@@JamesFrancoSwissIn real life, this plane D-AEAF uses the Pratt and Whitney engines therefore it uses the spiral as well in order to make it feel as realistic as possible without using the PW engines right now.
@@TheMergeBuff45 ah okay makes sense why they did that then!
Thank you
Anyone know if 737CL or Dash-8 is in progress anywhere or any future plans for it?
We might see a Dash8Q400 from Majestic at some point. No 737CL as far as I’m aware.
I don't see the A320neo by inibuilds in marketplace on Xbox what's happened??
Ini stole code from the freeware FBW A320 and thus it was pulled out of the beta.
The fact that both party’s simply went quiet - which is normally exactly what lawyers would recommend in order not to say anything that could be used against you - says it all really.
I've heard that the A300 has an interesting feature which is realistic door arming and escape slides. Could you please rewiew the passenger wersion and showcase the feature i have mentioned before?
I’ll feature the pax version very soon, but my in-development version seems to have some trouble there which ini is aware of however, so I’m sure it’ll be fixed for release.
the front gear pneumatics seems undergound while the wings ones are off the ground. Am I wrong?
Not sure I can follow you, could you rephrase?
I saw on Inibuilds site that this is £60 for the Xplane version....... that'd be a big mistake if they try and charge that for this on MSFS. Hopefully it'll be reasonably priced.
Great video 👍 have they give any idea as to when this will arrive on Xbox?
Best to ask this on their discord.
it's getting more realistic , i don't know if i'll be able to handle it i mean you really have to know how everything works right ?
once you learn airliners they are all kinda the same they just do those same things a little bit differently
@@A330Driver Agree there is a ton i dont know thats for sure!
is this in studylevel build?
Import flightplan from simbrief?
Does it kill frame rates like the A310?
No fire bell?
Think it needs a bit longer to power all the systems up until the bell also works.
Interesting watching the start...In the real a/c, the ground person would probably get sucked into the engine!!
Apologies if this is a dumb question but regarding the wear on the tires.. do the tire conditions reset when you load up the plane for a new session (wearing only happening if you’re doing multiple flights in one sim session) or does Inibuilds remember the tire conditions from the last session?
Iirc the plane remembers the tire wear, and it gradually gets more worn out, you can change it to disable wear and tear or to accelerate wear and tear
@@tanmaychat5802 thank you for that info. That is actually super cool. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones!!
Just be sure to shut your sim down correctly, MSFS still has the issue that it looses saved data if you just close the window or press Alt+F4. You need to exit through the menus.
That’s an old MSFS bug that Asobo never bothered fixing.
@@A330Driver thank you for that additional info!
Is this EBBR developed by Aerosoft?
It’s developed by Jo Erlend Sund and published via Aerosoft
I wonder what the framerate is like on this model. If it's the same as on the 310 then I'll probably pass.
Is the Terrain Radar actually working ?
I need to find out myself haha, haven’t flown it into any place where I actually expected any returns yet.
@@A330Driver haha, okay thank you for the answer.
Apparently it’s not gonna work on release but will be added later.
thank you
BTW I think a study level aircraft is only so if a decent POH and/or tutorial/guide is supplied. Otherwise I would call it a discovery level aircraft. In tat regard I am a bit disappointed in the otherwise great A300. Great examples are Black Square or PMDG.
Will it use custom AIRACs from Navigraph or default MSFS ones?
navigraph if you buy it
It uses the AIRAC from the MSFS database, but remember you can update that one through Navigraph as well.
Is this available on xbox?
Best to ask this in their discord.
I am not really enjoying flying the A310 and that is why i am hesitant to try this.
Why is that?
That's exactly the point, why you should to try this aircraft bro
@@A330Driver I think the AP and performance are the main problem. The A310 felt a lot like a default plane from asobo to me rather than an addon with lots of improvements. I might have to give it another try. Unless somebody tells me the A300 is what the A310 should have been I keep my hands off.
@droge4348 Oh, you're right. I had a mistake when read post. I thought, that he enjoyed by a310, but doesn't gonna buy a300
