I worked as a ramper in the USA on an airline that exclusively operates the a320 famly and me just say..fenix got the audio for the IAE startup exactly right. Nothing makes the ears ring more than that fuel being introduced!
Thank you 320 pilot for the thrustmaster TCA throttle quadrant calibration for the Fenix you did about a year ago. As I had to re watch that to recalibrate my throttle quadrant to the new block 2.
A couple of tips / things you might have missed: 1. You can use the PA volume knob (click it on and scroll to increase) on the RMP to hear the cabin announcements in the cockpit better than just having the door open. 2. When the cabin called you, you could have clicked on the CAB volume and transmitted on CAB to hear them talk to you (remember to click back to VHF1 transmit and use the reset button to clear the call!). 3. The GSX integration is superb. Highly recommend the combination now. Loading is synced and you can dismiss GPU / chocks and call pushback just by turning on the beacon. 4. I would love to see your opinion on the new SDS (sidestick damping simulation) option in the EFB. Seen mixed reviews of whether it should be used with e.g. the TCA sidestick.
Amir said real world airbus pilots said -20 with sds is the way to go. V1 he’s a real world airbus captain is using it and said it feels like the real thing. Everyone is gonna feel different so it’s hard to be 100% like this is what it should be like.😊
@@masflow09to be fair, V1 uses an entirely different side stick. He does not use the TCA. I think those who have better hardware have better comments to make. I have a lot of trouble with the TCA and this plane. It floats so much for me that I need to relearn or tweak it.
@@Fcreceptor i know he has a different hardware but Amir recommended -20 for the majority. Yeah you can tune it to your liking just putting out there what they saying. A320 with IAE is more powerful than the cfm so timing the flare with throttle to idle is key.
The reason you only saw fan blade icing on engine 2 was because you had wind coming from the right, the airframe shields the number 1 engine in the Fenix.
The Fenix 320 is just an incredible piece of simulation. Every cent worth it! I'm really in love with the exterior model its so gorgeous detailed really awesome and the sounds are incredible realistic as well!
Fenix have done a fine job with this update. As they set the bar high before they have now gone and set it that bit further! I've only so far managed one flight, but you can certainly feel the differences from V1
You need to turn on and up the PA knob on the audio panel of the pedestal, to hear the cabin crew and announcements. - Even with the door open, you won't hear (ambient) announcements, unless you've turned up the PA knob on the ped.
Great Video ! Thanks so much 👍🙏🏻✈️😂 It’s an amazing update for sure and Fenix quite simply have done an amazing job ! What a great Aircraft the A320 is 👊 And it’s only going to get better in my opinion ! Us Simmers are very lucky ! Look forward to more videos on your channel 👊👨✈️✈️❤️
Thank you, much appreciated. Looking forward to more flights on your channel as you explore these amazing updates to the Fenix A320 V2B2. Those IAE engines do sound amazing.
Great video! Any continuation on the 787 series, really enjoyed the first couple of episodes and now know all of the startup, FMC calculations and simbrief flight planning, was not so sure on the ils approach and having the plane follow the glideslope and localiser.
When you got the 'cabin ready' chime, there's a button below the PA knob on the pedestal that you press, and you'd have heard the annoucement - FA telling you the cabin was ready. Because you never turned on and turned up the PA knob on the ped, you didn't get to show of any announcements.
Great overview as usual. Once you've played around with it a bit more, I'll be very interested to hear your opinion on sensitivity settings and the new dampening features and what you think is the most accurate combination, especially with the Thrustmaster stick, if you have that?
Greetings sir, I must mention you create fabulous content. Thank you so much. Can you please advise me which would be a better fit in terms for practicing actual ECAM's and other system failures when you compare Fenix 320 & FS labs a320?
i have followed your videos for the last 2 years, brilliant tutorials. Would you be kind enough to let me know what head tracking software you use to head track and halt at a particular panel?
Great video, thank you so much for it! And of course, the addon is sensational too. There's just one thing I'm not entirely sure about; it might be a bug. After I passed the Speed/Mach Crossover Altitude and climb to FL300, the autopilot switches back to Speed mode during Step Climb, then back to Mach. Shouldn't the Mach mode always remain active above the Crossover Altitude?
Are the engine-specific updates mentioned all the same on the CFM? Things like the simulation of the ice on the engines, the smooth animations of starting the engines etc?
Certainly some bugs fixed but the new cockpit textures seem to perform worse in fps than the V1. The navigation seems to be closer to the real airplane in managed descents (I have a couple of thousand hours in the 319&320) The route construction is more realistic as well. But I continue to be frustrated by the operation of the MCDU. Nice review but let’s stay away from the irrational exuberance taking over this release.
Im having a problem were the fenix app no longer auto starts and sometimes even after manually starting it, it just freezes and won't allow me to import a simbrief flight plan or do anything else with it 😡
In the next live stream, type !specs - that might be set up to tell you 320SP's specs. Unfortunately the spec on his web site is not up to date I think.
how dare you progress you career on the dreamliner and leave us 320 sim pilots behind hahahahaha. jokes aside we get the best of both worlds, the 320 and the 787 from a real world pilot
I,m not happy with the taxi speed with the idle thottles. The plane just keeps gathering speed and I have to keep riding the brakes. I did a test by lining up on runway 18 at EVRA Riga and positioned the front wheel at the start of the main touchdown marker. I then released the park brake and kept the throttles in idle and by the time the plane reached the opposite marker at the other end of the runway, the speed was 53 knots.
Hi, thanks for watching! If this was with the IAE engines then this is accurate, with both engines running the A320 will ‘run away’ and accelerate continuously in the ground on a flat surface.
Even though I really like the update, I have the problem that since then the a320 has increased the temperature of my graphics card from 60 to 70 degrees to 85°. The power consumption of the PC measured directly at the wall increased from about 200 watts to 300 watts. All of this with locked 30 fps! No idea what's going on.
Eye-candy only, performance wise is the worst I've ever seen. My PC specs and a 3080 easily hit 58 fps with FBW A320 and traffic injector active on a busy YSSY. Fenix does 35 fps, stuttering and lagging everywhere with traffic injector OFF. Go figure 😢
I think you are pretty bad for msfs business. I am currently having way more fun watching your videos and some others great RUclipsrs than playing msfs! 😂
There are BUGS with this release. I believe the bugs are in the liveries and the new failures module in the EFB. The AP is messed up for sure! Clear as day turns to night night Fenix released this version a bit to early. "THE BUGS ARE FOUND IN CERTAIN LIVERIES"

After Fenix fixes a few bugs, I think this will be the best A320 that you can get for any flight sim. Very good job Fenix team!

My first and only aircraft addon as well, though i bought the Fenix back in 2022. And I love it! 😍

Thx for the video took quite awhile for bk2 to arrive but as you ssid clearly a major step up from an already great aircraft
I must say it. It's probably the best aircraft I've ever owned. That includes my favourites like QW 787 and pmdg products. Bravo fenix! 👏

2013 we had fsx 😂. From that to this in 10 years just mind blowing.
You need to check out the landing gear bay and flap/spoiler mechanisms.

Seems cool. Can you recommend a packag with lessons how to learn more about A320?

EPR is great because its independent of temperature. For the same amount of thrust, N1 changes with with temperature.
My favourite aircraft for a reason❤
Love the IAEs, now I can finally do proper Cyprus Airways (the original one that ceased operations in 2015) OPS.

Hi! how to switch from the CFM to the IAE version? i got the Fernix but i can see just the CFM version..
Is there any advantage to using the IAE engines over CFM? Or is it just a case of providing all the real-world options and ticking a box?
Hi I want to fly oceanic on Vatsim with 787 could you do a video about how to send oceanic clearance via fmc and receive it
Livery manager is not working, how to solve this problem?
What’s the airport used in this video?
Hi dude. What do you Think of the V2, what do you think of the exterior model and the cockpit model ? Are like the real aircraft?
