We head for Namibia in this three part overlanding adventure and exploration series.
In episode 1, we travel from South Africa, into Botswana, and head all the way up North to enter the Caprivi Strip into Namibia. Our destination for this episode is the spectacular Epupa falls, in the far North West.
What an achievement for the three Muskateers, and, so many magic moments that we will never forget.
This is one of those series you simply don't want to miss as we enjoy an adventure to new and far off places, in Southern Africa.

oh, yes , i was at epupa falls in Februar 23 and it was 40 Grad hot on the last camping ground right had, alone, no guests. the road to swartboisdrift was broken by flood after 70 KM so we retuned to epupa. OH what a nice country. Peter, germany

Epupa is actually easy to reach depending from the direction you coming, but for the adventure purists like you,,, the rough track excels better..

Was on the Kunene between Epupu and the sea. Went over to the Angola side for a bit but had to be careful. Old land mines.

What are your vehicles types and ages. What kind of modes and upgrade you've done for this type of touring and overlanding. Many overlander are more than happy to share their vehicle setups, but not you guys, eh? 🤔🤭

Shkowei river lodge is lovely...however I much prefer Ngepi river lodge further up.. of not more beautiful with Grass campsites.....wonderful there...however they all beautiful...those sunsets and the bird life...just wow
If I had to choose I’d choose Shakawe over Ngepi. Ngepi’s become very commercial and I much prefer the Shakawe region over Divundu.
Found your site a what a find! the most beautiful footage and really wetting our appetite and excitement as we are just completing our build, and will be setting of to head to Africa at the end of next month in our Leopard. Once again, an hour very well spent on a Friday evening. I even abandoned the Pub for this. Glad I did. The falls and drone shots made it and the fresh new territory to explore must have been special for you all. I am looking forward to my next S.A. trip, J'burg next Friday then Kruger the following Thursday.

Glad to hear the roads in Namibia are still amazing. Was so in 1993 ;).
The wider ones were done that way so that military aircraft could land on them back when the place was SW Africa and troops had to be moved around quickly ;).

Another absolutely incredible video guys! The drone shots and editing are unmatched and the spectacular views are enough to give me goosebumps. OK, so I follow Jim Baird - Adventurer, who does northern Canadian adventures, and a really miserable winter camping trek in incredibly awful slushy conditions led me to Xander Budnick, who because of some length-of-stay complications on a trip to Arizona to meet up with relatives in the US went to Baja, Mexican desert for a couple of nights, and suddenly RUclips says, I know what is perfect for you, camping overnight in Botswana, and suddenly I am spending Saturday night on my way with you guys to Namibia. And we're fishing. I live in Northern Alberta. Life is great in RUclips land.
Glad the algorithm delivered for a change! 😉
