The whole of Namibia is stunning but camping against one of those giant boulders at Spitzkoppe is one of the most peaceful and memorable experiences ever. The plant life and rock formations are unique and lots of exploring to do amongst the boulders.
Very beautiful Matt, enjoy your time, make your memories. Take it from an old man, time passes much too quickly... I myself spent to much time working instead of 'making memories'; I would have much rather had the memories for they are priceless.....
Hi Matt, been following your air arms channel for years and am now watching your series on Southern Africa and loving it so far. As a Namibian I cannot recommend my country enough. Heck there's even an old german folk song which says that once the sun has burned its mark on to your heart you can never forget and leave South West again. If I may correct you on a few facts though, Namibia is actually the second least populated country in the world (with Mongolia leading and Australia trailing us). The second largest city in Namibia is actually Rundu, followed by Walvis Bay. And another interesting fact, Spitzkoppe and the Erongo Mountains were once "connected", as they share the same granite composition. If you are ever around in Nam again and plan on bringing your rifles with, get in touch with me! As an avid hunter myself I know a few farmers who are always happy if their varmints get taken care of and sometimes even need a buck or two for the kitchen. Regards Thorsten Böhme (you can find me on fb)
This was the perfect way to start my day. Thank you for the guided tour guys! Sipping a beer and watching the sun set on those iron-filled mounds....perfect.
Those rocks in Spitzkoppe look so much like Joshua Tree NP in California. The big difference is you don’t have tons of people camping and playing loud music, rock climbers everywhere.
We discovered your channel during the weekend Matt! Well believe it or not, Swakopmund , Walvisbay and especially Spitzkupfen, was my childhood play ground. Back then there were no fences, less the close by community that now overseers of the Spitskop Reserve! Jackal and Heyena roamed freely. Now you are lucky to hear them, what to say see them around Spitskop and Small Spitskop. We'll be watching over supper guys! Thanks so much!
Well done, Mat and Nichole. Great episode contrast between city life and Spitskop is really great. The meat looks great definitely braai is the best. Enjoy the rest day.
Hi Matt! We've been following (vicariously) your journey through lower Africa and I just had to let you know that we also have our roots planted firmly in this land and your videos truely reflect why we ain't goin nowhere 😂
What a beautiful part of Southern Africa. I noticed your lady friend mentioned she felt like crying while watching the sunset over Nabia, well it happened to me although the Fish river canyon, wouldn't know what emotion that is but what a feeling.love your shows.enjoy your travels.
Infrastructure.... Matt you make me laugh... Most of it today is Chinese infrastructure! Toured my home soil back in 2018 and we were shocked at all the Chinese influx!
The internal combustion engine isn't going anywhere, it will just be using a different fuel. We will be sitting back later in life, having a laugh at the EV fad!

AT LAST!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 been waiting and waiting. Thought you went a walk about 😅😊😊😊😊
"back in the day when we had diesel trucks" A lot of wise words were said right there ❤🔥 KEEP TRUCKING
Each episode is so awesome! The beauty that God has created is simply stunning to see.
Namibia..............what a beautiful place, and I must say one of the cleanest countries.

What snorkel are you using. Can't find it in any of your videos. Looks like a good design sitting flush on the cab/windscreen.
