routin3s has traumatized me on two separate occasions because of two different floors, but both had the same issue : hold a zone, but with swarms of enemies.
@@Diamonddubbed not sure, since I play the game in french, but one of them is the long floor with a trench in the middle, and the other is one with two rising paths and an arch under a slope
rout1nes: - Just a calm glimpse into the tower environment. routine2: - You're getting used to keeping the enemies away. By this point, this mission type is the least of your concerns. routin3s: - Petroleum rains from above the sky as the dead fauna of the ocean tries to consume you.
rout1nes - Let's protect that zone. routine2 - Alright, quickly make sure the enemy doesn't get that zone. routin3s - PROTECT THE DAMN ZONE BY ENEMY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!
rout1nes: Alright! Let's capture those zones! routine2: a little more of a challenge but still manageable routin3s: FUCK YOU YOU'RE NOT CAPTURING THE ZONES
idk if anyone else noticed this, but if ur wearing headphones/earbuds, starting at 0:32 the two instruments playing the main melody slowly drift to the left and right ears and i think thats rlly cool
rout1n32: ACHT: "An endless version of the Splat Zones mode. Try and keep the zone for as long as you can, Eight." MARINA: "The game is only lost when the enemy captures the zone. If the zone is lost but hasn't been captured, quickly get it back to keep the fight going!" PEARL: "Make sure you splat those Jelletons too, Eight! Especially those flying jerks that act as living sprinklers!"
The first routine gives me an insane amount of nostalgia, I remember I had this theory where warabi/Mashup (the red octoling) from disspair would appear in side order and I'd continuously rewatch the nintendo direct trailer for side order to check for any clues that would support my theory lol

oh god no
Please no I got stuck on both for like half an hour
NOOOOOO
For me it was the soakerblock level
I think this one has the best transitions out of all of them, they all fit together nicely.
rout1nes - Let's protect that zone.
routine2 - Alright, quickly make sure the enemy doesn't get that zone.
routin3s - PROTECT THE DAMN ZONE BY ENEMY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!
You mean “every means necessary”?
Rout1nes: Good luck!
Routine2: Good luck, you're gonna need it.
Routin3s: Luck can't save you now.
the transitions were so clean especially the one transitioning 2 and 3
literally
these songs were definitely made for each other that transition was just awesome
Of course splat zone has one of the most menacing themes
Yes I thought it would be demolish but this 3rd stage does sound so incredibly sinister!
@@LavendaPanda d3molish is still quite menacing
But the intense drums, intense bass and clangs make it way more menacing
They knew they made a couple of _evil_ splatzones floors
