The way u use the magnetic attechment scared the shit out me the whole video 🥶
It's not only magnetic. There is a click mechanism. So it holds very well. Even on the FPV drone I never had any problems.

Which one is better Hero 10 or action 2 in your opinion? Did you encounter any overheating issues when you put the case on Action 2?
I was very excited. I own the Action 1 but I was expecting a Version 2. Die Action 2 for me is something very different...and not my thing
Yeah, I think it’s not for everyone. But I like the overall concept as it combines the best from the GO 2 and GoPro.

Photons hit the pixels on the sensor, what causes an electrical charge, that's interpreted as color information and saved to a medium such as an sd card.

So, even for your fast moving drone shots you use 24FPS?
I’ll be using mine for karting so was thinking as it’s fast moving I don’t want less than 60 FPS
Yes, otherwise I‘d have to change all other cameras frame rates as well.
@@pascalbasel that’s really interesting, I was under the impression to be smooth you need higher FPS for faster moving stuff. I’ll give it a try
@@AlexVangeenRacing 60fps is smoother, but I prefer a cinematic look and that's 24P. 24P needs motion blur though otherwise, it can look a bit laggy,

The Camera itself and quality is really good……BUT
It FELL OFF from the magnetic Lanyard from just moderate activity of riding a bicycle.
And with such incredible luck… it FELL exactly when I was crossing a small wooden bridge and right into the river water 😭😭😭
So, now I still have the front camera module and all the other accessories. So should I sell those parts or maybe wait for a sale and get another…. Unfortunately, they don’t just sell the camera unit itself. Also, I am not sure if I have the confident in it anymore.
It branded as an action camera and the magnetic lanyard function was one of the driving feature which attracted me for the purchase.
If it cannot handle the role of an action camera, they should put a big disclaimer saying the magnetic lanyard CAN ONLY BE USE for slowly walking and have a high chance of falling off with activities!! So I am pretty about that and how DJI advertise it as an action camera and with footage of its use with the lanyard being able to handle rigorous activities.
Anyway, perhaps I should just sell the Dual Screen module and get a GoPro instead.
As I said early on, the camera quality is very good but don’t rely on it as an action camera. DJI should take out that lanyard magnetic option to help others avoid the loss that I experienced with just moderate activities.

when you set the exposer to 1/50 what do you have the ISO set to. I am using ND and only use the action two on my FPV and trying to get a great video with out the brightness going high and low. I have tried iso just at 100 looks bad then tried 100 - 800 not looking good. Any advise to get the best settings? Thanks
Always to the lowest iso over the day. You need multiple nd filters to match it to different lighting conditions y
@@pascalbasel ok seems the iso is lower then my GoPro 8. If it is really sunny and I have a iso of 100 locked and use a ND 16 it’s seems a little darker then on the GoPro 8

I think all the technical comparison between hero 10 and action 2 are obsolete. They both deliver good quality for an action cam, and everyone should feel free happy to choose the right one for the own needs.

I like your video but I did not like my dji action 2, very bad indoor result with even good lighting, very noisy image even without any steady or rock steady

May I ask your exposure setting on Action2? Also, did your perform any noise reduction in the post?
I tried to shoot something but the quality (stabilization and noise) is very poor.

In a lower light environment, dont use stabilization. It reduces quality significantly. Just turn it off. Stabilization requires higher shutter speed, resulting in high iso and bad video quality.
