Crazy Gokart - Build & Test

  • This project was really crazy, but let's start from the beginning.
The off-road go-kart, buggy, cross-kart or whatever you call it came out quite interesting. It has a lot of power, is quite agile and not big. The steering could be better, so we will have to improve it.
A very big surprise turned out to be a cheap hydraulic bender and an electronic angle measurer. This combination gives a lot of possibilities, and what is brewing is inexpensive in relation to what it can do.
    A few details:
A Suzuki engine with over 50 hp
    A front from a wrecked ATV 150
A lot of 1 inch and 3/4 inch pipes
A steering rack and steering system bought online
Rear shock absorbers from an MZ 250 Motorcycle
    A few Hamburger knees
    ETC...
    Check out our other vehicles!

The part that really impresses me is he has managed to get uniform and decent bends with the notorious pipe bender .. normally you see kinked and bad joints from these benders. Always a pleasure to watch something being build from nothing . Well done that man .. thanks

    • @johnlennon8653
      @johnlennon8653 Месяц назад

@@ABCustomsI fill things wall tubing with sand and cap the ends with adjustable rubber plugs when using a pipe bender and never have issues. I’ve built a dozen or so roll cages for stock cars, and modified motorcycle frames by doing this , and never a kink or crack in the tubing.

OMFG!!! THAT THING IS A BEAST!!!! WOW!!!! - Bro... you NEED A HELMET!!!!! All it takes is one quick fall and BOOM!!! You are a vegetable!!! Or you can move your legs!! OR YOU ARE NO LONGER ALIVE!!! - PLEASE!!!!!! Get a GOOD HELMET!! And DO NOT BE CHEAP ABOUT IT!!! - you can't mess around with hitting your head.... I know what they can save you from.. I wouldn't be hear today if it wasn't for a helmet!!! AND MY CRASH SPLIT THE HELMET RIGHT IN HALF!!!! If that was my head, without the helmet, it would have been like a watermelon splattering everywhere :( Not very tasty tho...
Well now that I yelled at you to be safe, how about also being clean? LOL You should put some fenders on the back tires.... Not only will they help with all that dirt, grass, and mud, but they will fill out that area and make it look so cool!!! I'm not sure if making them closer to the tire or far away would look better.... I'm thinking more far away because it would give it more of a racing quad look...
0 I've been trying to describe a certain look of the fenders and I keep writing it out, then erasing it, like 5 times now LOL Then I realized I shouldn't be telling you about how YOUR fender should look, I KNOW that you will make it look BADASS no matter what!! LMAO!!!
I was very confused in the beginning of the video because the engine was at the very back, but I thought you were making a quad - and their engine is in the middle/front.... So I had no idea what you were planning LOL But it TOTALLY blew me away!!! And having a hand-gear shift is AWESOME!!! I've only ever seen someone do that ONE other time, and it was my neighbor who put one on a LIQUID COOLED HONDA 250R Engine (it was a 3-wheeler from the mid 1980's and it was the FASTEST trike I know of... maybe look them up sometime) and attached to a SMALL go-cart frame.. it was INSANE!!! Unlike you, he just put it on a factory made frame with zero suspension... He said it hurt his kidneys so bad from all the bumps LOL But I have to say I like your WAY BETTER!!! (plus it's double the cc's LOL)
    - GREAT WORK ONCE AGAIN!!! - You NEVER cease to AMAZE Me!!!!! Thank you for the awesome video!!!

Clean build but I feel like the clutch on the shifter made the handbrake useless for anything but hill parking and one handed cornering for tight turns means deep ruts would be your nemesis to down shift into ebreak to power out means the world's busiest right hand and no power steering just left hand on... great for flat land grass drifting but then why put suspension on it at all.
Buddy... it's a gorgeous build, I'd not have opted f the engine to be loaded to the swing arm instead of the chassis and have that much unsprung weight personally, but I understand why you did it like that to make chain tensioning a non problem.
But I don't understand why the clutch on the shifter...
Like... you are clearly talented with a wonderful level quality craftsmanship.
But I just don't understand why not install a clutch pedal?
    Please I'd love a reply.
(Did you ever opt f the pedal is all I wondering lol)
Ceep the great content coming bro you're one of the real ones.
