We just had some close friends move out to Flower Mound... now we have a bonus reason for visiting! Don't sweat your videos too much... they've been great! You do you...
Flower Mound seems like a really nice place. Those trails alone are worth the drive and now you have a free place to stay haha. I appreciate the kind words. I'm always wanting to try new and different things with my videos. It's a fun challenge for me. Keeps me motivated to hear that people are enjoying them!
Finally got around to checking this place out today. Very cool, even tho I think parts were flooded. The flooding caused me to get confused about the direction I was supposed to be going, but everyone was friendly and it didn't even really matter. Awesome place to ride.
This place is great! I had a friend that lived in Dallas, and over the last year everytime I wanted to come up, it seemed to be flooded. I honestly haven't been back since I filmed this video. Hoping once this virus is over I can come try it out again.
North shore is by far one of my favorite trails, loop 4 has a an extensional part of the trail some don’t know about and is by far one of the best loops there.
Cobra Kyle yea dude it’s a great trail, the rain isn’t helping though, if you ever want to ride when you’re in the area I’m down to hit some loops, I’m 18 though so I don’t know if that’s a problem or not, but it’s the main trail I usually ride.
@Cobra Kyle I've only covered Loop 1 & 2 from the MADD Shelter. Thanks for the footage. Helps me know what else is in store. Subscribed! Good luck growing your channel.
Hi John! Thanks so much for subscribing. North Shore was a blast! I know I did the whole east side (can't remember how many numbers there were), and about half the west side. I've been told all the more tech features are on the 2nd half of west side I didn't go to lol. I'm hoping to come back to Dallas soon, but heard you guys keep getting rained on.
That "sketchy" part I swear is twice as sketchy now lol. And you're right it looks like nothing on the GoPro compared what it looks like IRL. Thanks for the video
haha I haven't been back to this trail since I filmed this. I really loved this place! Every time I was passing through Dallas and tried to go here it was flooded.
Just tried it for the first time today. Parked at twin coves. Wow the rock gardens. What section was this and what parking lot did you use? Good video!
I just checked the map and it looks like twin coves is on the west side of the trails which is the harder section. I parked at Murrell Park and rode the East side trails in this video. Much easier over there. Thanks for watching!
When I went it was pretty hard packed, but this was over a year ago. I know they've received a lot of rain up there, so hard to say what it's like now. If you do go just stay on the east side as it didn't have anything too gnarly and you could probably be successful on a hybrid bike there.
I did the opposite haha. I rode the entire east, then rode maybe half the west side? Unfortunately my memory card on the GoPro filled up on way to the west side, so I have no footage of it. More reason to return!
Cool. I tried to go there the other day but it is flooded just like everything else around here. Did you STRAVA this ride. Dig your vids ! Thumbs up and subbed
I've heard it's been flooded for quite some time there. I just downloaded Strava a couple weeks ago, so unfortunately I didn't record this ride. Thank you for the thumbs up and subscription! Glad to have you here. I'd love to come ride these trails again in the near future.
I actually made a video about 5 awesome bikes for under $1,200. ruclips.net/video/F8EKwcEYRi4/видео.html Any of these bikes would work on the North Shore!
I did hit the West side. It was great. My GoPro memory got filled up before I hit that side though, so no footage of it :( Dallas isn't that far from me, so I'll be back to film West side eventually.
Cobra Kyle ohh that’s no fun lol. Every time we go we do the west. Next one you should try is Marion Sansom Park. Tratar more fun it’s more down hill and climbing but there is a fun line of you like to jump
If you want to experience something close to pure insanity, I can show you around Big Cedar. It has some insane climbs that I have yet to conquer but a ton of variety for different skills.
Hey Michael! I'm glad you are enjoying the videos even from the road bike perspective! If you're ever in Texas, we'll have to get you on the trails for a bit. I think you'd love it!
Sorry man. It was a very last minute and short trip. I want to come back to Dallas for a dedicated bike trip and will hit you up then. I'm looking to go to TexPlex when it cools down some.
just moved fr om Houston area, im looking for some dirt jump trails in the dfw. Do you know where any are? I found texplex but haven't been there yet. thanks and nice yt
Thanks! I actually live in San Antonio, so not very familiar with Dallas jump trails. Check out the Huntstyle channel. He lives in Dallas and has done videos on a lot of trails up there. Last I heard Texplex doesn't allow MTB anymore. Just motorcycles :(

I love those kinds of trails. They're not challenging, but soooo much fun to hammer. It's up to my legs to make them work.
I'm hoping to come back here soon. I had a really good time the one time I was there.
It’s nice trail I tried it many times
It's a lot of fun. This was still the only time I've been there. Keep trying to make it back!
just started riding this trail and that last drop has held me up! Im gonna hit it this weekend!
Cobra Kyle, the footage was beautiful! I loved the music in the intro since you mentioned it. What a pretty place.
I forgot to reply to this. Thank you! I really enjoyed this park. Glad you enjoyed that ambient jam.
thanks man!..Looks like a fun trail!!

My favorite local trails. Horseshoe and Knob hills trails are great and within a stones throw.
Dude....Sick name! I'm excited to check out more of Dallas in the future.
North shore is by far one of my favorite trails, loop 4 has a an extensional part of the trail some don’t know about and is by far one of the best loops there.
I've been wanting to come back ever since I filmed this video, but I know it got hit hard with rain. Looks like more this week :(

Lmao the ending was funny.. death by bridge
Another asome content
Thank you my friend!

Yeah, the camera doesn’t even do that drop justice! It’s gnarly!
I haven't been back in a couple years, but remember feeling pretty nervous about it. I'd love to ride this place again someday soon.
Cobra Kyle well if you make it back I’ll ride it with you if you like just shoot me email drmattwood@yahoo.com

I felt your tmj to much dude! Great video 👍
Dude for real! That's still one of the most memorable moments I've ever had on a bike lol. Thanks for watching!
is that your camera recording the audio? Or a external mic? Sounds great!
That is the camera audio from a GoPro Hero 4 Silver.
Just did all of the west side on my 20 year old haro hardtail. Super fun park
Super cool! I still haven't been back here since filming this video two years ago. Itching to get back.
Is the path loose dirt or is it packed down. Wondering because i ride a hybrid bike. I can handle a little loose dirt but not much
When I went it was pretty hard packed, but this was over a year ago. I know they've received a lot of rain up there, so hard to say what it's like now. If you do go just stay on the east side as it didn't have anything too gnarly and you could probably be successful on a hybrid bike there.
What bike is that
It was a 2017 YT Jeffsy AL One. I sold it a couple months ago, but great bike!
Nice! What camera setup are you running. Solid footage!
Thank you! I use a GoPro Hero 4 Silver with an Evo SS wearable gimbal. Appreciate you watching!
Great video, just discovered your page! Great trail! Knob Hill is 5 mins from my house but a little too technical for me... Ride on
I appreciate that George! Keep riding and you'll be ripping Knob Hill in no time.
Nice texas trail! I'll have to hit that up!
I really enjoyed these trails. I hope to come back to Dallas soon and see what else they have.
I always try to ride northshore when I am in DFW . Do loop 5 on the west side then go ride the east. Good 14mi of trail.
I did the opposite haha. I rode the entire east, then rode maybe half the west side? Unfortunately my memory card on the GoPro filled up on way to the west side, so I have no footage of it. More reason to return!

Which bike do you recommend under $1500 for this trail?
I actually made a video about 5 awesome bikes for under $1,200. ruclips.net/video/F8EKwcEYRi4/видео.html
Any of these bikes would work on the North Shore!
@@CobraKyle thanks
You should try the west side is more fun
I did hit the West side. It was great. My GoPro memory got filled up before I hit that side though, so no footage of it :( Dallas isn't that far from me, so I'll be back to film West side eventually.

Funny, I subbed you and this popped up in my feed after I commented on your video about Urban Riding. 🤓
Haha! I appreciate the sub! I hope to come back to Dallas soon and check out more.
If you want to experience something close to pure insanity, I can show you around Big Cedar. It has some insane climbs that I have yet to conquer but a ton of variety for different skills.
@@knobbynomad1428 For sure! I've heard good things about Sansom park as well
Great Job Kyle, still stealing your great RUclips ideas! Cheers!
Thanks man! Stealing my ideas? No need...your channel is doing great! Keep up the good work.
Recommend for beginners??
I'd say it's pretty great for beginners. The east side I did was very straight forward and no big features or anything too scary.
I had no idea this was so close to Colleyville....
Very cool to live close to this place. I've been trying to make it back but you guys seem to keep getting rained on.
I've got to get there! Its funny its a one way trail but you ran into at least two groups going the wrong way lol
For sure a good time. These trails had frequent arrows and wrong way signs. Amazing how many are oblivious.
Come on up!!!
At 8:25 I’ve been to the north shore and that part was too sketchy to go down and I almost went on the broken bridge
Hopefully they've fixed that bridge. It looked scarier to me than the drop.
I hope so too I was only there to visit family but I live in Southern California
Cobra Kyle Went today and maybe its a new kind of broken but the exit side and a board in the last quarter are jacked up lol
Is that a Jeffsy you're riding? 29 or 27?
It is the 27.5 version. An amazing machine! I'm riding with a dude tomorrow that has the 29 Jeffsy. Interested to see it in person.
Kyle, I think the whole vid was cool!
However, as a road biker, I still think y'all are a bit crazy. ;)
Either way, keep presenting great vids. :)
Hey Michael! I'm glad you are enjoying the videos even from the road bike perspective! If you're ever in Texas, we'll have to get you on the trails for a bit. I think you'd love it!
very nice.. do you live in dallas can you offer me a tour??
, I´m going to move to dallas on Nov 2021 and I want to know a places to ride my bike.
is this trail good for a gravel bike? Looks ok but video can be deceiving
I'd say most of it would be doable on gravel bike (east side). I didn't explore a ton of west side, but heard it's a bit more technical
Joggers and walkers are supposed to walk counter direction of the bikes for safety so they can see you coming.
Its a great trail but watch out for hikers...they will be in your way when you least expect it.
I encountered quite a few. I thought this trail was clearly marked, but I guess someone will always choose to ignore the signs haha
Its like 3 feet high
Wish i knew you were in town bro
Sorry man. It was a very last minute and short trip. I want to come back to Dallas for a dedicated bike trip and will hit you up then. I'm looking to go to TexPlex when it cools down some.
Cobra Kyle and the awesome trail at Cedar Hill State Park keep in touch
Camo Dude MTB&H Will do! Let me know if you ever hit Austin or San Antonio.
Riding North Shore on Saturday if you're free!
just moved fr om Houston area, im looking for some dirt jump trails in the dfw. Do you know where any are? I found texplex but haven't been there yet. thanks and nice yt

Looks more like a horse path.
Haha. Maybe it was at some point?
@@CobraKyle It used to be a motorcycle trail.
mjs1231 where is the horse shit😂?
4:30... was that your jaw popping? Dude?!? lol
haha yeah. I'm glad it didn't ruin my ride
Hi
Hi Carrie how are you?
So these 'trails' are for pedestrians AND MTBs? hmmm. Not cool
Edit out that plastic bottle 😂🤮
