I have some concerns first cinemryc mode only works in 1080p, Prores have to upgrade to 256 GB get 4K, and also if shooting night scenes where there is street lights, headlights you get lens flares, halos etc so that’s big turn off when you spending 1000 or more but in ideal situations it’s perfect but what do you think I’m on the fence between mini and the pro but got see some tests

From my understanding cinematic mode does work up to 4K 30fps but you are correct that ProRes is only available at 256gb and above. However, that is because it takes up more storage space and requires more GB. And to be honest at the time and age we live in 128gb really is not enough to make content with. But I also understand that’s it’s a phone and not a RED Komodo 😂 so I get where you’re coming from with the price tag. The low light does have issues with flaring and noise, but hopefully you wouldn’t be using it constantly in super lowlight situations that would ruin the image. If it were me, depending on what you are upgrading from, the mini doesn’t have enough of the camera features to make it worth it. I personally think either of the pro models is a smarter purchase. It just depends how much you plan to use the camera in a filmmaking or “cinematic” situation. But again it is just a phone and we can’t really expect it to have all the quality features of a dedicated photo or video camera.
